Unfortunately, a disappointment. We ordered lobster with spaghetti. After we pointed this out to the waiter, it turned out to be more like spaghetti with lobster sauce. There was hardly any lobster flavor. The portions were also rather small. Otherwise, the location was very quiet and the staff very friendly. But the menu was very disappointing.

Great off the beaten path restaurant. Super authentic Tuscany cuisine. We have a great meal with beef tartare, steak and enjoyed the food and experience. It’s off the main road so not touristy at all - definitely the highlight of our trip. And the service was great and we enjoyed all the recommendations.

Super delicious food and impeccable and excellent service, beautiful place in the center with a warm atmosphere. If you want to spend a wonderful evening eating quality food, I recommend this authentic Tuscan place.

We went with a reservation made by a friend for dinner, with a reserved table and set menu. They were very kind; we decided to change our reserved menu and they accepted without any problem. The dishes were very good and full of flavor. Perhaps a bit more gourmet, and the portions were somewhat small compared to what we're used to. The staff were friendly and attentive, as good as you can expect in a place packed with people, and when we arrived it was empty. People from all over the world were eating there in the small dining room; it was a great experience. The bathroom was nice, spacious, and clean. The decor was old-fashioned, typical I suppose. Unique and beautiful. The air conditioning was great. Definitely recommended.

22/03/2026: A superb experience. Thanks to the staff and Chef Andrea Landi's advice. After the presentation, we trusted him for his expertise and experience. Since we wanted to have a Florentine steak for lunch, he recommended the best one he had available: the Portuguese Minhota. A spectacular presentation, a 1.5-kilo cut, with an excellent lean-to-fat ratio, and truly beautiful to look at. Perfectly cooked, with a unique flavor, tender as butter, and an intense, aromatic aroma. We accompanied the meat with rosemary potatoes and fried artichokes. We sampled an excellent Colomba cake and a limoncello to finish. You outdo yourself every time we come. We'll definitely be back on our next relaxing and shopping day at the Barberino del Mugello outlet.

05/01/2026: Located in the heart of the historic center, yet conveniently located just a 3-minute walk away, with ample parking available free at night. The rooms are nice and comfortable. The hotel has a terrace overlooking the main square, where breakfast is served during the season, available for an additional fee. For the price paid in December, it's a very good value. It's a shame that, after a perfect night's sleep, at 7:10 a.m., a loud ticking sound from a pump behind our room (number 4) interrupted the perfect silence.
29/12/2025: We stayed at this hotel for a short weekend in Florence, during our visit to the Uffizi Gallery, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The property is beautiful and meticulously maintained, with immaculately clean and welcoming spaces. The staff is extremely kind, polite, and helpful. The breakfast is excellent, with quality products and a variety that demonstrates the attention paid to guests: even the wasa were included, a detail that truly makes a difference for those who appreciate a more complete and healthy choice. The superior room we were assigned was very beautiful, tastefully decorated in a classic style with antique furniture. The mattress was extremely comfortable, and we slept wonderfully. We also appreciated the selection of wines and personal care products; we, in particular, purchased two excellent bottles. In short, everything was excellent: comfort, service, quality, and customer care. A stay we recommend without hesitation.
