11/11/2025: I've tried many restaurants in Florence, but Diladdarno is truly unbeatable for me: a selection of ultra-fresh, local products, impeccable technique, creative combinations, and a quality I haven't seen anywhere else (not even in much more expensive restaurants!). So go ahead and order some antipasti, and let yourself be surprised because the entire menu is exceptional! The daily specials add variety, always featuring seasonal ingredients: I've discovered so many new flavors and combinations since I started going there. It's THE restaurant to try if you're curious about good Italian cuisine!

07/11/2025: Honestly, if you're looking for a great place to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine, go for it! From appetizer to dessert, everything was excellent. The menus are translated into several languages, and the staff is very welcoming. The food is homemade, and you'll realize that from the first bite, believe me. I recommend it 100%.

05/12/2025: Overall, it's impossible not to give it five stars. The place is very beautiful, even though I went in the evening; the atmosphere is almost candlelit, very romantic. The staff is super welcoming, smiling, and kind. The food is simple but high-quality. The schiacciatina with tartare and truffle is delicious. The fried steak is their signature dish, although it slightly disappointed my expectations in terms of flavor, but the meat was excellent. Great place.

30/11/2025: We were there last month for my in-laws' 50th birthday. It was a perfect day: we were welcomed by the hostess and then looked after by the wonderful staff. The food was excellent and served quickly. The location is fantastic: in addition to the greenhouse, where you can eat, there's a huge and well-kept garden with a children's area. Ample parking and a super fair price! You can't wait to go back.

25/10/2025: This restaurant really surprised us: even though it's not very well-known, the quality of the dishes is truly top-notch. The tuna tartare was incredibly fresh and excellent, and the lobster linguine deserves special mention, among the best we've ever eaten. Excellent value and extremely friendly service.

05/11/2025: A spacious, welcoming restaurant with professional, yet unobtrusive, and informal service. Excellent dishes. A friend and I had the beef tagliata, which was excellent, as were the side dishes and desserts. The wine list is excellent. I highly recommend it and highly recommend it.

21/10/2025: Warm & atmospheric Osteria recommended by Air BB family I am staying with. Classic and simple menu of well executed Tuscan favourites. Service was super friendly and despite being busy on a Tuesday night, found me a nice table for one. Had the Pici with sausage and truffles which was lovely.

21/10/2025: We stopped for a pasta dish and continued our activities in the center of Florence. That's why I only had pici alla Carbonara (€15) with fried guanciale pieces, which added a kick to the Carbonara sauce, which was too thick with egg. Quality bread and olive oil (€2.50) were served, and a pint of beer (€8) was a definite plus, which lowered the rating.

15/11/2025: The experience was good, but nothing special considering the expectations and the price: The wine was reasonably priced and there was some variety. The peposo was very good, but the portion was quite small for the €22 it costed. The fiorentina (we choose the high-quality “grass-fed” option at €70/kg) wasn’t worth the price. First of all, it lacked marbling. We’ve tried others in the area that were slightly cheaper but had better marbling and flavor. Also, although they do warn that it’s served rare, there were cold pieces, which goes beyond how the dish should be presented. And worst of all, they brought it to the table already sliced, which, in our opinion, is not appropriate for a cut of meat we paid €85 for. In fact—and this is purely our perception—it seemed small for the 1,250 g they claimed it weighed. The accompanying bread wasn’t good, at least not for an establishment of this level. The tiramisu was quite good, but again, the portion was really small for the €8 price. In summary, although the overall quality wasn’t bad, we wouldn’t return. What’s offered clearly doesn’t justify the price. The most striking thing is that they bring the fiorentina to the table already cut, which is hardly appropriate for such an iconic and expensive dish.

I visited while looking for a restaurant near my hotel, and I was completely satisfied with the overall ambiance, service, and quality of the food. Upon opening the door, the first thing I noticed was the soft lighting, classical music, and artwork on the walls. Since reservations are the norm, the dining room is quiet and relaxed, and the staff are friendly and helpful in explaining the menu. It's formal yet comfortable, perfectly embodying the feeling of a "proper dinner in Florence." We started our meal with the Caprese. Fresh mozzarella, ripe tomatoes, and basil, lightly drizzled with olive oil, it was a classic dish that brought out the full flavors of the ingredients. The tomato and basil pasta (Pasta al Pomodoro e Basilico) followed, combining al dente noodles with a fresh tomato sauce for a refreshing, yet not overpowering, flavor. The main course, Risotto ai Gamberi, was a creamy blend of buttery smoothness and shrimp flavor. With every bite, the rich, seafood aromas wafted through, perfectly complementing the Florentine evening atmosphere. The highlight of this restaurant is undoubtedly the T-bone steak, the Bistecca alla Fiorentina. A thick, 2kg steak sizzles on a griddle, and the waiter slices it for you, explaining, "This is Florentine style." The outside is crispy, the inside is medium-rare, and the meat is seasoned with just salt and olive oil, preserving its natural flavor. It's the perfect portion for sharing. We paired it with a bottle of Tuscan red wine. The full-bodied texture and moderate tannins complemented the steak perfectly, allowing us to naturally slow down and unwind from the day's exertion. After dinner, the Florentine night had fully descended, and the Duomo dome loomed faintly through the quiet alleyways. Dinner at Ristorante Belcore wasn't just a simple meal; it was a refined ending to a day in Florence. If you're looking for a cozy dinner in Florence, especially a truly authentic Bistecca alla Fiorentina, this is a place worth visiting.

30/11/2025: What a wonderful place! Perfect for a getaway from the chaos. Since we were there in November, the pool and restaurant were closed, but we still enjoyed the tranquility of the place. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Excellent and varied breakfast, homemade. Everyone was available for advice. We'll definitely be back in the spring/summer!
