20/01/2026: First of all, let me just say the wine list is incredible. There seems like 50 pages to their wine menu. So be prepared to spend a lot of time deciding what you're having for wine. Not a bad problem to have! The dinner options are also extensive. There are so many things to choose from. I am not a vegetarian or vegan but I do enjoy eating meals on occasion without meat. Osteria del Teatro has plenty of options without animal proteins. And I loved when I asked for meatless options, they were completely accommodating and were not at all surprised or offended that I wanted Italian food without meat. The service is excellent and filled with pride. Very patient. My particular server was helpful guiding me on the different types of wines and helping me translate the menu so I didn't have to bring out my phone. A highlight of my meal this night was the baked carmelized onions. Apparently they take 24 hours to prepare. They were immaculate.

18/01/2026: I've been going to this restaurant for many years and it's never disappointed me. Unfortunately, due to its distance, I can't go as often as I'd like. Today we returned and had another wonderful meal. It's nice to be able to say, "Let's go to Cortona and eat at a good restaurant I know," because that rarely happens these days.

15/02/2026: Today we had lunch at the restaurant, and it was a wonderful experience: for the palate (the dishes were prepared by a Michelin-starred chef), for the welcoming and family atmosphere, for the service, and for the delightful company of a pianist who accompanied the meal with sweet notes. Thanks to the Uccellini family and all the staff. A tip for future guests...don't miss Alessandro's rice fritters...a poem.

28/01/2026: We happened to be passing by. Inside the restaurant, the paintings tell a unique story, as do the excellent dishes. The dessert trolley is a wonderful idea, highly recommended.

23/01/2026: Great restaurant and service. All the ancient collections are amazing. Staff is very friendly. Food is traditional with good quality. They serve in a super generous portion. The rooms are old but clean. My colleagues had some issues about water and lights, but I was lucky. They are also very generous on heat. It was super hot when entering the room. Breakfast is included and you can request eggs, coffee apart from what is already prepared on the table. Great value for the service they provide.

08/12/2025: We were there on the weekend of the Immaculate Conception. The courtyard was very beautiful, the food was good, the prices reasonable. Mr. Franco and his staff were very helpful. We will be back.

10/01/2026: My wife and I went on Friday, January 9, 2026. It was our first time there, and everything was good. The Fiorentina was amazing, as was the service and the kindness of the staff. It's just a shame it's far from where we live, since we're coming from Verona. But if we get the chance, we'll definitely come back. Highly recommended.

The food is simply delicious, with carefully prepared dishes that taste authentic. The wine list is excellent, with a wide selection to suit all tastes. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable, perfect for enjoying a quiet meal. Without a doubt, a place to return to again and again. Highly recommended!!!

03/02/2026: Spectacular. Everything was excellent! Including the service. The ragù was incredible, worthy of applause. The artichoke soup was amazing, the fried artichokes were perfect, and the Cinta Senese prosciutto melted in your mouth. Throughout all of this, they were kind, helpful, and classy. Highly recommended!

19/01/2026: Excellent location, as was the food. Traditional dishes. Service not up to par. Needs to be reviewed. The menu lists the specials of the day, so we ordered based on what was listed later at the next table. The waiter described the dishes off the menu to the diners, something he hadn't done with us. So, one of two things: either write all the specials of the day on the menu, or the waiter should tell all the customers, not the ones he likes the most. I repeat, the service needs to be reviewed; something's not right.

27/01/2026: I was on holiday from England amd my friend took me to Pane e Vino. It was one of the best meals I've ever had. Creative dishes such as poached egg in a cheesey sace covered in fresh white truffle as well as classics like antipasti and panna cotta. Lovely knowledgeable owner who spoke great English. Thank you guys
