20/05/2026: There's honestly no better place than Osteria del Teatro. Last Friday, we celebrated with 40 friends in a private room, and it was truly one of the most special lunches we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the whole team welcomed us with so much warmth, kindness and care. Every single person working there made us feel incredibly looked after, and all of our guests kept commenting on how beautiful the space is and how delicious the food was. We even had a baby with us and the team kindly brought her toys to play with and made sure she felt entertained all time. That level of care meant so much to us and says everything about the people behind this place. A huge thank you to everyone at Osteria del Teatro for giving us such a memorable night. We had the best time ever, and this has become such a special yearly tradition for us that we honestly wouldn’t want to celebrate anywhere else ❤️

17/05/2026: Everything was excellent, the prices were spectacular for the taste. I had the stuffed gnocchi, the Chianina beef appetizer, and the Pavlova...I'll definitely be back. The bathroom with the dolls is a little scary 😅

Exceptional ingredients, from local cured meats to carefully crafted pasta dishes, including a superb roast rabbit. A welcoming atmosphere, attentive staff, and impeccable service. An authentic gastronomic experience worth the trip.

03/05/2026: An excellent dining experience at this historic restaurant in Caprese Michelangelo, family-run for decades and offering a very good value. Start with a house platter, accompanied by warm, freshly fried focaccia, a delicious truffle salad, warm soufflés, and fried porcini mushrooms. The first courses are homemade and fully reflect the flavors of the region. Second courses include grilled pork, veal, and lamb, or, for those who prefer, a plate of local cheeses. You can finish on a sweet note with creamy custards, biscotti, or homemade tartlets. Oh... the house wine from nearby Umbria is highly recommended. Much credit to Alfredo, his partner, and their entire staff!

30/04/2026: We went to Cerro for lunch, and had a mixed antipasto and two first courses. The dishes were truly delicious. The hint of porcini mushrooms in the dishes was wonderful! The setting is very beautiful and well-kept.

15/05/2026: Excellent dinner, top-notch staff, Daniele was kind and very hospitable. Excellent value, truly well-cooked food. Relaxed atmosphere, excellent wine selection.

04/04/2026: Asked ChatGPT and this restaurant was recommended based on quality for the price. It was fantastic! Ordered the Gorgonzola Gnocchi and the Grilled Chicken with lemon and capers. Also the glass of Chianti Reserva and Syrah (Cortona) from Arezzo Region was beautiful! My first Syrah from Cortona and it was a bit lighter style but very nice.

03/05/2026: Everything was delicious! I had lunch two days, sitting outside. Homemade food and simple dishes. There's a good variety. I especially appreciated Valentina's service.

07/05/2026: We can't say enough about Ambrosia. This was our second visit to Cortona and our second visit to Ambrosia. Each time the food and service were fantastic. The owner/chef greeted us and spoke with us about the dishes he prepared. We tried the six course chef's dinner and it was fantastic (and we love good food). Highly recommend.
