Despite the crowds, the staff were friendly and efficient. Excellent food in a very pleasant setting.

Il Chianti is a fantastic Tuscan restaurant in the heart of Rome, boasting an unbeatable location and a charming terrace just steps from the Trevi Fountain. The food is authentic and full of flavor—don't miss the prosciutto, which is wonderfully sweet and delicate, or the pappardelle al cinghiale (wild boar ragù), a true Tuscan classic. Be sure to save room for dessert, as the menu offers several excellent options. To end your meal the Tuscan way, enjoy cantucci dipped in Vin Santo, the traditional pairing of almond biscuits and sweet dessert wine. The restaurant is extremely popular and can get very crowded, especially during peak hours, so booking in advance is highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic Tuscan dining experience near the Trevi Fountain.

I'd say it's an average place. We ordered lasagna and ravioli. I can't say they tasted amazing. They came with bread dipped in olive oil beforehand, which was nice. We also had white wine with it, but it was like water.

I have food allergies, and Alex the server in particular made the experience not only enjoyable (even if I didn’t have allergies), but made me and my family feel welcome, with a lovely happy vibe. Would recommend, great food too!

Beautiful restaurant just steps from the Trevi Fountain. Lovely atmosphere, and the best Carbonara and cacio e pepe I've had in Rome. I recommend going if you're in the area. You'll eat very well.

- Apple Cinnamon Steak - Lasagna I ordered both, and they were delicious! Every time I passed by, I thought, "This place is always crowded, day or night," and it turns out this is the place! Hahaha. I went during the day and sat inside where it was a bit cooler, but next time, I want to try sitting outside at night!

Food was not so good. The server left us waiting for a long time. He didn't return to us later to bring the check.
