11/06/2025: Great place for a dinner. Located in the ancient village of Coltano, halfway between Pisa and Livorno. The air you breathe is typical of the Tuscan countryside. The dishes are good and the staff are friendly. Easy parking. Adequate prices.

29/05/2025: At the Rosano shop, you can breathe the air of Florence, even though you are in the countryside. A few kilometers from Florence we are welcomed in a historic shop, where the products on display at the counter immediately activate the taste buds... cured meats, cheeses, delicacies in oil and sweets all typical and representative of the area. In spring you can eat outside under the large pergola while also enjoying the surrounding greenery. A must-see.

07/06/2025: A suprise! The boat sauce pasta although a little on the oily side was just heavenly! Walking in we were a bit hesitant but oh my god dud the pasta change our mind! We ordered second one as I wasn't planning on eating but could not resist!

10/06/2025: Das Essen selbst war gut, die Location ist toll, aber der Service ist unterirdisch. Der Fisch stinkt ja bekanntlich… unsere Kellnerin war offensichtlich neu hier und freundlich, aber die älteren Kolleginnen und Kollegen waren sehr unfreundlich, und brüllten vor den Gästen durchs Lokal. Wir fragten nach einem Aschenbecher und es fehlte nicht viel, dass wir rausgeworfen worden wären. Wir saßen draußen. Nicht schlimm, dass wir nicht am Tisch rauchen durften, aber der Ton macht die Musik. Und der Ton hier ist schlecht.

07/06/2025: Ottimo. Mi sono trovata a cercare un posto da sola all'ultimo munito, e devo dire che l'osteria ha risposto a tutte le mie richieste ed aspettative. Vera cucina Toscana. Lampredotto da 10 e lode. Ambiente accogliente e tranquillo. Ci tornerò.

01/06/2025: Trattoria con tipici piatti toscani semplici e genuini, ho apprezzato molto la qualità della carne. Da assaggiare i dolci, fatti giornalmente sul posto, come tutto il resto, ogni giorno un menù diverso. Il locale piccolo ma accogliente, ricorda molto le taverne di una volta con i piatti della giornata scritti su una lavagnetta. Servizio impeccabile, di un giovane cameriere molto professionale e d educato. Ci tornerò e lo consiglio veramente.

09/06/2025: Wollten hier etwas zu Abend essen. Leider hat uns der Service so gekonnt ignoriert und lieber auf seinem Smartphone herumgetippt, dass es nicht dazugekommen ist. Grandiose Frechheit!

19/05/2025: In a fine and tasteful environment, Osteria Rossini offers dishes of the highest level with an 'ancient' and homely flavour Homemade pasta, quality meat and typical Tuscan products provide the backdrop to a tasteful experience. Very kind and patient staff even in 'difficult' cases. Reservations are mandatory and you will be pleasantly surprised even when it comes to the bill. Excellent

13/05/2025: On the positive side, the food is very good. Pleasantly surprised. It looks like a truck stop, but with the added bonus of quality products. The service is acceptable, even if we might miss a waiter in jogging pants. The rest is ambiguous: no menu, so no prices, and no restaurant bill. And strangely, no dessert!

05/06/2025: Authentic Italian shop. Mainly visited by locals. Delicious food, friendly staff and good service. Wanted to share a starter and the different dishes were served on different plates. Then you really go the extra mile for your customers. Too bad it's remote. If it had been in a more central location, this place would have been completely full every night.

14/03/2024: Mattinata tra le meraviglie di Cortona, coronata da un pranzo notevole al Cacciatore. Cosa c'è di meglio che rifugiarsi lì, affamati, in una giornata piovosa e freddina? Accolti da antipasti toscani, ottimo vino consigliato dalla nostra amica sommelier che ci accompagnava, ribollita, pappa col pomodoro e chianina eccezionali! Servizio efficiente e cordiale

11/06/2025: Elegant place in a truly suggestive location. Menu with a wide choice and truly exquisite meats cooked with skill. Service very attentive to the customer without being invasive. A place that deserves every cent of the bill and where it is worth the expense to return.

09/06/2025: Excellent value for money! Typical Tuscan cuisine (excellent tartare, excellent lamb, delicious eggplant parmesan!!!), competent service, and a wonderful atmosphere in the garden. Luca Zamperini from the Poggio Grande organic winery recommended it; his excellent Scorbutico wine perfectly complemented the meal.

08/06/2025: We found this place from the osteria 2025 app, which I would recommend to all Italy travelers. We were a party of three and had a truly spectacular evening. You should definitely try the lampredotto, a florentine delicacy made from the tender stomach of cattle.
