We came here specifically to try horse meat, and overall it was a great experience. The service was friendly, the staff welcoming, and the portions were very generous. The meat was tasty and of good quality. One thing to keep in mind though: if you order your steak medium rare, it will likely come out closer to rare — so it’s worth asking for one level more done if that matters to you. Another thing that stood out was how many locals were dining here, which usually says a lot about the quality and authenticity of a place. Definitely worth a visit.

This evening we had dinner at this restaurant/pizzeria. We ate outside, always accompanied by our Maggie. We chose it because we wanted pizza, but while ordering, the owner told us that unfortunately the pizza chef wasn't available. So we opted for two grilled meats, one pork and one horse. Delicious!!! We're glad we didn't have pizza. The portion was huge!
We also had a mixed fried dish (2 potato balls, 2 arancini with meat sauce, 2 mozzarella in carrozza, and 6 onion rings) for an appetizer. As always, we had 1 liter of water, two 33 ml cans of Coke, and two espressos. We paid €24.50 per person. I recommend it!

We took advantage of a super offer including a large platter of cured meats, mixed grill and potatoes, and two glasses of wine for €40. Everything was delicious and, of course, plentiful 😋. Very friendly staff.

"Highly recommended restaurant! I really appreciated both the quality of the food and the courtesy of the staff. Each dish was carefully prepared, and you could sense the care taken in choosing the ingredients. The atmosphere is clean, welcoming, and well-organized, ideal for a pleasant evening in good company. The service was punctual and always available to satisfy every request. The quality-price ratio was also excellent. Definitely one of the best restaurants in the area, I will be back with great pleasure."

great food, service, and price. Seemed dead when we walked past but slowly locals kept coming in. It is clearly a local favorite. would 100% recommend. The staff were super attentive yet gave us their space and very friendly. Nice location around the castle.
