Here at this "True" Osteria, we return to simplicity.
You can tell right from the wild fennel topped with breadcrumbs that Chef Sebastiano is a culinary genius... simple dishes yet rich in tradition, featuring ingredients from the home's own spontaneous vegetable garden.
All, of course, seasoned with excellent extra virgin olive oil.

I was passing through and booked a table for two for a quick lunch: two mixed meats that seemed like two bites, too basic for a main course, a side of potatoes, and a beer.
€45 was outrageous.

I had the best cannoli I’ve ever tasted at this traditional Sicilian osteria. The atmosphere feels authentic, warm, and welcoming, just like a small local place in Sicily.
The cannoli were perfect: crisp shells filled fresh with light, creamy ricotta that wasn’t overly sweet — beautifully balanced and truly homemade in taste.

A genuine trattoria in one of the most beautiful villages in the Hyblaean Mountains. The Formica brothers have divided the duties since opening: Pippo takes care of the dining room, explaining the dishes Sebastiano prepares in the kitchen, featuring a generous use of wild vegetables, unique cuts of meat like lattuchedda, and delicious tripe. The pappardelle with mountain truffles, bianchetto, and scorzone are unmissable.

A trattoria serving authentic, traditional dishes, cooked to perfection. I don't recommend the local wine. The atmosphere is welcoming. Highly recommended.

We visited this restaurant for Epiphany, not our first time. I have to say, unfortunately, it has declined. There were eight of us, and the appetizers were very meager, not enough for everyone. The first courses were okay, but we didn't like them (clearly a matter of personal preference). We shared the second courses in pairs, and they weren't bad. There was no Coke available; you could only have water, wine, and 25cl soda. €35 per person. I don't think we'll be back.
