23/10/2025: Magnificent! We popped in by chance this lunchtime. A menu featuring fresh seafood, daily specials, and perfectly prepared original dishes—we all had a blast! Special mention goes to the sardine meatballs and the spaghetti with bottarga and shrimp carpaccio.

11/11/2025: A family-run, homey trattoria with impeccable service. Their specialty is fish. We enjoyed excellent Sicilian-style sea bass and sea bass with lemon! The service is flawless, especially the maître d', a true professional. The tables are very comfortable, several of them round, and they have one for groups of up to 10 people. The wine list is also very good.

30/06/2025: In zona centrale, entriamo per puro caso, ambiente accogliente, accolti un sorriso, prendiamo due pizze (dai nomi legati alla tradizione letterale sicula). Che dire: fantastiche. Ottima farcitura, impasto soffice e leggero (sinonimo di una adeguata lievitazione), leggera alveatura, cornice elastica e pronta al ritorno. Veramente buone, complimenti. Servizio rapido, prezzi nella norma. Bellissima esperienza.

07/11/2025: It's late afternoon. My colleagues are working on the computer while I, fresh from a life-changing experience that altered my physical perceptions, am intent on writing my opinions on this place called "Menza." I'll begin this review by specifying that I'm a traveler and that this isn't my first time here, but my second. In fact, I think that to gain a clear understanding of anything, you need to try it at least a second time. When you're talking about an experience that overturns everything you thought you knew about life, that makes your certainties collapse like a house of cards, well, in this case, twice is definitely not enough. But I'll do my best to be as clear as possible. The restaurant staff is courteous, and the wait for pizzas is very short compared to most pizzerias I've been to on my long, hungry travels. The pizzas are delicious, the toppings are exquisite, and the sauce is probably made by pressing tomatoes freshly picked in the Field of Eden. The fries are so good that if a colleague of mine were being attacked in the restaurant bathroom, I'd continue eating them without any guilt, rather than step in and save him. The crust, often overlooked in traditional pizzerias, here is excellent even for dipping in the on-site water, available free of charge in the bathroom on the first floor. Regarding the first floor, I have a whole note to write. In fact, upon arriving at this level, which at first glance resembles the dining room on the Titanic, we notice how physical perceptions begin to become distorted, the air appears almost still, and shadows begin to dance in the dim light. Exploring the floor, we can also see a door leading to another dimension, similar to a field of grass stretching to the horizon, where humans and pizzas coexist peacefully, in an idyllic and serene world. We can see women strolling around holding a Margherita pizza, a devil carrying a baby in a stroller, and so on. The only downside: ten of us entered, and nine of us left. We don't know where one of our friends ended up, but we suspect the pizza oven had something to do with it.

05/10/2025: I went to La Corte dei Mangioni last night. There were 19 of us, including the kids. A very negative note: we had a reservation for 9:30 PM, and after finally getting seated and ordering, the food was served at 11:25 PM...it was appalling, especially for the kids who couldn't take it anymore. Plus, they didn't serve all the dishes at once. The pizza was good. As for the sandwiches, we had higher expectations, but instead, we were disappointed. The same goes for the seasoned potatoes. Add to that the fact that, after waiting two hours, some sandwiches arrived burnt and others raw inside...well, it wasn't the best!!! They offered to remake them, but that would have meant waiting I don't know how long, and honestly, NO!!!! To all this, I must unfortunately add the lack (very little) of courtesy from the girl who served us; she even seemed annoyed and very rude... I'd say politeness comes first! Then, if you understand that people wait two hours for food, at least try to be a little polite and courteous. We definitely won't be returning!!!

01/10/2025: Inedible Angus steak, served on a hot cutting board that splattered oil all over, mediocre tiramisu... mediocre service. I don't understand how they hold up the 4.5 stars... avoid.

28/10/2025: Friendly welcome. There were five of us and all the dishes we chose were tasty and generous.

28/10/2025: We dined outside on a street overlooked by stunning baroque balconies, but the interior is also very beautiful and evocative. The table service is professional, courteous, and friendly. The dishes we ate were delicious. The highlight of the first course is the fresh pasta; we had ravioli with ricotta cheese and pork sauce, and macaroni with veal meatballs. For the second course, there was a mixed grill and a boneless grilled chicken leg. The wine selection was also excellent. A surprise was the opportunity to visit the family museum on the first floor, featuring period objects, furniture, and clothing, and a small balcony from which to photograph the street from above. We returned two evenings.

15/11/2025: Alberto is a great host. That's about it. The food we had was truly awful. Taglierini with seafood, expensive and tasteless. Salt and spices were completely missing. It tasted only of oil and frozen seafood. The rest was also boring. Not attractively presented. The house red wine was cheap, but unfortunately still expensive. We also had the "pleasure" of having breakfast there. Even Aldi has stopped stocking such cheap, low-quality ham. (Or sold it to Italy.) Industrial cakes and the cheapest jam in plastic packets. How about some fresh orange juice? In the land of oranges, especially now during harvest season? Or a jar of regular marmalade instead of that colored jelly?

20/10/2025: Delicious food! I really recommend that place. Fantastic Sicilian atmosphere, great service, and again… delicious food :) amazing!

29/10/2025: Restaurant on the Castello Ursino square. Large and welcoming atmosphere, with a spacious outdoor patio. The pizza was excellent, as was the pasta alla norma. Extensive appetizer buffet.

01/12/2025: We were a party of 14 and the restaurant did an amazing job accommodating us. They helped us chose the food and everything was amazing: food, wines, and service.

23/11/2025: I’ve never felt this kind of disappointment before. I came with high expectations, even prepared myself to skip a proper breakfast in Palermo so I could enjoy this meal. But the reality was far from what I imagined — the oil and bread ended up being the only things that felt like real food in this lunch. Definitely not the experience I was hoping for. Nothing is better than me. Sono arrival with a large aspettative, person rinunciando a una buona colazione in Palermo for goodermi questo pranzo. The real estate has a status that is different from the image: the phone and the pane so that the unit stays in the same place as the next one in the past. It doesn't feel like anything else. I have never been so disappointed before. I came with high expectations, even preparing myself to skip a good breakfast in Palermo in order to enjoy this lunch. But reality was quite different from what I expected—oil and bread were the only things that could be considered real food in this meal. Definitely not the experience I was looking for.

10/07/2025: A must-see every year!! Their couscous is spectacular; in addition to the generous portions, it's packed with fresh seafood. The staff is knowledgeable, excellent service, and friendly. I recommend it!!

12/10/2025: I'm Grazia, Marinella's "annoying" cousin, I'm from Messina and I ate the focaccia which from 1 to 10 for me is ten with honors. I recommend anyone who is on holiday in Letojanni to come and taste your dishes where you will be welcomed by Teresa who is an excellent hostess, welcoming, kind and smiling, see you next time

26/10/2025: We stopped for lunch, and even though it was late, they happily gave us a table. The menu features dishes based on the catch of the day, excellent quality, and very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

09/10/2025: We had a wonderful meal. The set menu included many tasty seafood appetizers, two seafood starters, and a mixed fish main course, all excellent and reasonably priced. The location is very central. The staff is friendly and the place is beautiful. Highly recommended.
