27/11/2025: I visited the restaurant. Warm decor, tables in different areas, all with cloth napkins! Delicious bread to enjoy while waiting, excellent service, and delicious, typical Sicilian food. Wide selection of wines, and prices in line with its touristy and central location.

19/11/2025: Fresh fish and impeccable cuisine, not to mention the friendliness and care with which they treat the customers. Congratulations, I will gladly return soon 💪

18/11/2025: Such a letdown! This place was highly recommended, but I failed to see why. We ordered the meal of the day (pistachio pasta), and it took over an hour to get it despite the restaurant not being busy. The pasta was completely bland, too soggy, and I found crushed pistachio shelves in my dish. The shrimp in the pasta was overcooked and tiny. With such prices (26€ for the pasta dish) I expected much better. The waiter also brought the wrong wine - it wouldn't have been an issue, but with such bad food and the long wait, it added to the negative experience. The only positive thing was the bread and the olive oil - it was superb. But overall, it was not a good experience.

16/12/2025: We ordered pizza: Parmigiana Margherita and Capricciosa. All were delicious and well-seasoned. There's no cover charge, but there's a 15% service charge, so the more you spend, the more you pay.

03/11/2025: A charming place, with a beautiful panoramic view, which makes everything romantic and stunning. The food is excellent, the dishes have immense flavor and are cooked and presented with great care. The entire staff is professional, kind, and attentive to the guests and their needs. The place is also super clean, which in my opinion highlights all the positive aspects of this place even more. Highly recommended.

23/10/2025: La Taverna dell'Etna is one of those places that captures your heart even before your palate. Situated in a breathtaking panoramic location, it offers a spectacular view of Mount Etna and the sea that alone is worth the visit. But it's when the food arrives that you realize you're in a truly special place. The cuisine is authentic, carefully prepared, and based on excellent quality ingredients, carefully selected and treated with respect. The staff is extremely friendly. In short, La Taverna dell'Etna is a place where the view enchants, the cuisine excites, and the hospitality makes you want to return. A little gem at the foot of the volcano. 🌋🍷

03/01/2026: A terrible choice for a meal in Catania. They call a plate of lettuce, with no presentation and no other vegetables, a vegetable salad. The service was expensive and bad.

04/02/2026: We went to this restaurant and had a terrible experience. The carbonara was inedible: clearly no cheese, just egg thrown over the pasta, completely curdled, like an omelette, and completely tasteless. It was anything but carbonara. As if that weren't enough, we found insects on our plate in the seafood pasta. This was a very serious matter. When we reported it, the owner responded rudely, arrogantly, and presumptuously, even accusing us of putting flies on our plate and claiming that the carbonara was "made according to the rules" (if that's the rule, then yes... it was an omelette). Furthermore, the prices were exorbitantly high for this extremely poor quality. Zero professionalism, zero respect for the customer, and the food was terrible. Absolutely avoid.

04/03/2026: I don't understand why some restaurants get negative reviews. Buatta made me feel very welcome on both of my visits. Aside from the excellent food, I'd like to commend the hosts on both evenings. They were incredibly friendly and attentive, with a hands-on approach. I really appreciated that. The heart of any restaurant is always the kitchen, and they did a fantastic job. The appetizers—Focaccia "Sfincione," Caponata, Fish Sausage, Anelletti with Meat Ragout, Handmade Ravioli, and the Sardines "a Beccafico"—were all absolutely delicious. For dessert, be sure to try the Almond Parfait "Noto" or the Cassata. Unfortunately, they don't have a house wine, but the wine available by the glass is also very well-made, delicious, and reasonably priced. Thank you, dear Buatta team, for the wonderful evenings and the excellent service. Keep up the great work!

27/02/2026: Nice place, food is good, I took ravioli, it was nice, but I don’t like slices of meat on them

03/10/2025: We followed the Routard's advice. The restaurant is now called Aurora, and we understand that there's a continuity with the previous one. In any case, the comments still apply: it's very good, fresh, and fairly priced. We really enjoyed the bruschetta with fish and shrimp tartare, then the spaghetti alla vongole (delicious sauce!) and the pasta with tuna and bottarga. Several of the guests were island residents, which is a very good sign. Friendly service. Thank you very much!

18/09/2025: I ordered a portion of tuna with sweet and sour sauce. The portion was quite small, the sauce excellent - I had to wait for the bread that the staff forgot to bring; the tuna did not seem fresh...

17/09/2025: Pizzeria restaurant near the sea, good pizza

14/09/2025: The food is average. When we arrived, the waitress greeted us without a smile. Afterward, there was a bit of an argument between the waiters. For a pizza, mussel soup, a chicken skewer, and a sparkling water, it cost 40 euros. Neither cheap nor excessively expensive.

30/01/2026: I often go to Don Turiddu 2. Good ingredients and very reasonable prices. The service is always top-notch. I would suggest adding a homemade dessert to the menu (such as tiramisu) and revising some of the less-than-perfect details of the location, if possible. It's still a place I absolutely recommend.

26/10/2025: We stopped for lunch, and even though it was late, they happily gave us a table. The menu features dishes based on the catch of the day, excellent quality, and very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

06/01/2026: Overall, an average experience. The staff was friendly and the food was good. I found the portions a bit small; I would have expected more, especially considering the price, which certainly isn't cheap, and the type of place. It's still worth a visit.

02/08/2025: Siamo rimasti incantati da questo ristorante. L'accoglienza del titolare, la gentilezza dei ragazzi che servono ai tavoli, il menù così invitante, la qualità del cibo e le porzioni davvero generose. Una ulteriore nota di merito per la cantina con bottiglie di qualità e con ricarico assolutamente accettabile rispetto al prezzo da scaffale. Che dire... Osteria Cavallo a Favignana mai più senza!

29/07/2025: ristorante un po' fuori dal paese ma comunque bello, accogliente e rilassante. ho cenato per due sere, cibo ottimo e di qualità . piatti della tradizione rivisitati in modo eccellente.

12/10/2025: I'm Grazia, Marinella's "annoying" cousin, I'm from Messina and I ate the focaccia which from 1 to 10 for me is ten with honors. I recommend anyone who is on holiday in Letojanni to come and taste your dishes where you will be welcomed by Teresa who is an excellent hostess, welcoming, kind and smiling, see you next time
