07/03/2026: Great place to stop at Castelomora. Wife had rigatonni with sausage. Was very good. I had the cuberoll di scattona con palate. Cooked very good and had a red onion basil olive oil sauce. Excellent meal. Service is good and view is beautiful from up this high on the mountain top. Highly recommend if in Castelomola.
03/11/2025: A charming place, with a beautiful panoramic view, which makes everything romantic and stunning. The food is excellent, the dishes have immense flavor and are cooked and presented with great care.
The entire staff is professional, kind, and attentive to the guests and their needs.
The place is also super clean, which in my opinion highlights all the positive aspects of this place even more.
Highly recommended.

01/10/2025: Good service from the waiters. Good pasta. Apparently, I'm not the only one who was a bit disappointed by the dish of the day and surprised to pay €25 for four paltry tuna meatballs, which were offered as a starter of the day and then paid for as a main course. They may be good (more flavorful elsewhere, in my opinion), but the dish wasn't worth €25, especially when presented like that without any clear instructions or price. The owner wasn't very attentive on this point, but simply continued to say that the tuna was special. The bread served was old and rubbery.
29/09/2025: All good, but perhaps it would be appropriate to disclose the price of off-menu items in advance. We had an appetizer and two first courses, a bottle of water, and a glass of wine for €95, of which the off-menu tuna meatballs alone cost €25.

10/06/2025: A small, family-run restaurant with a very helpful and friendly owner. Great prices and a good selection of items, both at the counter and à la carte. They even have a small dining room where you can dine without the crowds of people at the bar. Excellent!

04/04/2026: Excellent service, very friendly staff, but unfortunately the food was a huge disappointment. The appetizer selection cost €20, a steal for what they serve. A baked pumpkin in vinegar, two sardines in beccafico sauce, and the caponata were disappointing. The baked pasta wasn't even warm; the only thing worth mentioning were the sardines in beccafico sauce, which were delicious. And finally, the cannoli had a very hard crust and the ricotta was overly sweet, nothing like a true Sicilian cannoli. Unfortunately, the kitchen wasn't very efficient; most of the food came pre-cooked.

Service wise it was perfect, the personnel was prepared, very nice and welcoming.
Food was just average therefore we were a bit disappointed considering the hype around this place. Nothing memorable.
For dessert we had the cannolo, but it was way too sweet.

15/03/2026: A genuine trattoria in one of the most beautiful villages in the Hyblaean Mountains. The Formica brothers have divided the duties since opening: Pippo takes care of the dining room, explaining the dishes Sebastiano prepares in the kitchen, featuring a generous use of wild vegetables, unique cuts of meat like lattuchedda, and delicious tripe. The pappardelle with mountain truffles, bianchetto, and scorzone are unmissable.
07/03/2026: A trattoria serving authentic, traditional dishes, cooked to perfection. I don't recommend the local wine. The atmosphere is welcoming. Highly recommended.

02/04/2026: I'm not sure why there are negative reviews at all! We really enjoyed our dinner here. Everything was tasty, but the paccheri alla nonna and caponata stood out. The portions are massive so be prepared!

The food was top-quality, with carefully crafted and flavorful dishes that delighted the students. We teachers, in particular, greatly appreciated the excellent seafood served. A perfect place for an unforgettable group meal. Highly recommended!

14/09/2025: While on vacation in Sicily, we saw this restaurant along the road to Modica. The sign says "traditional cuisine," so we stopped in. It was a great experience. We returned every night we were in Modica. We took their advice and tried a few different dishes, including the pizza. All the food was excellent. The owners are friendly, kind, and attentive to their customers. We had a great time. They also gave us advice on what to try and see in Modica. Well done, keep up the good work. Highly recommended.
Friendly and helpful staff.
I returned for a (delicious) pizza under the moonlight with the sea in front.
What more could you ask for?
Even today, after spending a lovely evening with friends (October 23, 2025), I can only confirm what I previously wrote about this enchanting place.

30/01/2026: I often go to Don Turiddu 2.
Good ingredients and very reasonable prices. The service is always top-notch. I would suggest adding a homemade dessert to the menu (such as tiramisu) and revising some of the less-than-perfect details of the location, if possible. It's still a place I absolutely recommend.
26/10/2025: We stopped for lunch, and even though it was late, they happily gave us a table. The menu features dishes based on the catch of the day, excellent quality, and very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

25/03/2026: The service needs rethinking. Only one person takes orders, takes care of the wine, and manages the cash register. The waiters only serve the dishes; any request required waiting for the meter to be free, resulting in long waits, partly due to the slowness of the kitchen. There was a gluten-free option at our table, and they didn't have bread/crackers or dessert. This is unacceptable today. The wine list wasn't up to date; both of the two wines we requested were missing. The food is good quality, but it's not enough to leave a lasting impression and make you want to return.
21/03/2026: We ate wonderfully! The appetizers were excellent, and the grilled octopus was exceptional.

05/04/2026: The atmosphere and the place are nice, typical of a trattoria. It's a shame about the food. We ordered three dishes, but only one was good (busiate pasta with eggplant sauce), while the other two were inedible. The orange-flavored fish scallop seemed overcooked and tasteless, and the pasta with fennel and sardines was equally so. It seemed very touristy and not very good for people who want to eat well!
