15/07/2026: I honestly don’t even know what to write… For two evenings in a row, we tried calling to make a reservation, but no one spoke English, and they kept hanging up on us. In the end, we made a dinner reservation through Google. We arrived on time, but we were simply turned away. Again, no one spoke English, and when we explained that we had a reservation, they just gestured with their hands and essentially told us to leave. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I can’t recommend this place.

12/10/2025: I'm Grazia, Marinella's "annoying" cousin, I'm from Messina and I ate the focaccia which from 1 to 10 for me is ten with honors. I recommend anyone who is on holiday in Letojanni to come and taste your dishes where you will be welcomed by Teresa who is an excellent hostess, welcoming, kind and smiling, see you next time

Wonderful venue, air-conditioned, clean, beautiful both inside and out, and the staff was incredibly helpful, kind, and super professional. The owner, A GENTLEMAN. ABSOLUTELY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

05/04/2026: The atmosphere and the place are nice, typical of a trattoria. It's a shame about the food. We ordered three dishes, but only one was good (busiate pasta with eggplant sauce), while the other two were inedible. The orange-flavored fish scallop seemed overcooked and tasteless, and the pasta with fennel and sardines was equally so. It seemed very touristy and not very good for people who want to eat well!

10/10/2025: We stayed in Noto for three nights and ended up dining at Tannur every night. The ingredients were top-quality and presented with exquisite elegance. The chef, whom we met, was a true professional who accommodated all our requests. The place is beautiful and clean, with a family atmosphere, starting with the owner Corrado, his mother, and the talented, friendly, and knowledgeable waiter Stefano. Highly recommended!

06/10/2025: Wow! Such a delicious fresh meal at a family restaurant! The special ravioli was amazing! Pasta Norma was so hot and delicious. Fresh crisp green salad and yummy octopus salad too! A great suggestion from our sgent...a local spot for sure!!

03/07/2026: If you want to eat authentic Palermo food, with fast, local service, this is the perfect place.

05/06/2026: The staff were excellent and attentive, and the swordfish was truly delicious. Unfortunately, we couldn't enjoy the garden, but it was a superb dinner (a rare find in this area) which we were able to walk to from our B&B.

03/06/2026: After booking for 8.15pm we arrived on time, we ordered and the place was almost empty. At 9.30pm the place was full, everyone was eating and we were waiting, after 2 reminders they brought appetizers for 2 (decent) at 10.10pm, the first course spaghetti with clams (but really only empty shells and very salty) and then a very poor mixed fried food, total 105 Euros without dessert and coffee. They only apologized with a 10 Euro discount. I'm sorry but that's how it is [wine 15 Euros

17/07/2026: Despite having eaten well, the disappointment was the exorbitantly high bill! Be careful when they list numerous off-menu dishes without listing the prices, which are significantly higher than those listed on the menu: paying €30 for each fish entree is outrageous. Also be careful about the service charge: they add 10% of the bill without this being listed on the menu, instead of the cover charge. I disputed the bill in its entirety, and the restaurant applied a small reduction, admitting the error. However, Sardinian prices are out of place in Porticello, so much so that the restaurant only had limited seating, and we, for one, won't be returning.

17/11/2025: We called and emailed to book a table, but nothing. We stopped by yesterday, Sunday, November 16, 2025, at 2:00 PM, and were saddened to see with our own eyes that the Lumie restaurant in Sicily NO LONGER EXISTS!!! CLOSED PERMANENTLY. Say NO!!!

28/04/2026: I wasn't complaining, I went alone, or ordered, immediately the first course, not even the time to try the second course straight away, so on, or I ate a little and left, I'm sorry, I'll never go again

26/04/2026: A very beautiful, characteristic place located at the entrance to the village. The staff was courteous, but they didn't bring us a menu, so we weren't sure what to order and the prices. At the table, there was only the wine list. They recommended either the full menu or starting with appetizers and then continuing with first and second courses if we wanted to continue. We had two meat menus and one fish menu. The meat menu's appetizers were a bit disappointing, especially because there were very few hot dishes, and there were many cured meats and cheeses that you can easily eat at home whenever you want. The fish-based first courses were good, the two meat-based ones were good, and one was left over: penne with pepper, a sort of creamy cheese and pancetta dish. The pasta was overcooked, not to mention the sauce. They didn't explain the dishes they were bringing to the staff. We asked several times what the dish contained or what the ingredients were, and their response was, "Now ask in the kitchen." Several waiters kept coming by to ask us the same thing. As soon as we sat down, three of them asked us if we wanted water, even though we'd already said yes to the first waiter. It's better to ask more than not to be served. But I had the feeling of disorganization. Be careful if you order the shrimp, they're in their casings. I honestly don't know if I'd recommend it or go back. Maybe I'd recommend it to someone who wants to eat fish.

22/05/2026: The terrace's prime location, including the sunset views, is the restaurant's highlight. Friendly service. Good food.

19/05/2026: I went today for a quick bite to eat with my family. Even though there were very few people (us and a group of four who left almost immediately), the service was very slow. The fault lies with a waiter (older, half-bald), who wasted his time chatting with a local guide and who, in the end, reluctantly served me, as if he were doing me a favor. I asked if he could kindly wrap up some food we hadn't eaten and would take home. The only response was to get some special boxes and sort it out myself. When it came time to pay, I found the aforementioned waiter stuffing himself with scraps of food. Visibly annoyed, he stuffed the last bits into his mouth and came to the cashier. I WILL NEVER GO BACK AND I WILL RECOMMEND EVERYONE I KNOW NOT TO COME HERE TO EAT!

18/05/2026: A €3 cover charge for a €3 sandwich is unacceptable...I can understand this price for a restaurant, but not for a sandwich shop...Last experience at this place...
