I recommend anyone who is on holiday in Letojanni to come and taste your dishes where you will be welcomed by Teresa who is an excellent hostess, welcoming, kind and smiling, see you next time

30/01/2026: I often go to Don Turiddu 2. Good ingredients and very reasonable prices. The service is always top-notch. I would suggest adding a homemade dessert to the menu (such as tiramisu) and revising some of the less-than-perfect details of the location, if possible. It's still a place I absolutely recommend.

24/04/2026: The food is excellent, nothing to complain about, but unfortunately the service is extremely disorganized. After a first evening experience last year where, due to the extremely long waiting times, we asked at a certain point not to bring us any more dishes that hadn't arrived, we gave the restaurant a second chance last Sunday. We arrived as scheduled at 1:30 PM. I understand the large turnout, I understand the unusual day, but they made us wait an incredibly long time for our order. The desserts arrived at the table at 5 PM! Not even at a wedding! I don't think we'll be back, even though the food is good. They should hire more kitchen staff for busy days, because waiting that long for food isn't an option.

13/11/2025: My wife, I, and some friends went to Il Gabbiano restaurant. We had dinner with various seafood dishes, all rigorously fresh and carefully prepared. The staff was polite and well-prepared, and the owner, Vittorio, and his wife, were truly knowledgeable and very professional. When you're in Capo D'Orlando, go there. We highly recommend it. 05/04/2026: It is with great sadness that I have to leave this place a negative review. Once a respected restaurant, it is abusing its good name and perfidiously defrauding tourists. The overworked staff are mediocre in their communication, and the air is thick with the feeling that they only care about making a quick buck and leaving their table. What deserves the greatest contempt, however, is the perfidious way they are scamming tourists out of money. Besides adding water and bread to the coperto (an additional charge, which the establishment fails to mention), the bill has suddenly increased by 12 euros. Customers receive no receipt or explanation. During payment, the staff evades all questions and accusations, physically avoiding contact. This is a very sad picture of a local restaurant that has become an unethical machine for robbing guests. Avoid this place at all costs.

05/04/2026: Overall, 2 stars for the food. It was really good. But the place itself leaves much to be desired. The atmosphere was tense, the waiters were offended, and they brought us things we didn't order. In the end, they ripped us off for almost 10 euros, and the man at the counter stopped understanding English. He actually stopped answering any questions and pretended I wasn't standing in front of him. I don't recommend it, because the aftertaste after a visit can even kill the taste of decent food.

10/10/2025: We stayed in Noto for three nights and ended up dining at Tannur every night. The ingredients were top-quality and presented with exquisite elegance. The chef, whom we met, was a true professional who accommodated all our requests. The place is beautiful and clean, with a family atmosphere, starting with the owner Corrado, his mother, and the talented, friendly, and knowledgeable waiter Stefano. Highly recommended!

06/10/2025: Wow! Such a delicious fresh meal at a family restaurant! The special ravioli was amazing! Pasta Norma was so hot and delicious. Fresh crisp green salad and yummy octopus salad too! A great suggestion from our sgent...a local spot for sure!!

26/04/2026: A very beautiful, characteristic place located at the entrance to the village. The staff was courteous, but they didn't bring us a menu, so we weren't sure what to order and the prices. At the table, there was only the wine list. They recommended either the full menu or starting with appetizers and then continuing with first and second courses if we wanted to continue. We had two meat menus and one fish menu. The meat menu's appetizers were a bit disappointing, especially because there were very few hot dishes, and there were many cured meats and cheeses that you can easily eat at home whenever you want. The fish-based first courses were good, the two meat-based ones were good, and one was left over: penne with pepper, a sort of creamy cheese and pancetta dish. The pasta was overcooked, not to mention the sauce. They didn't explain the dishes they were bringing to the staff. We asked several times what the dish contained or what the ingredients were, and their response was, "Now ask in the kitchen." Several waiters kept coming by to ask us the same thing. As soon as we sat down, three of them asked us if we wanted water, even though we'd already said yes to the first waiter. It's better to ask more than not to be served. But I had the feeling of disorganization. Be careful if you order the shrimp, they're in their casings. I honestly don't know if I'd recommend it or go back. Maybe I'd recommend it to someone who wants to eat fish.

24/06/2025: The people who serve at the cash register are all really very good and dedicated to the service. The girls at the bar counter are always polite. They care and spend themselves to give an excellent service to the customers. You can find excellent products and advice for the tobacconist. I don't know their names but a very kind and not tall girl has skills that are difficult to replicate in the service. Congratulations because you can see that they are all really good. The added value of the business is them in all respects.
