17/09/2025: Excellent dining experience. We found this restaurant by chance while walking back from the Botanical Gardens. So pleased we went in. The food and service were excellent. Quality of the food was outstanding. Best food we have had in Palermo. Beautiful setting as well. I would highly recommend.

02/09/2025: Located behind Piazza Marina, off the beaten path, this family-run restaurant was a real surprise! The interior is meticulously designed, the staff is friendly and very professional, and, above all, the food is delicious! From the outside, it seems more pretentious than it actually is: prices are in line with the city, and only if you choose a special wine or the off-menu catch of the day can they rise! The tartare of raw shrimp with bottarga is delicious! The first courses are delicious! The only flaw is the limited dessert selection (usually cannoli and tiramisu).

03/10/2025: We followed the Routard's advice. The restaurant is now called Aurora, and we understand that there's a continuity with the previous one. In any case, the comments still apply: it's very good, fresh, and fairly priced. We really enjoyed the bruschetta with fish and shrimp tartare, then the spaghetti alla vongole (delicious sauce!) and the pasta with tuna and bottarga. Several of the guests were island residents, which is a very good sign. Friendly service. Thank you very much!

18/09/2025: I ordered a portion of tuna with sweet and sour sauce. The portion was quite small, the sauce excellent - I had to wait for the bread that the staff forgot to bring; the tuna did not seem fresh...

14/10/2025: Terrible experience, but the views were breathtaking. The waiter was very attentive, and the owner or manager is the perfect person to keep customers from coming back… of course, being a tourist town with no regular clientele, he couldn't care less… and the person sitting next to him at the register is just another piece of furniture that looks out of place in the restaurant. Politeness and customer-facing work are a far cry from them. Typical of a business that likes to take advantage of tourism.

05/05/2025: La comida era pobre y el pescado estaba demasiado cocido y las verduras a la parrilla estaban frías. Tienen un letrero Michelin en la ventana, pero debe haber sido un chef diferente. El restaurante está muy bien decorado y el personal proporcionó un buen servicio.

06/10/2025: First visit and an immediate excellent impression: friendly and professional staff, impeccably fresh fish, and top-notch raw seafood. The sea view is also splendid, enhancing the experience. The wine recommendation was spot on: a truly successful dry Zibibbo from Case Bianche. The grilled fish is among the best I've ever tasted. 17/06/2025: Teníamos grandes esperanzas para este restaurante, pero nos fuimos sintiéndonos decepcionados. Si bien el personal era amable y atento, los platos carecían de variedad de sabor, todo sabía bastante similar, a pesar de que se utilizaban diferentes tipos de pescado. Otra decepción fue el enfoque de servicio: cada elección que hicimos se encontró con el mismo genérico “¡Gran elección!” sin ninguna recomendación real o información sobre el menú. El escenario es simple y sin pretensiones, lo cual no nos importa, pero la factura final se sintió empinada considerando la calidad y creatividad de la comida. En comparación con otros restaurantes de la zona, que son más refinados y cuidadosos en cada detalle, este no estuvo a la altura.

Lei cortese, precisa, professionale ha il polso della serata, aleggiando tra gli ospiti con precisione femminile. Lui, un Poseidone uscito dal mare nuota tra le onde della cucina, rimestando e definendo le prelibatezze che lo hanno ispirato, e il vintage dei tavoli che raccontano di domeniche in famiglia, di legami fatti di sangue e sudore, sensazioni, pensieri, ricordi, insomma un racconto, di cibo e non solo. È la storia di una persona, un popolo, una terra, come la Sicilia che, più di tante altre, merita di essere narrata. Il menù è attraente, identitario. Leggi le portate e intuisci che farai un viaggio. Potrai attraversare la Sicilia da Palermo a Trapani fino a Siracusa e non ti pentirai della scelta fatta. Bucatini alla palermitana profumati di acciughe, mascolino, pinoli, uvetta di corinto, zafferano e pangrattato tostato. Linguine al pecorino profumate al limone con mascolino, zafferano e pangrattato tostato. Busiate artigianali con ciliegino e gambero rosso con mandorle tostate e pangrattato. 01/07/2025: Restaurante informal en el paseo marítimo. El camarero era amable y la comida resultó mucho mejor de lo esperado para el lugar super ocupado en el agua. Pizza Siracusiana era deliciosa, corteza fina muy fresca con aceitunas, tomates secados al sol y anchoas. Las sardinas a la parrilla eran excelentes con un toque de pesto en la parte inferior y con limón. Esta parecía una buena opción para una comida casual o una bebida el domingo por la noche con una hermosa vista al mar.

03/10/2025: Great location! Right on the beach, incredible views, and a virtually private beach. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable, and super clean! The service could definitely be friendlier, but the ocean view and the tranquility made up for it ;-) Dinner was good, and the breakfast was a very pleasant surprise!

30/09/2025: The food was normal, fish was too salted, spagetti was good. But in restaurant there was specific smell, like toilet smell. Poor english.

10/09/2025: Maybe something has changed in the management compared to a few years ago, the quality of the dishes has worsened, the overcooked paccheri, the sardines a beccafico, noooooo, the Sicilian swordfish didn't taste like fish. At least the person serving you is up to par.
