18/08/2025: The location is absolutely worth it, but we were disappointed by the seafood linguine. It was absolutely tasteless. It tasted like a simple plate of pasta with seafood thrown on top, rock-hard, rubbery calamari, dried-out mussels, and two or three clams inside. It had an aftertaste of glutamate and onion. For the modest price of €28, it absolutely didn't taste like seafood sauce; you could tell the fish had been cooked separately, dry and tough. Honestly, I've never had worse seafood pasta. I left almost half of it and wasn't even asked why when they took the plates away. Beautiful place, but I'd recommend it only for the view, not the food. The staff was generally friendly and helpful.

18/05/2025: They have advertisements at every road going to Castiglione, but are still difficult to find using our GPS. When we finally arrived at 9pm, we were the only guests - later another couple arrived. Even with this few customers you have to wait patiently for your food, our three dishes took about two hours. Very well prepared, great taste, but I will only go again, if I had a large antipasti plate before - elsewhere.

24/07/2025: Cutting through between the main streets and found this reasonably priced restaurant. Had a great bowl of spaghetti francescana which gad thick gloupy sauce. Wife thought she getting a small starter of chicken wings. She received a slate plate with chicken stripes with dips etc. There was enough for 2 persons

01/07/2025: Restaurante informal en el paseo marítimo. El camarero era amable y la comida resultó mucho mejor de lo esperado para el lugar super ocupado en el agua. Pizza Siracusiana era deliciosa, corteza fina muy fresca con aceitunas, tomates secados al sol y anchoas. Las sardinas a la parrilla eran excelentes con un toque de pesto en la parte inferior y con limón. Esta parecía una buena opción para una comida casual o una bebida el domingo por la noche con una hermosa vista al mar.

05/05/2025: La comida era pobre y el pescado estaba demasiado cocido y las verduras a la parrilla estaban frías. Tienen un letrero Michelin en la ventana, pero debe haber sido un chef diferente. El restaurante está muy bien decorado y el personal proporcionó un buen servicio.

The bearded man with glasses blatantly overcharged me twice yesterday. He charged more than the menu price, was rude, threw the bill on the table, and responded very aggressively. Come on!! what will you do without customers? I sincerely cannot recommend this place because of such treatment, although the other waiters were adequate I came to have dinner alone because it was my birthday. But being a woman dining alone does not mean you can treat me this way. Dear guests, especially women, please be cautious and avoid this place when in Palermo!

22/07/2025: Ristorante molto carino, informale e con tavoli nella piazzetta, perfetto per una cena in famiglia o tra amici. Ampia scelta di busiate in tutte le salse e ottimi secondi pesce. Il tonno alla griglia è super consigliato.

We remembered the delicious meals in Calamosche; for years it had been our favorite destination. What happened? Greasy food, caponata full of vinegar, our friend had a terrible stomach ache, a unique disappointment and a bad impression on our friends. But where has Maria, the fantastic Maria, gone?

25/08/2025: Extremely negative experience. The staff was not only rude and impolite, but also arrogant and disrespectful. We were mocked starting with the appetizers, the only ones we managed to eat before leaving the table. We had ordered raw fish for two, as clearly stated on the menu, and we were left with a ridiculous dish, which they said should have been "shared," oyster included. The situation worsened with a very serious incident: we also found a piece of plastic in the soup. As if that weren't enough, instead of receiving an apology, we were subjected to both verbal and physical aggression from the owner, unacceptable behavior. A place to absolutely avoid.

25/08/2025: Don't go near this place. In addition to having eaten PLASTIC (we found a piece of bag in the mussel soup, where it had probably been frozen), if you disagree about something that is not right (we rightly pointed this out to him), you risk PHYSICAL ASSASSINATION from the owner, 2 friends and a girl forcefully pushed out of the place, and a waiter who even had to hold him back to prevent him from continuing (facts clearly exposed in the Carabinieri station, and reported here for information).

17/06/2025: Teníamos grandes esperanzas para este restaurante, pero nos fuimos sintiéndonos decepcionados. Si bien el personal era amable y atento, los platos carecían de variedad de sabor, todo sabía bastante similar, a pesar de que se utilizaban diferentes tipos de pescado. Otra decepción fue el enfoque de servicio: cada elección que hicimos se encontró con el mismo genérico “¡Gran elección!” sin ninguna recomendación real o información sobre el menú. El escenario es simple y sin pretensiones, lo cual no nos importa, pero la factura final se sintió empinada considerando la calidad y creatividad de la comida. En comparación con otros restaurantes de la zona, que son más refinados y cuidadosos en cada detalle, este no estuvo a la altura.

Lei cortese, precisa, professionale ha il polso della serata, aleggiando tra gli ospiti con precisione femminile. Lui, un Poseidone uscito dal mare nuota tra le onde della cucina, rimestando e definendo le prelibatezze che lo hanno ispirato, e il vintage dei tavoli che raccontano di domeniche in famiglia, di legami fatti di sangue e sudore, sensazioni, pensieri, ricordi, insomma un racconto, di cibo e non solo. È la storia di una persona, un popolo, una terra, come la Sicilia che, più di tante altre, merita di essere narrata. Il menù è attraente, identitario. Leggi le portate e intuisci che farai un viaggio. Potrai attraversare la Sicilia da Palermo a Trapani fino a Siracusa e non ti pentirai della scelta fatta. Bucatini alla palermitana profumati di acciughe, mascolino, pinoli, uvetta di corinto, zafferano e pangrattato tostato. Linguine al pecorino profumate al limone con mascolino, zafferano e pangrattato tostato. Busiate artigianali con ciliegino e gambero rosso con mandorle tostate e pangrattato. Involtini di melanzane con luna piena al tartufo ibleo, pomodorino pachino confit, canestrato ragusano. Grazie da "i fratelli di Napoli"
