06/08/2024: We had dinner twice at this beautiful restaurant. The view is wonderful, from the terrace there is an incredible view of the temples. We took various dishes: from tonnarelli with octopus to tuna with pistachios to the king's caponata. All dishes were very good and well presented, the favorite dish was the tonnarelli with octopus. Excellent desserts, such as the decomposed cannoli. They have a wide range of wines to drink and sweet wines for dessert. Excellent service, attentive and prepared. Not a low bill, an average of 45 euros each for various dishes and wines. But the quality of the food and the service is worth it. Parking next to the restaurant. 04/08/2024: Delicious food, generous service and a wonderful view! We popped in to this restaurant without a booking and the manager accommodated us despite the restaurant being busy. The food is a modern take on Italian cooking and was fantastic. Exceptional olive oil and bread too.

30/08/2024: We had a delicious meal at trattoria da Luigi. The host was very friendly and helpful. He gave us good recommendations. The ravioli was the best pasta I had during our trip to Sicily.

17/08/2024: We have been there and eat frito misto(2 ways - with calamari and srimps and another one with small fish). Very good food and you should never miss the CANNOLI, they made it there and it is abolutelly tasty. We have been there with the children and my mother. We will come back and eat again here for sure. The ladies from the restaurant were very nice.

13/08/2024: Sono venuta in questo ristorante un po’ più di un anno fa (non mi fa inserire il mese esatto). Sinceramente non mi è piaciuto molto, specie per le porzioni eccessivamente abbondanti ed i condimenti troppo pesanti (nonostante i prezzi siano piuttosto buoni). Quello che mi ha maggiormente lasciata perplessa, tuttavia, è stato il fatto che quando sono andata in bagno uno dei camerieri mi ha praticamente placcata, dicendo tra le altre cose: “La prossima volta però senza il fidanzato”…Detto praticamente ad una ragazzina che potrebbe essergli stata figlia…

23/08/2024: They welcomed us at 2.30pm without any problem. An exquisite and juicy meat, I have eaten few like it in my life, even the cooking requested by each of us was perfect. We also took some sautéed mushrooms (excellent) and a very tasty and balanced Sicilian salad. It's worth the stop.

10/08/2024: Abbiamo passato una piacevolissima serata all'insegna del buon cibo. Pesce freschissimo e ben cucinato, con menù in continuo aggiornamento ed al passo con i tempi. Servizio veloce e cortese. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo, grazie anche alla possibilità di ordinare un menù degustazione. Portate abbondanti. Ormai una tappa obbligatoria quando passiamo per Catania.

01/09/2024: Abbiamo trovato questo ristorante grazie ad altri passanti che parlavano di aver prenotato qui, e quindi ci abbiamo fissato pure noi. Bella sorpresa, carta rocca e ben fornita di tutto. Ottimo il risotto con gambero rosso e burrata. Qualità/prezzo sopra media ma buono

24/07/2024: Arrived at about 1pm on a Saturday and we were the only customers. I had egg fried potatoes ( delicious) whilst others had pasta and sausages with potatoes. Very reasonable and the food was tasty.

06/08/2024: The food is good and fresh. The place is small with tables very close together. Unfortunately, the experience was conditioned by the unbearable heat and by the choice to open windows and balconies instead of turning on the air conditioning in the room (which was left off on purpose).

16/01/2024: Nella nostra unica sera a Porto Empedocle, inebriati dalle precedenti recensioni, prenotiamo in questo bel ristorante di livello medio alto, decisi ad abbuffarci di ottimo pesce e, ovviamente, gamberi crudi, pronti a spendere quel che sia necessario.. Al tavolo scopriamo che nel locale c'è una festa di laurea ed il menù è lo stesso per tutti i convenuti, turisti compresi.. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene, ma certo non quello che avremmo voluto.. Ed è stato un gran peccato.. E non informarci della cosa quando abbiamo prenotato telefonicamente il pomeriggio stesso, lo ritengo un errore imperdonabile.. Per questo do 3 pallini ad un ristorante che di sicuro ne merita 5

09/08/2024: I recently had lunch at La Tana del Lupo in Pedara and really appreciated the quality of the dishes. I chose the meat roll, which was tasty and well made, along with the pasta with courgettes and mint. However, I have to say that the portion of pasta was a little small compared to what I expected from a typical Sicilian restaurant; I would have expected a little more abundance, but instead I received a dish more similar to a gourmet portion for the meal price per portion. The grilled vegetables were delicious and the service was friendly and attentive. Overall, a good experience, but I would have liked more generous portions.
