15/02/2025: I can't judge the chef's cuisine, but only the Japanese format proposed in February. For me it doesn't live up to the reputation of the restaurant. I expected much much more. The highlight, in my opinion, was the ramen. The rest is a bit disappointing

02/02/2025: Abbiamo provato l'esperienza del Japanese pop-up restaurant, avendo nostalgia dei sapori provati in Giappone ed è stata ottima: abbiamo ritrovato i sapori autentici della cucina giapponese. Tutti i piatti sono stati descritti sapientemente, bellissima la scelta di cucinare in sala il Wagyu per mano dello chef Matsuguma (manzo davvero eccellente con una salsa deliziosa!). Grazie alla chef Di Benedetto che ha portato questi splendidi sapori a Palermo!

22/03/2025: I went there this summer with my family and my brothers-in-law, both the service and the food were fantastic. My son is also celiac so he also received excellent service and as confirmed by my son, the food was also delicious. We will be back soon

24/02/2025: We celebrated our grandmother's birthday at the San Martino de Kamarata restaurant and the experience was fantastic. The food was excellent, with tasty and well presented dishes. The staff were courteous and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere. A truly unforgettable family lunch!

12/03/2025: We had the shrimp with orange liqueur sauce to start off our dinner and it was delicious and plentiful. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture. I think this dish was my favorite of everything I had on this trip to Sicily. Next my husband had the grilled lamb with grilled vegetables and I had the spaghetti with tomato, mozzarella, basil, and Parmesan cheese. They spoiled us with a sweet fizzy glass of wine, then a tomato bruschetta and finally some fried dough pastry for dessert compliments of the house!

23/03/2025: A wonderful family running restaurants! Despite the planned closure of the premises, we were welcomed and deliciously fed. Pasta on point, nothing more, nothing less. A simple, classic Italian place. It's worth taking a walk;) Cooked with heart.

21/03/2025: The food was decent for the price, but I kept an eye on the total cost of my order. However, when I received the receipt, it didn’t list the individual dishes, and based on my memory of the prices, I noticed they charged me 3 euros more than expected. Just a note: I’m a foreigner and don’t speak Italian.

07/04/2025: Writing this just to balance out all the Michelin stickers on the window. Food is fine, pretty basic. Service is not particularly friendly. Not overpriced which is nice. This meal won’t change your life for good or for worse, you’ll just have eaten.

16/02/2025: Visitata per cena in un piovoso venerdì... ottimo cibo, servizio (seppure da osteria) curato e gentile. Prezzo coerente con la struttura, forse anche più basso rispetto alle aspettative.

20/03/2025: You arrive in a very beautiful and suggestive location with a tasting of croutons and oil, a bit sparse to welcome, but at least this formula is present, always welcome, but I expect to know the chef's touch with this move, instead nothing. I did not try the appetizers because they did not inspire me, my wife was satisfied with the courgettes, mashed potatoes and sausage. Let's move on to the first courses, in my opinion the highlight of the lunch, casarecce dell'oste and pansotti of ricotta in cream of walnuts and pistachios, very balanced and abundant dishes, I could distinguish all the very good ingredients, my second course was a colt rib, quite good meat, but the cut was not done very well, I had half a steak almost rare as I requested, alas the other half was overcooked, consequently stringy, accompanied by baked potatoes a bit disappointing. The staff who welcomed us were almost intrusive with their eyes always on us while we were eating and since there were two of us in the whole room, I'll leave you to imagine, making us feel uncomfortable. The bill was a sore point, not in line with what we ate, I would gladly return for the first courses, for the rest......

02/03/2025: The place looks good, but otherwise without praise or infamy, the meat was nothing special, the price for what I ate was really excessive, the grilled vegetables were burnt, the coffee was disgusting, the water was paid for three euros but given in a glass bottle, if you make me pay three euros for it I expect you to bring me the ferrarelle which is in glass and open it in front of me! We took an appetizer (arancini for two, all breaded, a fillet and a scottona which already included the side dish, burnt!) 80 euros! As if money grows on trees! My husband didn't complain just out of politeness. I have already said that the coffee was disgusting and had a bad smell and, among other things, I paid two euros, even though they had noticed the cup was full. However, this is a personal opinion obviously, but we won't be coming back!

25/03/2025: Ate here with a group of 5. The pasta and wine were fantastic. Tony and Giuseppe also provided real Italian hospitality. Had a wonderful evening

22/03/2025: One of the few restaurants open in March. This is because it is run by local people. Interesting menu with all the typical local dishes. Various appetizers to choose from and then the fish couscous that we found truly special. Intimate, almost romantic place. Very kind and helpful staff who explained the dishes. Very interesting and honest bill. Highly recommended

09/03/2025: I'll start by saying that I had never been there and I must say that I was very surprised by the variety of foods offered in the starters and the quality obviously no less. We booked for 8 and we all appreciated the good food proposed by the chef including the dessert which finally wasn't packaged but handcrafted, specifically a mimosa cake, a profitterol and a panna cotta, all three very good, the place was very quiet, a location not far out of town but quiet and away from city traffic, all in all a good experience, low costs.

02/04/2025: The best restaurant in Taormina. The family that runs the restaurant is amazing, and the restaurant is cool and the food is great. Highly recommended.

02/04/2025: We had a wonderful experience and enjoyed our food tremendously until the server upended a glass of wine into my lap. The compensation was €10 off the bill, which barely covered the cost of the spilled wine let alone the cost of my clothing. If this had been handled more satisfactorily, we would have loved to return.

Quale migliore idea se non quella di trascorrere la serata in uno dei locali più belli e importanti di Siracusa: una serata al "don Camillo"! Coccolati dal primo all'ultimo istante... Gentilezza, affabilità, eleganza, professionalità ci hanno circondati dal primo momento...il cibo... poi... che dire! Ogni piatto è stato presentato con elegante semplicità, descritto in ogni minimo dettaglio e ha soddisfatto pienamente tutte le nostre aspettative... Esplosione di sapori, profumi, consistenze ed emozioni... Grazie... Grazie di cuore Lucilla e Angelo ... Grazie di cuore Tiziana e Salvo... Grazie di cuore chef Giovanni... Esperienza indimenticabile! Torneremo sicuramente!

07/03/2025: Premetto che qualche mese fa ero già stato in questo ristorante ed ero rimasto veramente molto contento sia per il servizio ma anche per la bontà del percorso degustazione di pesce, qualche settimana fa ho deciso di prenotare ma purtroppo non sono rimasti soddisfatto come la prima volta, prezzo della degustazione aumentato da 80 a 100 euro a persona, la quantità delle portate del primo e del secondo invece di rimanere invariate o addirittura di essere più abbondanti rispetto alla prima esperienza dato l ' aumenti di prezzo inspiegabilmente sono diminuite di tantissimo, pasta con ricci e gamberi a mala pena 2 forchettate e Anche la porzione di tonno come secondo molto più piccola rispetto alla prima volta, credo che aumentando il prezzo non si possa addirittura diminuire così drasticamente la quantità della portata del primo e del secondo peccato perché la prima volta mi era piaciuto molto, seconda esperienza a distanza di qualche mese invece abbastanza deludente per il prezzo che si paga si dovrebbe uscire sazi e contenti ma non e stato cosi....peccato.

We ate really well... It was a great and very pleasant discovery not to be underestimated the stool or to rest the bag. Definitely to return.. Thanks Matteo for this unforgettable experience...

03/04/2025: Pleasant dinner. Very nice and nice environment. Attentive and fast service. Very good serve from Fassona. Good risotto with osso buco. Maybe a little bland. Medium-high prices.
