07/10/2025: A rather disconcerting experience: terrible service, poor cleanliness, fish that was either tasteless or ruined by the chef. As soon as we arrived in Sicily, they recommended this restaurant to us. It's October, the tourist pressure is low, and you expect good service and good food. Unfortunately, no, raw scampi sent back, defrosted amberjack, inedible squid drowned in soy sauce, untouchable oil cruet because it wasn't clean, used and dirty bread napkins, confusing service, dirty walls. Maybe it's because I work in the restaurant business, but I was truly disappointed. Local cuisine should be something else.

04/10/2025: The quality-price ratio wasn't right in my opinion. €16 for a small amount of fried food, and despite the fact that the waiter told me there were 8 cassatelle, they only came with 7. The same goes for the seasonal fruit, which was a paltry amount. Sufficient.

13/10/2025: Simple but delicious recipes. Fresh fish cooked according to tradition. Excellent appetizers and well-cooked first courses. I'll definitely be back.

05/10/2025: We've been to this trattoria for lunch several times and have always been satisfied!!! The excellent quality food, unmistakable Sicilian flavors, and friendly staff make it definitely one of the best places to go if you want to eat well and taste good! Highly recommended!!!

11/10/2025: We decided to dine at this restaurant because it accepted Tue Fork's yums... The place was sad and bare, very different from the photos; the service was extremely slow and inattentive, the adjacent tables "unmade" even though they were empty; the appetizer plate was left at the table until coffee. We ordered a "box" appetizer for two, which was good but looked like an aperitif from a common bar. It was also brought to the table without our drinks arriving, which were served 10 minutes later. Then we ordered two portions of braciole with potatoes, which, besides being extremely small, I found hair inside and had to wait another 15 minutes to have the plate remade. Finally, for coffee, we had to ask twice and wait a long time. The meat is also good, but overall the place is ugly, the food is scarce, and the service is slow and poor. Without the fork voucher we would have spent around €75 for two for a poor second course, a shared starter, a glass of wine each and a portion of potatoes for two... I don't recommend it

08/10/2025: I had the opportunity to dine I had the pleasure of working with this restaurant and can honestly say that every aspect was taken care of down to the smallest detail: from the excellent quality of the food to the ambiance. Every dish I tasted was a true discovery of flavors: the freshest ingredients, well-thought-out pairings, and meticulous presentation. The cuisine successfully showcases Sicilian tradition.

06/10/2025: RESERVATIONS ARE MADE ONLINE OR BY PHONE. We are happy to reschedule due to personal commitments. The dishes were very good and plentiful, as per Southern Italian tradition. The waiters were knowledgeable and friendly. While we waited about an hour for our orders (the only downside), they served us friselle with tomatoes and olive oil, which were delightful. Overall, a good experience, but the wait times could be improved. We'll be back!

13/10/2025: We liked the restaurant so much that we returned two nights in a row. Welcoming a warm welcome from the owner, Corrado, we ate excellent seafood dishes, both in quality and preparation. The cassata was spectacular. Highly recommended.

23/08/2025: Excellent land and sea restaurant. This evening I ate excellent, very fresh and perfectly prepared fish. The seafood appetizer, the "stazionetta" with crudités, was noteworthy (the oyster was very fresh). The seafood puttanesca and the mixed fried fish were delicious. They served me an excellent vintage rum and the service was excellent. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly.

05/10/2025: We ate very well, with an excellent appetizer and both the couscous and the ravioli were delicious. The house wine was good, and the service was fast and courteous.

03/10/2025: We waited 40 minutes just to get the antipasti and the room was half empty. In general too expensive. We paid 5 euros for a small bowl with only green salad. For a small grilled fish alone we paid 24€. The cous cous was very salty. Not recommended.

05/10/2025: Historic local restaurant. Excellent location with outdoor seating under the trees. We had busiate alla norma and caponata for dinner. Everything was good, but not exceptional. Excellent desserts. Average prices.

15/10/2025: My husband, son, and I were craving a real Sicilian trattoria, and we found this place: You walk in and immediately feel the Sicilian atmosphere. Everything is excellent, expertly prepared according to tradition. The prices are more than fair, the atmosphere is welcoming and clean. All this is complemented by the friendly and kind owners. We've tried a little bit of everything, but we still have a lot to try. My son devoured the ciambella!!! Highly recommended, and we're happy to have found a place in the area that finally prepares products according to Sicilian tradition.

06/10/2025: The food was fine. The meat was nice and soft, and the sauce in my girlfriend's dish added a nice flavour. The lemon gel was basically frozen lemon juice which was meh (but then, it's kind of to be expected). The cannolo was nice, not the absolute best, but I was happy with it. The staff is nice and friendly, and the place feels very local out of the way of the main tourism sites.

13/10/2025: It was a beautiful warm evening at the end of September, and I went for a meal with a friend. Sitting outside was lovely — the atmosphere alone made it a pleasant start. The food was good, but the experience was spoiled by the attitude of the main waiter. He had to be in control of everything — very focused, like a hawk — and the only one allowed to take orders. Once you managed to get his attention, he was efficient, but otherwise, it was impossible to catch his eye. Funny enough, even with his overcontrolling manner, the cocktails that should have come first arrived only after we kept asking for them. The other waiters did not dare to help, though later a lady (probably the owner) came to apologise for cocktails being late, which was appreciated. Would I go again? Probably not.
