03/06/2026: The staff were extremely kind and attentive: our dog was welcomed with great hospitality and friendliness, a detail we truly appreciated. We chose this place to celebrate our wedding anniversary and were very satisfied. The dishes were excellent, as was the wine; the appetizer we shared was especially delicious. The caponata and panelle were so good we almost regretted sharing them! The desserts also deserve a special mention: truly excellent. The olive oil was very good. We dined in the outdoor courtyard, a pleasant and refined atmosphere, and the place overall is very welcoming. The only small complaint concerns the vegetarian and vegan options, which could be expanded: at the moment, the completely vegetarian or vegan options are quite limited, especially for those who don't want to choose a first course. However, this doesn't detract from the quality of the cuisine or the overall excellent experience. We will definitely return soon, perhaps with some friends, to try the first courses as well.
02/06/2026: Exceptional experience. I went there for lunch with my partner. We shared a starter that included caponata, olives, ricotta with pistachios, fried bread, and chickpea croquettes. Then there was pasta with shrimp, tuna slices, mille-feuille with cream and strawberries, and a cannoli. Everything was perfect. I couldn't find a single flaw. Even the olives in the starter were excellent, soft and flavorful. The only thing that was a bit off was that our table was outside in the courtyard, next to a wall with potted plants and soil. I saw a few ants crawling around on the table. I think it was just a flaw with our table; it would have been enough to move it 20 cm away from the wall instead of having it attached to the wall. The bill was a bit high compared to other restaurants I've tried in the region, but considering the deliciousness of the dishes and the quality of the ingredients, I find it reasonable. We'll definitely be back.

We have rarely eaten so well and rarely felt so comfortable. It's not easy to find, as it's on the first floor with another restaurant below. But it's worth the search!

19/05/2026: An informal evening with colleagues, topped off with excellent cuisine. From the sharing seafood appetizers to the main courses and dessert, everything was excellent. The service was impeccable, friendly, and empathetic, which is hard to find these days. The atmosphere is simple, but that doesn't hurt on these evenings. If you choose Faretto, you're choosing it for quality.
17/05/2026: I had bruschetta, which was very flavorful, well-seasoned, and therefore delicious. I only had to add a little extra salt because I had a higher salt craving that day. The mixed salad with everything was also a delight—fresh, crisp, and very well-balanced. It's just a shame that the salad came without dressing, even in a restaurant that is certainly above average. Unfortunately, many restaurants in Italy miss out on valuable points with their customers, whom they could impress with a homemade salad dressing. So, here too, I had to order sugar separately from the provided ingredients for my dressing. A salad dressing without a balanced amount of sugar isn't a salad dressing. Or, as a general rule of thumb in cooking, where there's salt, there must also be sugar. You don't always have to taste it prominently; often it's enough if it just subtly enhances the flavor. My main course was a Pizza Capricciosa—and finally, after three failed attempts, I got a classic Neapolitan pizza. It was thin, with a crispy crust and large air bubbles, but unfortunately, the oregano wasn't in the tomato sauce; it was sprinkled on top afterward. Since my previous pizzas here always lacked oregano, I specifically ordered it this time. So I can't say whether it would have been included by default. It's clear that if it were sprinkled on before baking, it would burn. That's why it belongs in the tomato sauce. This flavors the sauce and distributes the oregano aroma evenly across the pizza. In particular, the untopped areas around the edge would also get the expected, typical Italian pizza flavor. This would make the crust even more appealing. For dessert, I chose a lemon mousse. Unfortunately, it was semi-frozen, but the flavor was a sweet highlight. A real mousse should be airy and light; this one had a consistency more like ice cream. As a result, when scooping out slices with a tablespoon, the pretty, round mousse practically squashed. ... I ordered two 0.33-liter Coca-Colas to drink. The real highlight came with the bill. Including the two-euro cover charge, the total was a very reasonable 29 euros. I'll definitely be back.

15/06/2026: We had pre ordered the tasting menu. The food was great, fresh, innovative and just delicious. The wine pairing was just lovely, surprising in a few places but always went perfectly with the food. The staff were friendly and swift. Leaving this review because some of the comments we’d read surprised us compared to the experience we’d had. There is a reason this place has a mention in the Michelin Guide and if you are a foodie, you will not be disappointed.
07/06/2026: This isn't a restaurant that "updates" Sicilian tradition, but rather dismantles and then reassembles it. One of the dishes I love, and which best defines it, is the anelletto with octopus ragù. At first glance, it might seem like a pop homage to Palermo cuisine, but the octopus isn't treated simply as a marine element, but rather as a profound, almost meaty component, braised until it loses all its toughness and acquires a consistency that speaks to the pasta without overpowering it. Wild fennel is a green, bitter line that runs through the dish like a vegetal signature. Saffron and Nero d'Avola aren't aromatic folklore, but tools that add tension and color to the base. Here, the sea is within the pasta, and the land doesn't remain in the background. The cuisine of this osteria takes identifying ingredients and makes them accessible to a wide audience without emptying them of meaning. Andrea Rizzo eliminates the superfluous to reveal a clearer, less narrated, and more essential Sicily.

We ate the best parmigiana of our lives, fresh handmade pasta with delicious sauces, and a tomato sauce that tasted of sunshine. We found it by chance thanks to the recommendation of a girl at the cathedral ticket office, whom I can never thank enough.

07/04/2026: We booked at the restaurant because it is recommended by Gambero Rosso... the location is very nice... Already from the orders the host seemed a bit inattentive... when the appetizer was brought the table was not served all only 3 out of 10 and my Carrubba appetizer which is made up of 15 courses said by the host had not been served if after our initial perplexity we were told that having ordered 2 Carrubba appetizers we would have to share it without having said... then brought some samples he told me the waiter that it was finished but the fried samples had not been served and we pointed it out... asked for the fillet proposed by the host which arrived after a very long wait and asked many times the reason for the delay so much so that he said that if it had not arrived within a few minutes we would have left, a good sirloin arrived and not a fillet as requested... the food is excellent the price is correct but the host was unhelpful... a few episodes of 4 restaurants to see I would recommend it to improve on how to do the friendliness is a strong point of the place

20/05/2026: First of all, I had heard a lot of good things about it and my expectations were high. Pasta where I didn't find even a piece of lobster or crayfish but only the shell and a trio of tartare with little flavor. I wouldn't go back!

13/06/2026: Bracio Sicilian Bites is the perfect place for those who love the authentic flavors of Sicily! 🇮🇹🔥 Rich and super tasty all-you-can-eat menu: braciole, arancini, and traditional dishes, each one better than the last. A welcoming place, ideal for an evening with friends. The staff are always smiling, super kind, and friendly. I highly recommend it. Definitely worth a try!

Authentic Sicilian flavors, excellent ingredients, and generous portions. The service was also pleasant and the atmosphere welcoming. A lovely find in the Porta Romana area, we'll definitely return. 5 stars!

08/06/2026: A wonderful family-run trattoria, with incredibly friendly service, excellent local cuisine, and excellent appetizers. Low prices for such great food! I highly recommend it; we've been there twice and are thrilled with the food. The best recommendation is that the locals eat there.
