05/05/2025: On our way to Savoca we found this amazing restaurant. The food was so fresh and tasty. The black pork ragu was the fantastic! Giovanni and Kenny were great hosts and made sure the service was fab.

Every dish was delicious and carefully prepared. A big thank you to Alessia, our waitress, who was absolutely great, always smiling, attentive and very helpful. We will definitely be back!"

17/05/2025: Lunch on May 2nd on the seafront, under the straw hut that protected us from the raindrops. The food was decent, a little pricey, but we paid for the location. The highlight of this restaurant is its adorable, smiling waitress who makes a point of speaking French and trying to enrich herself with new expressions while taking the time to share with her guests. We say hello from France.

11/05/2025: Esperienza top!!! Trovato per caso, siamo tornati a pranzo e cena per 3 giorni di fila! Cucina eccezionale con materie prime di qualità, personale cortese, rapporto qualità prezzo imbattibile! Giovanni il titolare, persona squisita ,professionale e competente. Ambiente curato,con atmosfera calorosa e romantica. Ci ha letteralmente conquistato ed è il nostro posto preferito in tutta la Liguria! Bravi ragazzi, continuate così! 26/05/2025: Excellent and plentiful food. We had a delicious and fragrant wild boar ragù and a tagliatelle with shrimp and burrata. It’s a shame we had to cancel the pork knuckle in red wine reduction… Both were delicious!

17/05/2025: We stumbled on Il Sorpasso and it proved a huge success. The waitresses helped us with the menu and wine which meant we had a perfect combination of flavours and tried a couple of new dishes. The pasta with asparagus and mussels and the involtini stuffed fish kebab were our favourites. Lovely experience with friendly waitresses and superb food.

11/05/2025: Special restaurant, run by special people. Dishes created with high quality raw materials, with flavors that cross all of Italy. Excellent selection of wines. You can't help but love the Sorpasso

26/05/2025: I had been many times at the Cavaddari in the past during my visits to Sicily. This one was disappointing. Pasta overcooked and with no taste, there was too much noise, children running everywhere like in a kindergarten. They have changed decoration and the place has lost its character and personality. Staff polite and service good. What a pity…

12/05/2025: This was a wonderful place to have an elegant meal at a reasonable price. The staff were friendly, helpful, efficient, and professional. The papardelle with Ragu and the tagliatelle pesto were unique and beautifully prepared. We shared a catch of the day - a grilled sea bass with pistachio crust. A wonderful experience after a day of sightseeing.
