08/04/2026: Tourist trap. Do not recommend. One of the worst seafood experiences I’ve ever had. The starters tasted like straight-up canned food and were served cold. The pastas were okay at best. The portions were unnecessarily large, yet the actual seafood content was disappointing. If you’re advertising seafood pasta, maybe emphasize the seafood instead of drowning it in pasta. The shrimps were fresh, but the flavor was mediocre. The fish was severely overcooked—a total waste of what could have been a good product. Overall, this place delivers large portions, however lacks finishing which would be expected for a seafood restaurant (not to say high ranked one), low value for money.

09/04/2026: A corner of authentic Sardinia where you least expect it! Discovering this place was a real surprise. I never imagined I'd find the genuine and authentic flavors of Sardinia right here, in a place that from the outside didn't suggest such a profound gastronomic journey. Everything we tasted was delicious, prepared with ingredients that taste of the land and tradition. The appetizer deserves special mention. It was like being transported directly to a Sardinian farmhouse, surrounded by intense aromas and flavors that weren't manipulated to "fit," but served with all their original character. From the welcome to the quality of the dishes, it was an excellent experience. If you're looking for authentic Sardinian cuisine, this is the place. The very kind chef even reinterpreted the dishes with a vegetarian twist. I'll definitely be back!

27/10/2025: Cucumiao is the best of the three restaurants we visited in and around Palau. It's true that the menu, with its ten pages, can be daunting and make you wonder about the freshness of the dishes, but we tried several dishes and everything was perfect. I recommend the typical pane frattau dish, which is simply excellent.

17/03/2026: I went to this restaurant with my girlfriend for lunch. It's a very nice place, decorated in Sardinian style. As a Sardinian, I can say the food was delicious (all homemade), traditional Sardinian but with a touch of innovation. Erica and Gianfranco were very kind, and the service was excellent! 28/03/2026: We stayed at this wonderful agriturismo today: green meadows, children's playground, and well-kept, docile animals. We ate divinely, and the waitress was incredibly kind and patient. We spent the afternoon on the green meadow, where the children played freely, and as we were leaving, the owner invited us to stay as long as we wanted, because "no one will turn you away here; enjoy this sunny day." Kindness and respect, excellent food, a wonderful day! See you again very soon!

29/03/2026: After eating lots of the 4 Roman pastas over previous days, I felt like some lighter fare for dinner, so visited Sapori Sardi to get some seafood. The Sardinian backdrop comes through, with fantastic flatbread and marinated anchovies as a starter. These were excellent. For mains I went with the seafood risotto which – depending on your perspective – had very delicate flavours, or was a bit lacking in flavour. It was also a little sparse in seafood, with a couple of prawns, a handful of vongole shells (not sure I saw vongole), and four or five mussels. The rice was cooked well, and it was very filling. But I’m not sure it was there with the best seafood risotto I’ve eaten around the world. The staff were very helpful and friendly – my Italian is terrible, and I got the impression their English was not great, but we bumbled our way through, and finished up with a limoncello as a thank you as I was paying the bill. All up, great to have some seafood for a change, but not sure I would rush back for the risotto.

11/03/2026: Are you in Gallarate? Fancy eating seafood in an elegant restaurant? Do you have some money in your pocket? If so, Albatros is the perfect choice. You won't regret it. The price is obviously higher than other places, but it's absolutely reasonable considering the level of service and the quality of the food.

02/03/2026: The restaurant lacks parking due to its location; the only option is to park in a nearby designated area, which you should be notified of when booking (which was not the case). The restaurant has a 1970s style, out of fashion for its intended audience. The quality and execution of some dishes are quite questionable for the price: crudités are limited, especially given the size of the shellfish (the scampi and shrimp are inadequate); spaghetti with sea urchins is completely unsalted, and only your imagination can help you appreciate the flavor of the sea urchins (if some products are no longer easily available, it would be better to give up and not resort to foreign products). The Pezzogna garnished with artichokes is excellent.

08/10/2025: I don't quite understand the many top reviews. The spaghetti was overcooked, and the ragù (Bolognese) lacked vegetables for me – it tasted more like pulled pork with tomato sauce. The carbonara was also only average. On the plus side, the very friendly nonna and the fantastic view deserve special mention.

14/03/2026: There's no need to describe these fantastic tasting experiences. It's not a pizzeria or a trattoria, but a proper restaurant. Nothing like other "restaurants" I've eaten in the city. The food is excellent, and the prices are reasonable for the quality of the food and service. The waiters' wine recommendations are always appreciated. Five stars aren't enough.

As for the questionable service, rushing customers is definitely not a good thing. I understand the need to get off work, but there are ways and ways. Otherwise, excellent. 08/04/2026: A very pleasant, clean, and well-maintained hotel. Rooms are cleaned daily, and towels and linens are changed daily. Close to the train station and the city center. An ideal base for exploring Cagliari.
