21/11/2025: I was greeted with kindness and courtesy; given the chill outside, they showed me the warmest places to warm up quickly. Without a wait, they explained the menu and the day's dishes. I waited a while to choose, got answers to my questions, and ordered. Everything was amazing, homemade (including the bread), and generous portions. Definitely worth a try! Reasonable prices for the perceived quality.

20/11/2025: By far the worst restaurant I've ever been to! After waiting forever just for bread, water, and wine, we finally order... I order a pane frattau (and the waitress tells me the chef added a potato cream to accompany it), and my wife orders stewed cuttlefish. The cuttlefish arrive completely cold, still with ice inside because they were frozen, while I'm served an egg poached. So we call the waitress and, without touching the plate, send them back since they'd made a mistake from the kitchen. We also point out the ice inside the cuttlefish, and... all hell breaks loose! The chef arrives, reporting that he made the pane frattau without sauce or bread, so if I didn't like it, it wasn't their mistake but mine. He insists the ice isn't ice since (as per the menu) the cuttlefish aren't frozen. So we cut up a cuttlefish and take the ice from him, and without apology, he takes both plates away, angrily and grumpily. Even though we wanted to leave (and we would have done just fine), we ordered something else: tagliolini with cockerel ragù and cod with vegetables. No complaints about the cod, but it's better not to mention the unseasoned, sticky, and chewy pasta with diced chicken breast... I was so hungry I ate part of the dish, then went to the cashier and finally left... and... they'd charged us both for the cuttlefish we left because they were still frozen, and for the pane frattau, which was actually a poached egg. When I asked for an explanation, the mysterious chef came out and said that since we were tourists, he didn't care if we had a good or bad time, as we wouldn't be returning anyway. 2 incorrect appetizers, 1 first course, 1 second course, €110 excluding wine... with plenty of insults and teasing... You decide.

26/11/2025: Fantastic food, everything excellent, good waiters, everything very well kept and clean.

29/11/2025: Wonderful, elegant, impeccably managed venue. Everything is top-notch, and the wine cellar is well-stocked. Tuna and sea urchin tartare are excellent, as are all the shellfish. First courses are perfect, such as the baked sea bass with potatoes. The fish is incredibly fresh. Highly recommended. Recommended for everyone.

18/11/2025: Excellent cuisine, with high prices. Unfortunately, the owner has instructed the waiters to pressure customers into ordering things they didn't ask for or want. For example, my friend, a light drinker, was suddenly poured a second glass of wine he hadn't asked for. There's a constant and annoying insistence on offering other dishes... If you accept, the bill will skyrocket even higher. When they decide to abandon this "strategy," I'll reconsider my rating. Friendly owner.

17/10/2025: Traditional Sardinian dishes are good and plentiful, but prices are a bit above average. Reservations are recommended. A negative note... After hearing that myrtle liqueur was offered at other tables, we found it added to our bill. Undoubtedly good, but we won't be returning.

13/10/2025: The food is good, the service rather distinguished. Beer is only available in bottles. The ravioli was delicious, and the lamb had plenty of bones.

05/10/2025: The atmosphere is very welcoming, even from a personal perspective. The owners are incredibly kind, and you can immediately see the passion they put into their work—this alone deserves top marks. The menu features both traditional Sardinian dishes and other options, all carefully prepared. The evening menu is reasonably priced, but I would also recommend this trattoria for lunch with its fixed-price menu.

27/10/2025: Cucumiao is the best of the three restaurants we visited in and around Palau. It's true that the menu, with its ten pages, can be daunting and make you wonder about the freshness of the dishes, but we tried several dishes and everything was perfect. I recommend the typical pane frattau dish, which is simply excellent.
