03/08/2025: My wife and I visited this restaurant yesterday for lunch, and as always, we were completely satisfied. The food was excellent, every dish prepared with care and flavor. Every time we come, the experience is always positive, but this time we'd like to give a special shout-out to the waiter who looked after us: helpful, kind, and attentive, he guided us throughout the culinary journey, meeting our every need with professionalism and courtesy. A big thank you, truly, for the excellent service. As always: full stars! I should also point out that, although they don't have private parking, you can easily find a spot nearby without any major problems.

02/08/2025: Sometimes life takes us away from places and people for no apparent reason. The pauses, whether long or short, serve to inspire wonder. I'd been away from this farmhouse restaurant for many, many years. I've discovered an impressive level of culinary growth. Pina, chef and mother of Alessandro Dettori, the current owner of the estate, has experienced a growth I hadn't expected. The transition from her mother's excellent cooking to something perceptible only to those who know this profession: quality cooking, interplay of textures, balanced flavors, bold use of aromas. Country cuisine of the highest caliber. What more can I say? Well done, Pina. I never want to lose sight of you again.

29/04/2025: I entered the venue more out of a biological necessity than an aesthetic intuition or the advice of someone I really trust. I had read reviews - some enthusiastic, others affected by that form of inverse snobbery that today mistakes mediocrity for authenticity - but none, really none, had prepared me for the experience that was about to happen. The space: warm but not suffocating, intimate without ever feeling claustrophobic. The lighting is calibrated to enhance the dishes, but not so low that you have to pretend you don't need glasses. Every furnishing detail suggests attention, never ostentation. The personal, human — that is, capable of smiling without seeming programmed to do so. And then the food, which deserves a separate review, perhaps in the form of a short story, or a philosophical essay disguised as a tasting menu.
The cuttlefish cappuccino is an explosion of sensorial density: creamy with a base note that seems to whisper to you "I know, it's strange - but trust me".
Fried tripe with Roman sauce and pecorino: both delicate and brutal, with a crunch that - if it were a sound - would oscillate between a straight speaker and the crackle of vinyl.
The roasted octopus on hummus and 'nduja is pure instinct: an expression of gastronomic fun, precise and casual.
Seared tuna — oh, tuna — executed with the surgical precision of a Japanese hand, but with a profoundly Mediterranean soul. The wine? A bottle chosen with that quiet wisdom that doesn't need to impress, but still manages to make you feel included in a small, silent privilege. In the end, as I left, I had the clear sensation that Rome - this living, contradictory, excessive, wonderful Rome - still knows how to speak in silence through places like this.
Places that don't scream at you to be discovered, but that only let you find them if you're lucky enough (or lost enough). And when you find them, they stay with you like the good scent of a long and unforgettable evening.

05/06/2025: we are not there, Marsala wine offered after tasting and table setting by sommelier!!! Too bad that I am a sommelier I do not sell appetizers 20 euros very miserable even if good, in short a trap for tourists now at cibìvitavecchia there is only this!!

09/08/2025: Menù non troppo ampio (ottimo), prodotti fatti in casa e personale giovane, preparato e disponibile. Location bellissima e ospitale. Abbiamo assaggiato l'antipasto di terra (porzioni davvero abbondanti e ottime). Primi buonissimi (in particolare le tagliatelle ai funghi e la pasta con arselle e bottarga generosa). Infine dolci squisiti. Un'ottima location per mangiare tradizionale in serenità e percependo tutto ciò che la campagna può donare.

29/06/2025: Le serveur était adorable, nous avons vraiment bien mangé , les antaspati étaient excellents. Les pâtes également. Un rapport qualité prix hors du commun. On reviendra si nous sommes à nouveau dans la région. La vue magique

20/07/2025: ...when, in a perfect mix, you choose from simple dishes like seafood salad and baked turbot with potatoes, to an exceptional sea bass carpaccio with truffle, calamari with artichokes, and tagliolini with cardoncelli mushrooms and shrimp... I also try a ravioli stuffed with amberjack and creamed with shrimp, calamari, lime, and a drizzle of bottarga... and to finish, a lemon and berry sorbet. I imagine I made someone's mouths water... In this place, even the seemingly simplest dish is never banal. It's not the first time I've eaten alone, with family, and with friends, and Crescienzio and his staff have always left me satisfied. I highly recommend it; Nuraghe Sardo is the restaurant for every occasion. Rating 10+

11/08/2025: The place is pretty but we were disappointed both by the food, which was rather ordinary (you ask for vegetables and you are served a bowl of whole raw carrots, just peeled, and celery!) and by the service, which was cold and casual. Surprising given the comments in the guides...

12/07/2025: We only tried the restaurant, having dined there several times. Excellent local cuisine at more than fair prices. We tried Culurgiones, ravioli, suckling pig, seadas with bitter honey, and house myrtle liqueur—all delicious. Very kind and attentive staff.

03/07/2025: Good morning, as usual I will not give a rating lower than three stars. The aubergines on the side were good and the spinach pie was decent (I won't go into detail). Meat alla pizzaiola...not good. Pesto...not good. I will certainly try 2 more times, for a more accurate evaluation, but what was really hard to digest was the "fixed menu" total for two people. Outside the restaurant the figure of €13 per person is widely highlighted. How it is possible to have reached €31.50 with only 2 main courses and 2 beers, is not known. I will try again.

05/06/2025: I think I have found one of my favorite restaurants from now on. Excellent quality and rare kindness, I think I will definitely return and very willingly! From appetizers to dessert nothing out of place, everything truly excellent. Compliments to the chef!

24/07/2025: We had a great time at this restaurant. The food is delicious and typical of Sardinia, the service is very friendly, and since we didn't know our Italian yet, they spoke French and English to us!

23/07/2025: Celebrated my daughter's birthday. Beautiful location on the Ottiolu marina, good food, and very friendly and welcoming staff. Prices are reasonable. Recommended.

10/07/2025: Cena eccellente! È stato molto piacevole scoprire che la qualità delle pietanze che abbiamo gustato è immutata. Il menù fisso non punisce l’eccellenza dei piatti. Antipasto vario con verdure, salumi e formaggi. Michele, che produce le eccellenze che porta in tavola, è sempre prodigo nel descrivere ciò che abbiamo gustato. Notevoli i primi e strepitosi gli arrosti: agnello e porcellino. Ottimi anche i dolci. Non vediamo l’ora di tornarci!

25/07/2025: A typical restaurant serving traditional Sardinian food. Reservations are recommended. Parking is limited. The owner is a unique but friendly character. A good selection of cheeses. Wine is available only by the glass, either Cannonau, which is very good, or Vermentino. The myrtle liqueur is a must-try; it's special. Good price. I recommend it.

24/07/2025: More than a restaurant it seems like a trattoria from another time. Typical Sardinian cuisine with generous portions. The very friendly owner makes you feel at home. The prices are, let's say, fair. I'm a tourist and I recommend it, if I were from the area I would return.

18/07/2025: We stayed at Casa Saltara and immediately felt at home, even our little poodle. The staff was friendly and helpful. We also tried Casa Saltara's restaurant and were very pleased with the quality of the food and the excellent service.

15/07/2025: Poor appetizer. The food wasn't bad, but the suckling pig was sent back...dry with black rind. Reheated and also poorly. (€35 per portion) The service seemed good, but then when you got the bill you discovered that all that attention wasn't there. Too expensive for what they offer. P.S. There's a menu from 4 years ago on Google. 👀

14/07/2025: Rooms - poorer without a fridge and safe in the room, the room has a balcony and bathroom. Location - further from the water, you have to use a car to get to the water and shops. Everything within 2-5 km The owners are great, they are happy to help and advise.
