08/03/2026: For my second trip to Cagliari, I wanted to try a traditional restaurant, and Pani e Casu more than met my expectations. The restaurant is located in the Castello neighborhood, offering a stunning view. The menu is traditional, with simple, rustic dishes reminiscent of a trattoria, home-cooked fare that warms the heart and fills the stomach. I sampled the selection of cheeses (the house cream cheese was exceptional) and then had the opportunity to try both culurgiones and trofie with wild boar, all washed down with an excellent Cannonau. To finish, seada and traditional dry biscuits. What can I say, I'd gladly return!

05/03/2026: Very good traditional food. The portions were really decent at a reasonable price. The mix of appetizers really surprised us. And at the end, the lady suggested something good for digestion :)

Price quite high but food very good. You need to reserve a table as I guess it is always full. The location inside is amazing. Good wine selection. You can have fish or meat

22/09/2025: I'm sorry I can't give more stars!! We had dinner at this restaurant last week. The location is lovely, and the food is excellent! The ingredients are excellent, everything is cooked and presented with passion, the best restaurant at the port... we tried them all. And, if we want to talk about the portions, well, they're generous! I couldn't finish the main course! But... I couldn't pass up dessert! The food is excellent, and the staff is kind and attentive. WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

04/04/2026: This restaurant is located just steps from the center of Villasimius. We went with our family on a Friday, off-season. Delicious Sardinian food, a welcoming atmosphere, and a beautifully decorated dining room with a real tree. The waiters and staff are very kind. We had a wonderful fregola and culurgiones. Delicious. Even off-season, we booked the day before. It's very popular, but worth it. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

03/04/2026: Well, I was pretty disappointed. The food was good, but not hair-pulling, but the bill, for what we ate, was €90 per person, which was decidedly out of line and inconsistent. We didn't have the pleasure of seeing a real bill or a receipt. This definitely put me in a bad mood. I didn't want to make a fuss, but it felt like a scene from the Cetto Laqualunque movie. A real shame. Mr. Virdis certainly made my companion happy, given his football faith. I tried it, but I don't think I'll be back.

28/03/2026: They welcomed us late (after 10:30 PM) and were super friendly and hospitable. Excellent food, both fish and meat. The house appetizer was plentiful, and the first courses were just right, very good. Definitely highly recommended and worth returning for, even just for the ladies serving us.

18/03/2026: As always, a guarantee! Baia Chia is truly the typical little trattoria of the olden days that are increasingly difficult to find! A welcoming place, the dishes are each better than the last. Highly recommended!!

29/03/2026: Excellent trattoria, small but well-organized, excellent quality, and rare kindness. Everything is freshly cooked, with excellent meat and fish options. I personally chose the Sardinian menu: Cod fritters with herbs, excellent malloreddus alla campidanese, tender and delicious grilled octopus, and seaddas with ice cream for dessert. 30/09/2025: Our wine tasting at the end of September 2025 turned out to be an extensive lunch with exquisite classic Sardinian cuisine in many variations and generous portions. Excellent biodynamic wines were poured in abundance, with repeated refills. The wines can be purchased on-site at fair prices. The staff are friendly and attentive. The owner's pretty daughter also speaks excellent English. This culinary experience is rounded out by a harmonious ambiance with a sun terrace and panoramic views. We (and the entire tour group) highly recommend it.

Excellent service (the very knowledgeable lady explained everything perfectly), excellent food, and very good wine. It has remained in my heart. I will definitely be back. 19/12/2025: €65 per person (30 people) to be treated with condescension and arrogance We were looking forward to a pleasant day dedicated to local flavors at Su Carduleo in Abbasanta, but we were greeted by sloppy organization and, even worse, unbelievable arrogance from the kitchen. The menu was promising, but the actual service was disappointing. Appetizers were served in miserable communal bowls, without plates or cutlery, turning the tasting into a hygienic mess. When we pointed out that four of us were literally missing meatballs, the response was a shrug: "If someone asked for seconds, it's not our problem." At €65 per person, we at least expected food to be delivered to everyone. But the climax came with the intervention of the owner and chef, Roberto Serra. Instead of apologizing or making amends, faced with a simple observation, he asked me to leave. A chef who chases away customers because they ask to taste what they paid for is unacceptable. The final straw was hearing his statement, addressed to the entire group: "I'm giving you too much for what you're paying." This isn't professionalism; it's an insult. The rest didn't make up for the situation: meatballs served later and cold inside, cured meats and vegetables in minimal portions (one slice per person, a few small bowls for 30 people), a suckling pig whose meager portion belied the promise, a dessert of questionable flavor. One ray of courtesy: the waiter, who maintained a commendable smile and helpfulness despite the tense atmosphere created by his superiors. In conclusion: this isn't just about small portions or service details. It's about a contemptuous attitude toward customers, who, paying an unpopular price (€65), were told it was already "too much." This lack of respect is worth more than any Gambero Rosso recommendation. Recommended only for those who, in addition to veal mince, also enjoy a good dose of humiliation.

16/12/2025: An experience not to be repeated, the quality/price ratio was absolutely inadequate. The company lunch with a very poor and minimal menu was further enhanced by the inappropriate intervention of the owner/chef, who rudely and arrogantly argued with a guest at our table over a completely legitimate comment, shared by all the diners, regarding the small quantity of food served for the agreed price.

18/02/2026: We had a very good time at this restaurant; the welcome and service were pleasant. The pizzas were excellent, with a thin crust just the way we like them.

10/01/2026: Decent pizza: the dough is very thin, perhaps too thin, and tends to crumble quite a bit. Overall, it's passable if you get the chance, but I personally prefer other pizzerias in Cagliari. The price is still fair compared to the average.

17/09/2025: Rich and flavorful tasting menu. Excellent dinner with Sardinian products and the star dish, the "porcetto." Quality and courtesy. Generous selection of appetizers, 3 first courses, porcetto, and seadas. Reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

10/09/2025: A very beautiful and characteristic agriturismo. Food is generously portioned and of excellent quality. The porceddu is incredibly tender. The location is surrounded by greenery. Attentive and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

07/01/2026: One of the best Sardo restaurants in Milano. Writing in english so that non-italian speaking locals can also discover this hidden gem. What I loved the most about this place was oysters (there are several kinds!) Everything was super fresh and yummy, the only drawback was the prices. But you don't get to eat good seafood very often ;)

03/01/2026: Excellent, elegant seafood restaurant. Everything is excellent. New discovery: the fried squid fillets. At the end of the meal, they offer delicious Sardinian desserts (biscuits and meringues). The only flaw: the high prices.
