19/12/2025: €65 per person (30 people) to be treated with condescension and arrogance We were looking forward to a pleasant day dedicated to local flavors at Su Carduleo in Abbasanta, but we were greeted by sloppy organization and, even worse, unbelievable arrogance from the kitchen. The menu was promising, but the actual service was disappointing. Appetizers were served in miserable communal bowls, without plates or cutlery, turning the tasting into a hygienic mess. When we pointed out that four of us were literally missing meatballs, the response was a shrug: "If someone asked for seconds, it's not our problem." At €65 per person, we at least expected food to be delivered to everyone. But the climax came with the intervention of the owner and chef, Roberto Serra. Instead of apologizing or making amends, faced with a simple observation, he asked me to leave. A chef who chases away customers because they ask to taste what they paid for is unacceptable. The final straw was hearing his statement, addressed to the entire group: "I'm giving you too much for what you're paying." This isn't professionalism; it's an insult. The rest didn't make up for the situation: meatballs served later and cold inside, cured meats and vegetables in minimal portions (one slice per person, a few small bowls for 30 people), a suckling pig whose meager portion belied the promise, a dessert of questionable flavor. One ray of courtesy: the waiter, who maintained a commendable smile and helpfulness despite the tense atmosphere created by his superiors. In conclusion: this isn't just about small portions or service details. It's about a contemptuous attitude toward customers, who, paying an unpopular price (€65), were told it was already "too much." This lack of respect is worth more than any Gambero Rosso recommendation. Recommended only for those who, in addition to veal mince, also enjoy a good dose of humiliation.

16/12/2025: An experience not to be repeated, the quality/price ratio was absolutely inadequate. The company lunch with a very poor and minimal menu was further enhanced by the inappropriate intervention of the owner/chef, who rudely and arrogantly argued with a guest at our table over a completely legitimate comment, shared by all the diners, regarding the small quantity of food served for the agreed price.

14/03/2026: There's no need to describe these fantastic tasting experiences. It's not a pizzeria or a trattoria, but a proper restaurant. Nothing like other "restaurants" I've eaten in the city. The food is excellent, and the prices are reasonable for the quality of the food and service. The waiters' wine recommendations are always appreciated. Five stars aren't enough.

07/03/2026: I was at this place on Friday evening. My heartfelt compliments to the kitchen. The food was spectacular. As for the questionable service, rushing customers is definitely not a good thing. I understand the need to get off work, but there are ways and ways. Otherwise, excellent. Thanks for the experience.

15/05/2026: We chose to dine at Pani e Casu based on the numerous positive reviews we'd read online. Our overall experience, however, was far from our expectations. The cheese appetizer was good. Next, we ordered the ricotta and spinach ravioli and the artichoke ravioli. Unfortunately, they left us a bit skeptical, both in terms of flavor and appearance and shape, which were more reminiscent of a packaged product than a homemade one. We asked the wait staff for information, who were helpful, explaining that the ravioli come from two different pasta factories; nevertheless, the feeling remained. The snails and tripe were also good, but overall, we expected more than the reviews suggested.

22/05/2026: Ordered ravioli twice. Everything was brought to the table on one plate. The portion size? Well, if both of you went to eat somewhere else after this, it doesn't exactly scream "adequate portion." The ravioli were partially undercooked and bland; charging €16 each for that is pure tourist rip-off. The waiter? He must have forgotten about being friendly in the basement.

03/05/2026: I’m giving 5 stars because this please is everything I wanted it to be! super local, easy going, great food! The only disappointing thing is, I made another reservation for Sunday! But when we arrived they were closed, it seems the reservation was changed, but I received no notice of this, I’m not sure if this is Google’s booking system or the restaurant themselves, but maybe they should fix this problem for others in the future. None the less! This is a must visit.

10/05/2026: Overall, the products were good and typical Sardinian. Good wine and decent porcetto. The dessert was perhaps a bit skimpy. Overall, it was adequate.

01/05/2026: After several attempts in the area we found IL MIRTO open for dinner....excellent welcome and the dishes one better than the other 😃 a real Sardinian dinner....fixed menu from €45 from starters to desserts coffee and digestive (the menu also includes 2 first courses and a drink) really very generous portions 😃..... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

10/06/2026: Very clean rooms, well and centrally located. Almost everything is within easy walking distance. Extremely friendly staff. Very good breakfast on the rooftop terrace until 10:30 am.

04/06/2026: Excellent experience. Central location, very convenient for arriving by plane or train. A 15-minute public bus ride takes you to the beautiful Poetto beach, and in the evening, a short stroll takes you to the city center. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms (mine was even recently renovated). Good breakfast (perhaps too sweet compared to savory, but that's my personal preference). Fantastic opportunity to have breakfast on a typical terrace in the center of Cagliari. Much appreciated! Free beach towel service, very convenient for those like me flying with a small backpack for a quick trip from Milan. This is my second time staying here: I'll definitely be back!!! Thanks for your hospitality!!!

01/06/2026: Too bad. We chose to have breakfast there based on the inviting look of the croissants. The service was completely unprepared, distracted, and inexperienced. The pastries are beautiful to look at, but essentially nothing special, and the prices are quite high (€12.40 for two croissants and two cappuccinos). I'm sorry, but I hope they can improve in the future.

15/05/2026: I wasn't entirely satisfied. Good service. The cheese appetizer was interesting, but the grilled vegetables were less so. The porceddu we ordered was cold, as was the beer. Seada was good but not the best. €49 per person seemed excessive for the quality/price ratio.
