There's no need to describe these fantastic tasting experiences. It's not a pizzeria or a trattoria, but a proper restaurant. Nothing like other "restaurants" I've eaten in the city. The food is excellent, and the prices are reasonable for the quality of the food and service. The waiters' wine recommendations are always appreciated. Five stars aren't enough.

I was at this place on Friday evening.
My heartfelt compliments to the kitchen.
The food was spectacular.
As for the questionable service,
rushing customers is definitely not a good thing.
I understand the need to get off work, but there are ways and ways.
Otherwise, excellent.

Il Portico is an elegant traditional restaurant in the heart of Nuoro, not far from the cathedral. The place is very welcoming, if a bit cold and anonymous. The food is excellent, with both meat and seafood options. We had a dinner for two, featuring monkfish with raw vegetables, lados with cockerel ragù and casizolu (a highlight), lamb chops with potatoes, and turbot with vegetable cassola. Everything was delicious and flavorful...but the frozen potatoes paired with lamb, in my opinion, are a bit pricey. The nougat was delicious.

We visited this restaurant at the invitation of friends from Nuoro while on vacation in Sardinia. The fish was very fresh and prepared in an excellent and unique way, and the staff were very friendly. We ate wonderfully and will definitely be back.

The place, despite being small, is charming, welcoming, tidy, and clean. The young, friendly, and helpful staff provide impeccable service. The seafood appetizers are tasty and beautifully presented. The spaghetti with bottarga is also delicious. I don't know about the bill; the birthday boy paid. I would gladly return and highly recommend it.

We've been twice, the food is excellent. The tuna appetizer features spectacular platters with decorations that are also a feast for the eyes. The flavorful, as I explained, is mind-blowing. The mackerel is also highly recommended. The ravioli filled with stockfish are a delight. The colungiones are excellent. The service is excellent. I feel relaxed and satisfied every time I leave. The tables are private, with plenty of space between them, and the service is calm and professional. The quality/price ratio is amazing, especially considering how good the food is and the portions are just right. It's my favorite restaurant in Nuoro. I recommend it to everyone. 6 stars!
