We ate very well, I especially loved the cod croquettes and the homemade tagliatelle with guinea fowl ragù and truffle.

Food is not price value, I never seen a so sad bruschetta one tomato slice on a burnt slice of bread, olive oil is from grocery store very low quality. Fish from the appetizer taste fresh but marinated alici was to vinegary. Carbonara and cacio e pepe unacceptable to be in Roma. Owner and place are nice.

This is a restaurant I visited after seeing The Mouth of Truth. The carbonara is less cheese- and cream-based and tastes more like Korean seafood kalguksu (noodle soup). It feels like a traditional Roman restaurant, so if you go expecting a familiar flavor, you might feel a bit unfamiliar. Furthermore, bread and water are provided without asking, but they are charged. While this is Italian custom, it might be surprising for tourists from other regions, so it's best to ask in advance. Because this is a long-standing family-run restaurant, there are many old photos. It might be difficult for tourists to understand, but I hope the tradition continues and prospers. Gratie!

11/01/2026: I've known this place and been going there for years. Lately, I've noticed that, while the prices aren't exactly cheap, the quality has deteriorated.
19/12/2025: Best place in the area for an aperitivo. Wide selection of cocktails, generous platters full of delicious treats, friendly and welcoming staff. My colleagues and I were regulars; I even organized a couple of events there for about 30 people at a time, and everyone was happy. Unfortunately, they've now moved offices and we're no longer at the Torrino. We miss you so much, Flowery!!!

12/04/2026: If you're looking for a place where Roman specialties are more than just tradition, but a true experience, this is a surefire choice—especially for the fettuccine Alfredo you'll never forget. From the welcome prosecco to the dessert, each course was a little taste journey, meticulously crafted and surprising in its simplicity. A special thanks to Andrei, for the warm welcome that truly makes the difference, and to Mykola, who guided us through the dishes with precise and never boring advice. There are places you try... and then there are those you already know you'll return to. This is definitely one of them.
12/04/2026: The restaurant is perfect, the atmosphere is pleasant and most importantly something I would recommend to everyone, try their Carbonara 🥹 it melts in your mouth and the bacon is so crispy, simply delicious…
