First Courses: Carbonara is the real star: creamy, with crispy bacon and just the right balance of pecorino. The Amatriciana and Gricia are also excellent, strictly respecting tradition. Second Courses: The meat dishes are unmissable, from saltimbocca alla romana to tagliata, cooked with a simplicity that enhances the flavor of the product.

I'm not usually one to write reviews, but this place truly deserves it. We stumbled upon this charming location by chance, just steps from Piazza del Popolo. We had lunch for two. They seated us immediately. We ordered a carbonara and a gricia with truffles for the first course; oxtail stew for the second course; and we finished with a tiramisu. What can I say? Both were delicious. Extremely tasty and balanced, excellent value for money. But the real highlight was the oxtail stew. The cuisine pampers you, the service is courteous and impeccable. Highly recommended. My only regret is that I discovered this place on the last day of my stay in Rome. What a shame.

Upon arriving in Rome, we enjoyed a truly authentic dining experience at Osteria Antica Brunetti. The Carbonara and Cacio e Pepe were standout dishes, both prepared to perfection. We truly felt welcomed by the very polite staff and highly recommended this restaurant for anyone in the Piazza del Popolo area; this spot is a total must-visit.

The food was perfect. The only problem was with the service, after finishing the main course we waited 30 minutes for the service to notice us. She noticed and did not respond, we wanted to have dessert and more drinks, so we paid and went to another restaurant.
