16/10/2025: We walked into the restaurant thinking we had a reservation and I shortly realized I made it for the wrong day. The staff advised they were fully booked but they accommodated us. The manager was so friendly and helpful. We got great service, and the food was so delicious. We spent 3 weeks traveling through Italy and this was the best restaurant we visited!! Book your reservation in advance and try this place out, you won’t regret it. Get the lasagna and crème brûlée and tiramisu!

22/10/2025: An oasis of Roman charm just steps from a city center now sold off to mass tourism. Excellent and plentiful first courses, delicious tiramisu... even the bread was good. Unbeatable price in the area. Highly recommended. Reservations required.

01/11/2025: What a gem! Of all the food we had in Italy, this was by far the best- so much so, we went twice for dinner! It was in a quaint little alleyway neighborhood, not far from Ponte Lungo Metro Station, and we fell in love with the restaurant, the family that runs it, their house wine, their food, the quality, the quantity, and THE PRICE! Very affordable for premium food! We really loved their sausage gnocchi, rack of ribs: GET.THE.ITALIAN.RACK.OF.RIBS!! (Yes, I’m yelling at you- you won’t regret it)! We aren’t big dessert eaters but so glad we didn’t skip the heavenly caramel, ricotta dessert. We will keep this place in our hearts forever and will come back if we are ever in Rome again! Thank you, beautiful people 🥰😍🇮🇹

29/10/2025: I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant and was thrilled. The food is authentic and genuine, just like the food my grandmother used to cook: simple flavors, yet rich in tradition and care. The atmosphere is warm and intimate, perfect for feeling at home from the moment you arrive. The quality-price ratio is excellent; it's hard to find better. A wonderful discovery that I highly recommend and will gladly return to.

09/10/2025: We went to dinner on Friday, October 3rd with friends. After 11 years, we returned to this restaurant, remembering a fantastic experience many years ago. What can I say? Everything was confirmed. Spectacular first courses, generous portions. Our friends, from Lazio, were pleasantly surprised by the deliciousness of the dishes. Thank you!

02/11/2025: Even though it was almost closing time, they kindly let us sit down. The staff was super friendly and professional, the food was just as good, everything was super good. I will definitely be back, see you soon!

31/10/2025: There were seven of us, 5 adults and 2 children. We know the owners well. We ate very well, compliments to the chef, everything was good, exquisite desserts.

20/10/2025: One of my favorite places to eat. It's small, intimate, on a back little side street, with delicious food, great atmosphere...the owner is Brazilian..Fredrico, he is a great host, works the tables ... gracious and fun. If you want a local experience with a Brazilian flair and some tropical thrown in with your Italian food, this is the place to go.

19/10/2025: I loved everything: the super creamy cacio e pepe, the strozzapreti with porcini mushrooms and sausage, too. The only thing I found in the carbonara was the egg that was a little overcooked (that's why I gave it 4 stars). But everything was good, with quality ingredients and a very friendly staff.

17/10/2025: If you're looking for a carbonara that exudes tradition and captivates you from the first bite, Tiberino is the place to be. The egg custard is perfect, the bacon is perfectly crispy, and every bite is a small act of love for Rome.

14/10/2025: Stopped in walking back from seeing the Trevi Fountain. We lucked out that a table opened up at that moment, the place was packed. The service was friendly and efficient. We loved our pizzas and pasta but didn't care for the signature cocktails (should've gotten the wine!). Recommend stopping in if you're in the area!

31/10/2025: I unexpectedly received a bonus on a website (the one shown in the photo) and decided to treat myself to a nice dinner. Went for this truffle pasta — the aroma alone was amazing! The portion was generous, everything tasted fresh and delicious. Thanks to that bonus, the evening felt extra cozy and pleasant.

22/10/2025: Small but very welcoming place, excellent first courses and a delicious second course of beef with balsamic vinegar. The welcome and service are always attentive. I highly recommend it! 😉

22/10/2025: Our visit to Antica Trattoria Al Gallinaccio started out a little bit rocky, as we arrived a few minutes prior to our reservation at 7:30 and we didn't get seated until after 8pm. I did notice they had a large group of 10 that may have thrown off their schedule. However, once we were seated the magic began. This place feels quite like an authentic Roman neighborhood trattoria, and the food was fantastic. My rigatoni alla gricia con carciofi was the best thing I ate in Rome that wasn't gelato. We'll definitely be back on our next trip through.

21/10/2025: Don’t usually review many places but this deserves a 0 star review Booked a reservation at 7:30, arrived early and was told reservations only, when I told them I had a reservation for 2 they told us to wait outside After waiting another half an hour with no one coming out to say anything we realised that other groups had also reserved seats just to be told the same thing. Honestly such a joke to do this to people and very deserving of a 1 star review. Be wary when reserving a table here as it seems they’re doing it just to have a crowd! This was a Tuesday night by the way so clearly not peak times
