Excellent restaurant, professional service... a dinner for 5 Super😋

Had a plate of pasta Amatriciana, a glass of very good red wine selected by the owner (or at least one of the owners, now I regret not asking his name) and finished lunch with a tiramisu cup and an espresso. Everyone was friendly and quite understanding of my poor ability to speak Italian. They let me in a couple of minutes before 12 (the opening time). It was a great dining experience and an excellent demonstration of the Trastevere hospitality. Thank you for everything!

We were here a few weeks ago, just the 2nd night of our month trip around Italy and I've come back now in reflection to say how well this ranked compared to all the other places we went in Italy. We stayed in the area because we heard the food was good, we went for a walk around the streets found this osteria and they completely exceed expectations. Greeted with complementary champaign, delicious pasta which you could tell wash freshly cooked and complementary lemon cello and chocolates to end. We had a friendly young gentleman serving us, were very greatful for his service as non Italian speakers. With all their generous additions we were a bit worried we'd fallen for a tourist trap and had to pay extra so we started turning down the additions but he luckily realised and ensured us it was all just their for our experience. Very much appreciated! Great place, great food!

I've eaten here twice now, both meals were Roman pasta dishes with a side salad. Food is good, but it adds up to about $30 a meal eating this way... It's good homemade pasta, but heavy on the digestion!

Went for lunch. The à la carte menu seems expensive, but the set lunch menu (appetizer, main course, water, coffee, and limoncello) is quite affordable. Very pleasant atmosphere with beautiful gazebos among the trees. Superb carbonara, excellent artichokes too. €22 per person plus wine, enough to leave with a full stomach and satisfied.

Hands down if your American. You come here. They treat you right with positive energy. They’ll give you free drinks if you spend the right amount of money. This is the best place so far we’ve been to in Rome. We came here countless nights. Other restaurants treated us like shit, but this one is special.

From the moment we arrived, the welcome was extraordinary. The owner is a fantastic person: super down-to-earth, friendly, and incredibly helpful. He has the rare gift of making you feel immediately at home, as if you were a regular customer from the very first moment. The food is simply excellent, authentic, and meticulously prepared: The Carbonara is a top-notch: creamy, flavorful, perfect. The artichokes are simply TOP: cooked to perfection, an explosion of flavor. Excellent ingredients: you can clearly taste the freshness and quality of the ingredients in every dish. Excellent value for money and a warm atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!! Highly recommended!

​Two years ago, I would have told you this was the best amatriciana I had ever eaten. Today, it is mediocre and completely ordinary. Back then, the service was incredible, but now it is deplorable. We waited over 10 minutes just for some cheese, the bread was hard and stale, and the Aperol Spritz lacked any actual "spritz." To top it off, I've honestly had better carbonara in Mexico. It was awful to see a beautiful memory go down the drain. I won't be coming back.
