We were served by Aida, who was very kind and welcoming. We had the dish of the day, spaghetti alla amatriciana, and grilled octopus with mashed potatoes. Truly satisfying... especially if you have someone hospitalized on Isola Tiberina.

Tiberino on Isola Tiberina was one of the highlights of our time in Rome. The pasta was absolutely delicious—fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of authentic Italian flavor. Every bite tasted homemade and beautifully balanced. To finish, we ordered the tiramisu, and it was outstanding: light, creamy, rich with coffee flavor, and one of the best we've had in Italy. Combined with the charming atmosphere on Isola Tiberina and the friendly service, it made for a memorable dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Roman cuisine! The atmosphere: The spaces are modern, intimate, and meticulously designed. It's the ideal place for both a romantic dinner and a business lunch, where privacy and elegance are sought without excessive formality. The cuisine: The restaurant's true strength is the balance between tradition and innovation. The great classics of Roman cuisine are reinterpreted with exquisite technique and the highest-quality ingredients (their historic pigeon and carbonara with black truffle are must-try dishes). Each dish is a journey of clean flavors and impeccable presentation. The service and the wine cellar: The staff is professional, welcoming, and never intrusive, capable of offering the best recommendations. Honorable mention goes to the wine cellar: a monumental wine list, with national and international labels capable of satisfying even the most discerning palates. 13/08/2026: I decided to dine here for a dinner but I didn’t have a reservation and thankfully they still managed to accommodate me for an indoor table for an hour. For vegetarians, they only offer one dish called Cacio e Pepe. I found it okay, it was a bit too salty for my liking, possibly due to the natural salty taste of the cheese that goes into Cacio Pepe. I also ordered the Tiramisu, based on positive reviews on Google Maps. However, I didn’t enjoy it as much as other people. To me it tasted more like sweet cream with some crunchy bits. Tiramisu here costs €8. Later that evening, I met a local Roman friend who advised me to avoid paying more than €5 for Tiramisu in the future! While the ambiance was pleasant & the restaurant was filled with local people dining there & they accommodated me without a reservation, I didn’t feel welcomed during my time there. It’s said that people remember how someone makes them feel, and this place made me feel like a burden. It’s possible that this wasn’t intentional, but it left me feeling regretful about my choice to dine there.
13/08/2026: It's always a pleasure to come back, excellent food cooked to perfection, typical Roman tavern, quiet place, I recommend everyone to try it
