18/10/2025: We were there tonight and had a wonderful time. We tried both meat and seafood appetizers, both rich and delicious. We recommend their eggplant, it's among the best we've ever had, truly unique. The first courses are delicious and the portions are generous. The carbonara is excellent (it's hard to find places that still make it properly), and the sour cherry tartlet is also excellent. The atmosphere is quiet, pleasant, and relaxing. The service is fast, and the waiter is extremely knowledgeable and professional. The owner is very friendly. Highly recommended restaurant in Genzano.
11/10/2025: Il cibo è ottimo e il servizio efficiente e sempre cortesissimo e simpatico. Ogni volta mi ci sono trovato molto bene, sono un team molto professionale. Raccomandato come il miglio ristorante di Genzano, a mia conoscenza.

05/12/2025: Starting with the service, the lady talked the entire time (repeatedly) to the men at the table next to us, loudly and with her elbow practically in my boyfriend's face, as we were already very crowded.
Poor quality appetizers, including octopus alla Luciana that tasted only of olives. Gnocchi with mussels and pecorino cheese were completely unrelated, and I practically didn't eat the mussels because they didn't look good at all. The chocolate cake for dessert, I think just visually, was the worst I've ever seen; it was whitish, and then completely raw (and no, it's not a matter of the warm center, but of the cooking).
It might be okay for tourists.

13/12/2025: A truly beautiful and welcoming restaurant, with fantastic, kind, and helpful staff. The food was excellent! Authentic Roman cuisine, traditional and delicious. The waiters were truly friendly and worked hard and with dedication. I would return a hundred times over!

The food was not tasty, the bread was dry, we ordered vegetable soup, bean soup with peas arrived - the waiter's answer was Roman soup...tasteless.
Pasta with cold tomatoes, not tasty.
Main course came out after everyone at the table had finished.
Every course we wanted was said to be out of stock
In short, I do not recommend going to the restaurant

17/11/2025: We arrived around 9 pm and stayed until 11 pm.
The atmosphere was warm, the service attentive, and menus in French are available if needed.
The dishes were delicious and particularly generous.
The value for money is excellent.
As for the tiramisu, freshly made, it was simply delicious.
I highly recommend it! 🤌🏼

18/11/2025: We went with TheFork, the fettuccine with ragù was good, the appetizer was a bit poor for the price.!! But it amazes me that we paid for the service plus bread, 4 mini slices, €3 each, that is, €6 service for 2. Then you get a €6 discount on the total excluding water. Three euros for a cover charge in an osteria is absurd, especially since I had to look for a waiter to clear away the dirty plates... and no one came for the second course and we left hungry. I don't think I'll go back, also because TheFork is a rip-off. I paid the discount with the cover charge 😡

09/11/2025: Enjoyed a great meal - cosy local and traditional restaurant. Recommend the artichoke starters the beef with balsamic vinegar! The pasta was also great - the perfect texture. Highly recommend. Thanks for having us!

11/12/2025: Discover the true Roman experience thanks to the waiter's unique service, which alone is worth the visit. The food is average, definitely better than the touristy places where you can eat classic Roman dishes, just steps from Rome's Termini Station.
07/12/2025: First night in Rome, we'd barely arrived when we landed at Trattoria del'Omo and had a wonderful meal. The service was excellent despite our late arrival. Authentic Italian cuisine. I'll definitely be back.

14/11/2025: Excellent dishes at fair prices; we went to the one in San Giovanni.
Wide selection of wines.
The supplì and artichokes alla giudia were truly excellent. We probably could have left out the maritozzo.
The price includes a bottle of wine.

I loved the house wine, the fettuccine with oxtail, and the amatriciana on pizza and with pasta. The tiramisu and panna cotta were absolutely delicious!

30/11/2025: La Pollarola is consistently delicious and a great meal. The servers and staff are nice and the food excellent. We love it when we visit Rome , the best artichokes in the World. Really good wines. Great spot , and nice because it is not filled with tourists, it’s full of locals and Italians ! Very chic!
