19/10/2025: We ate very well. Authentic Roman cuisine with genuine ingredients. The staff serving us were all professional, fast, and kind. The only flaw is that the restaurant could find ways to reduce the noise inside. Perhaps some sound-absorbing panels could improve the situation.

14/10/2025: Last Saturday was my birthday. I called shortly after 12, just before the restaurant opened, and they reserved a table for four outside. We chose our dishes and wrote them down to make ordering easier, and the waitress hadn't even told us there were any flower menus. We ordered a boiled meatball, three amatricianas, two tripe, a plate of meatballs in tomato sauce, four mixed salads, a quarter of red wine, and coffee. The amatriciana had a dark, bitterish sauce, almost as if it were made with tomato paste or burned. The tripe wasn't made according to the typical Roman recipe (Sora Lella-style, so to speak). The salads, served in tall cylindrical containers like large glass jars, weren't fresh in my opinion, as the various leaves were chopped and a bit limp, and they were full of pieces of leek that left a lingering onion aftertaste in my mouth. The most annoying thing was when we asked for a spoon to eat the amatriciana, made with mezzé rigatoni rigati pasta, which wasn't included in the set. The waiter said that amatriciana isn't eaten with a spoon and was reluctant. When he returned to get the cutlery, we heard him and the others laughing... an unprofessional attitude toward customers. I was hoping to find a typical Roman osteria in Ponte Milvio, but that wasn't the case. What a shame!

09/10/2025: Highly recommended, for €12 you get a traditional Roman starter, main course, and side dish. The portions are generous and the quality impeccable. The waiters are courteous and fast.

09/10/2025: Pasta all'amatriciana served with parmesan instead of pecorino romano. Very serious. Baked potatoes arrived cold. Not even lukewarm.

18/10/2025: Traveling with a large group, the agreed-upon menu wasn't respected. Instead of homemade ravioli and traditional saltimbocca, we were offered pasta with tomato sauce and Bolognese cutlets that tasted like the classic cutlets from a service station. Not to mention the dessert. Absolutely not recommended.

15/10/2025: After the Vatican, we took the opportunity to have lunch at San Pietro, and it really was a very pleasant restaurant! We loved the dishes and desserts. The only downside was that they brought us a tomato bread we didn't order and said it was "on the house," because it gives the impression it's a freebie, and then you're charged €5 for the dish.

04/10/2025: We visited this location while they were offering a tour of Rome and happened upon it by chance while they were setting up another restaurant a few meters away. The restaurant had good reviews, but as we were walking by, there was a chalkboard outside with the daily menu, which included lamb, so I didn't hesitate, as that was exactly what I wanted to eat. I didn't regret it. It was very good with potatoes.

02/10/2025: In the Monti area, I dined at this restaurant, where they had an amazing carbonara (I would have added a little more guanciale). The sautéed chicory was good, but the tiramisu was less so. Very friendly staff.

29/09/2025: We found this place near Termini by chance, but it pleasantly surprised us. The waiter was incredibly kind and helpful, they offered us a delicious bruschetta to welcome us, and I ate the best and largest gricia of my entire stay. Honorable mention: the grilled zucchini was also a nice portion.

24/09/2025: Adjust your opening and closing hours. People go somewhere only to find it's closed. Locals and tourists alike rely on your public information, such as your opening hours, to make informed decisions. Please adjust them accordingly.

09/07/2025: Good, homemade food at affordable prices. The menu is limited in starters and appetizers, but there's still a decent selection, including main courses. The atmosphere is quiet, secluded, and retro. The service is good, courteous, and fast.

02/10/2025: Despite advertising various Porcini mushroom dishes when made our booking at 2pm, by 6pm when arrived they told us there are no porcine mushroom dishes! We however decided to stay regardless. We were then told only 2 very average wines were available by the glass,we didn't want a full bottle as we were ordering both seafood and meat dishes,so needed red and white . The selection offered was rubbish. Finally, to cap it all some people arrived with a screaming 2 year old! Well, it stopped the little yappy dog barking at the next table. All in all we should have gone somewhere else!
