28/05/2025: Leggo recensioni contrastanti. Certo non é il Ristornte a 5 stelle, ma conferma il buon format di un ristorante pizzeria famigliare dalle proposte semplici senza slanci azzardati. La pizza é la classima romana, bassa, ben farcita con proposte interessanti tipo la zucchina e cacio e pepe. Alcuni amtipasti buoni, esempio il polipo. Birre buone. Servizio Gentile come la splendida accoglienza dei titolari. Prezzi in linea con le proposte. Segnalo la Titolare sempre Solare ed Empatica. Consigliato per una serata semplice senza pretese.

21/05/2025: I have known the pizzeria for years and I often order it at home, what can I say? Classic Roman low as per tradition and very digestible, you could even take three for two people. Home delivery always on time, it is definitely a point of reference in the neighborhood. Also to be emphasized is the truly excellent quality/price ratio.

27/05/2025: Atmosférica trattoria con platos sencillos que deja sobresalir la calidad de los ingredientes. Definitivamente hay una diferencia en el servicio para los lugareños frente a los turistas. Si no te molesta, entonces ve e inténtalo, pero no es excepcional.

25/05/2025: One of the best restaurants I’ve been to. The T-bone steak was great and the porcini mushrooms, fried artichoke and ice cream for dessert were amazing.

30/05/2025: This pizzeria was a welcoming escape from the glaring sun outside, offering a cozy and soothing atmosphere that made it easy to relax and enjoy a good meal. The vegetarian pizza was a pleasant surprise, something a little different, but full of flavor. The chicken thigh was juicy and tender, cooked perfectly. They also offer great vegetarian options, making it a solid choice for mixed groups.

08/06/2025: Very cosy place in a quiet neighbourhood. Not a touristic place. We had a very nice time here, the staff was really nice and the food came super fast! Amazing food, it was pretty unique cooked and they have reinterpreted some classic recepies (or at least, in a way I've never eaten before). I highly recommend!

20/05/2025: A lovely experience for our family’s first visit to Rome away from the busy streets that we won’t forget! A visit to the wine cellar, then dinner and wine. The lamb, carbonara, ravioli and meatballs were devine. Our favorite was the lamb. So glad friends recommended and we saw BBC video about the restaurant.

15/05/2025: The other reviews about being forced to pay in cash are spot on. I assume this location. Is trying to evade taxes. What makes it worse is that my total was 19euro (see my bill) and the guy said 20 cash. These people are scammers, avoid. Which is a shame as the food was good.

18/05/2025: The only place in Rome where I ate very well and spent normally. I went to several restaurants and this one turned out to be the best. Pasta alla carbonara, matriciana and cacio e pepe are fabulous, I also recommend the coda alla vaccinara, very good.

16/05/2025: Simply great. Authentic, savoury, healthy and great product. The cuisine here is what you would expect from a typical Italian nonna. Furthermore, that is one of the only restaurants I came across that hasn't surfed on the hype around Rome and still has reasonable prices. Tasted homemade gnocchi, with artichoke and guanciale. Probably the best gnocchi I've had, ever. Would recommend anyone to come here for a great lunch. No crazy atmosphere, no groundbreaking concept, pure authenticity. Simply loved it.

27/05/2025: The ravioli and carbonara were both filling and tasty. The tiramisu was rich but not too sweet, making it easy to eat. The waiter was an older man who was kind and polite.

25/05/2025: Billy is kind! The focaccia is plentiful and delicious! The oxtail stew was also delicious. But I want some carbonara sizzle for Koreans. Be sure to ask for it at Deuljjaeupge!!!!

18/05/2025: Everything was perfect, and the waiter Marco was very friendly and pleasant. The service was top-notch, and the food and price were quite good.

13/05/2025: Without booking, we were able to dine (full room), friendly and funny waiter, good pizza (8 or 9€), beautiful decoration and discovery, finally a restaurant in Rome that doesn't make fun of tourists, Grazie!!

21/04/2025: The food was nice, as well as the service. It's cheap, there are mainly pastas and average food and beverages, so it's worth giving it a chance. If you're going - better make a reservation a day or two in advance, because it's getting full very fast.

11/06/2025: We ordered two different types of meatballs. They give you three large ones, but the mini pot is awkward to eat them in. They were good with the sauce. The other dish was beans with tomato sauce, a bit spicy. A bit tough. They brought out all the dishes at once, and I had to eat the beans after the meatballs because they were so hot. The tiramisus, in various flavors, weren't very noticeable either. The wines were a bit pricey. They were in a hurry to close.

18/05/2025: It was perfect for everyone from elementary school kids to adults in their 70s. There was no racism, and they actually looked after me very carefully. 2 appetizers, 2 pizzas, 2 pastas, truffle-topped beef steak, fries, soufflé, 2 liters of house white wine, lol. It came to a total of 123 euros, everything was delicious!!! I definitely recommend making a reservation and visiting!

18/05/2025: Esta es una trattoria bien establecida en Testaccio, el tipo de lugar que ha existido desde siempre. Es espacioso, brillantemente iluminado y de tacto totalmente local. No esperes una decoración de moda o música de fondo. Espere manteles crujientes, un servicio eficiente y un menú de pescado de la vieja escuela con raíces profundas en la cocina romana y del sur de Italia. Reservamos para 7: 30 pm y fueron los primeros en llegar; los lugareños se acercaron más a las 8 : 15 . Una característica distintiva: el carro antipasto. El camarero rueda sobre una bandeja de ensaladas preparadas —piense en berenjenas adobadas, carpaccio de pescado, frijoles con cebolla— y usted elige lo que desea directamente en su plato. Es informal, generoso y da una visión de lo que es de temporada o de casa - hecho. El menú de pastas incluye estándares romanos y algunas sorpresas regionales. Comí busiata con le sarde, finocchietto e pecorino, un rico plato siciliano con hinojo silvestre y sardinas. No es ligero, pero está lleno de sabor. Mi hijo optó por espaguetis y mariscos. Los precios son moderados, las porciones son honestas y los mariscos son un punto culminante. Reservas recomendadas, especialmente los fines de semana. No es turística, no es quisquillosa, solo una institución romana confiable que hace lo que mejor sabe hacer.
