I work in the restaurant industry, so I can honestly say that such a welcoming yet intimate atmosphere is hard to find. A truly welcoming restaurant, rich in familiar and traditional furnishings, it speaks of a simple and sincere Rome. Warm dining rooms and evenings accompanied by a small orchestra of gentlemen singing classic Italian songs from table to table, creating an almost homely atmosphere. The restaurant is very large, and the kitchen is pleasantly visible from the dining room. The service was excellent; the young and very friendly waiters were approachable, genuine and sincere, just like the place and the cuisine. Excellent dishes, very traditional and still largely untouched by the influx of tourists, full and homely flavors, everything you'd expect from a restaurant of this type. GLUTEN-FREE options are also available, the menu is varied, and the prices are appropriate for the setting, portions, and quality. As a chef, I've found what is still difficult to find in Rome: simplicity, tradition, hospitality, and above all, a lack of tourism and pretense. Highly recommended to experience the authenticity of one of the richest and most famous cuisines in history.

Recommend by my friend that lived in Rome and highly recommend this restaurant! The food was delicious, service is good considering they are really busy and the trio coming around singing songs was wonderful and I cried when they played my mom's favorite song, it reminded me of her so much. I know she was in heaven enjoying the music 🎶 with me 😇🙏❤️

A very characteristic place, typical of ancient Rome, with the entertainment provided by the folkloristic musicians, but the food didn't thrill me in terms of either quality or quantity.

We felt right at home in this welcoming place. This beautiful and historic venue is the Trastevere restaurant. The live music accompanied by a delicious dinner was a truly enjoyable experience. The waiter Giorgio was very courteous, friendly, and always available, with great experience and attentive service. I will definitely be back.

The ideal place in Rome for a traditional dinner. A very beautiful venue; during dinner, musicians play Roman songs. Excellent food. Prices aren't cheap, but they're in line with other restaurants in Rome.
