15/07/2025: 📝 Recommended trattoria in the heart of Rome with friendly service. 🍴 You can find many traditional Roman dishes, including very good pizzas. I had the fried stuffed zucchini flowers, the classic sautéed chicory, and the cacio e pepe: I loved everything. 📍 The location is very central, we ate outside, and the atmosphere was very nice.

We were pleasantly surprised by the fast and friendly service, the traditional Roman food (carbonara and amatriciana were never so good), the top-notch wine, and the staff, always attentive to our needs. We especially want to mention Andrei, a man with a kindness and professionalism rarely found these days, who, step by step, made our evening truly flawless. 18/08/2025: Busy place, book online if you can. I had rebooked online, and you get let straight in when they open at 7pm. First item on menu we ordered wasn’t available, then our order was muddled up a bit, but the food we had made up for it. Very flavoursome and tasty!! Flambé pasta, great to see this finished, even if it was from a distance. Prices are slightly on higher end, but this was still worth the experience. Plan in advance if going here, don’t just rock up and think you will go straight in. Good experience.

16/08/2025: The food is spectacular, everything we tried was delicious. The only downside is that the service misunderstood what we ordered, and they included a dish they hadn't served on the bill. Thanks to the rest of our guests, we were able to fix it (not without reluctance). You have to check the bill carefully. Still, 100% recommended.

24/07/2025: The restaurant is located just steps from the main attractions, yet away from the hustle and bustle of tourists. The atmosphere is truly pleasant: soft lighting, quality music, air conditioning, and a welcoming atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at ease. The cuisine is delicious, with well-prepared dishes and an excellent selection of wines—there are so many! The two dining areas can accommodate even large groups, yet still maintain an intimate feel. I was even able to work on my computer in complete tranquility; they offered Wi-Fi without any issues. Ideal for both a romantic dinner and a relaxing break. Kudos to the friendly and helpful staff. I'll definitely be back!

17/08/2025: An old-school trattoria, no frills and essential. Roman cuisine, but in my opinion, lacking in flavor, and a cacio pepe perhaps creamed with butter and lacking any verve. What a shame.

17/08/2025: Had the best ham and melon here! The carbonara is simply chef kiss. You know it is so good that I forgot to take a photo! To top it off, service is so warm and attentive.

25/07/2025: Lunch during a workday, fast service and very welcoming. The carbonara was beautifully seasoned, and the mezze maniche pasta brought out the flavors even more. Each bite was like mopping up the bacon, pecorino, and egg. I recommend it, even though I was hesitant about the homemade fettuccine with mussels and pecorino. Fast service, generous side of sautéed chicory with chili pepper, well done. Coffee and house amaro (Dar Bruttone). Fair prices, below average considering the location.

25/07/2025: Disappointment across the board. Unfortunately, my experience was negative in every way. The traditional Roman dishes, which should be the restaurant's flagship, were disappointing: the gricia, in particular, tasted more like pasta with butter and parmesan than the flavorful, authentic dish I was expecting. The seating issue was also a serious one: on the phone, we'd been told about a "terrace," but it was simply a sidewalk terrace, right next to the garbage cans. A decidedly unpleasant situation, both in terms of atmosphere and hygiene. I won't be returning.

17/08/2025: It's my first time sitting down and looking at the menu when I just want to take out a single pizza. The pizza is also really delicious. Diavolo? Diavolo is perfect if you like it a little spicy. ㅎ They let me sit down and look at the menu when I just want to take out a single pizza. Very friendly and no coperto woooowww 😀😃🙂

16/08/2025: A positive experience worth trying!! The quality of the ingredients was excellent and the dishes were well-prepared. The service was excellent; the waiters were kind and courteous. The prices were fair. The restaurant is located 5 minutes from St. Peter's Basilica, and is welcoming and clean.

24/07/2025: Dear Roman friends took us here for dinner in 2017. One of the top ten meals of my life! I have to assume the service was excellent, because our friend Fabrizio was on top of it with our server, LOL. I speak a fair amount of Italian, but their conversation was too quick and full of Roman dialect for me to follow! We had so many amazing options for primi piatti, we couldn’t order a secondo, we were too full! Everything was fantastic, what an amazing evening!!!

11/07/2025: I went to dinner with my girlfriend because we had a great time the first time (last year). I'm sorry to say, but this time it was a complete disappointment. In the mixed antipasto, both the cured meats and the burrata were of less than mediocre quality; the only positive note was the frittata. The real disaster was the "Roman first courses": the amatracina had an acidic sauce, and it was obvious that the guanciale wasn't cooked with the sauce, but was only added separately at the end. The result was pasta with sauce (not even good) with guanciale on top. The carbonara tasted absolutely nothing. I'm sorry to say this, given that the waitress was very kind, the service was prompt, and the atmosphere was pleasant. However, it's unacceptable for a place with a Roman cuisine menu to offer such dishes.
