07/03/2026: We booked the day before, and once we arrived, we were told that our reservation had been cancelled because they were supposed to serve tourists. It was a disgrace, and especially after an hour of waiting and promises to keep us waiting for a makeshift table, we were rudely ignored.
Terrible.
07/03/2026: The gluten-free pizzas are amazing. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't been told. Saifur's service was excellent. Friendly and fast.

22/02/2026: I'll start with the excellent service: the staff were very attentive and good, and the owner had the typical Roman charm. We ate well, and as a native of Puglia, I have to say that discovering Roman cuisine has completely satisfied me. The appetizers, first courses, and second courses were excellent. The wine list is good, and we'll definitely be back. 👏🏻👏🏻
21/02/2026: Nice, friendly, typical owner... A place that could be nice but has dishes that in my opinion are "wrong". The coarse tagliatelle with goat's cheese was frozen and reheated, I think, in the microwave, a flavor not for everyone... the cream and apple donut dessert (reheated but cold inside) and it was ice cream (in winter) but they don't tell you that, you have to find out. It wasn't pleasant. The dry bread was finished...?!? Unfortunately, the experience for me was mediocre. But it could have been a coincidence since it was a little late on Sunday.

20/02/2026: I tried this osteria for a quick dinner. It's a lovely place. I had a cacio e pepe and it was good. I wasn't crazy about the pasta shape, but maybe they rotate it. Then I wanted dessert, so they offered me a mix: crostata, apple pie, and tozzetto. All three were very, very good. Definitely the highlight of the dinner.
The staff was all very friendly.
A truly excellent place and I recommend it to everyone. So good that I went back for lunch the next day (and had a great time again).

06/03/2026: I'd already been to the restaurant in Testaccio, but this time for a lovely lunch on the veranda, we chose Velavevodetto in the quiet Prati area. Simple, traditional dishes are served, and reservations are recommended because it's popular and they have multiple seatings.
This time, I had fried artichokes, escarole, and pasta with Romanesco broccoli and pecorino cheese. The pasta was lovely and creamy, and the escarole was also topped with a generous helping of raisins and pine nuts, which I appreciated.
The portions are satisfying, and the service is average; a smile is always nice.
03/03/2026: The food is excellent, clearly the result of experience in its preparation. After all, they've been offering the same menu for years, so it's truly a tried-and-tested establishment! The quality/price ratio is also excellent. It's definitely a restaurant worth recommending and frequenting.

15/03/2026: We originally planned to dine at this restaurant for both lunch and dinner today. However, the plan was ruined by an unqualified young waitress. During lunch, due to her carelessness, she placed the bread basket at the edge of the table and nearly let it fall to the floor. The slices of bread were scattered on the table, and she casually picked them up and put them back into the basket, then handed it to us. We asked her to replace the bread, but she showed clear displeasure. Fortunately, an older waitress had some sense of professionalism and agreed to replace it. Nevertheless, our appetite had already been greatly diminished, so we hurried through the meal and canceled our original dinner reservation.

14/03/2026: Excellent Roman restaurant serving many traditional dishes, including a few specialties. The appetizers are excellent, especially the parmigiana and tripe, and the versions of cacio e pepe with artichokes or zucchini flowers are delicious. Recommended.

07/03/2026: I stopped by recently. The place was welcoming, clean, and quiet, with extremely kind staff.
Impeccable service and table setting, which you can't help but notice!
The absolutely original arrangement of the plate, napkin, and cutlery, with the latter resting on a metal stand to the right of the plate, is truly unique.
I enjoyed the pasta alla Gricia, which was truly excellent.
The bathrooms were super clean and fully equipped, which is truly uncommon!
Many compliments, I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality place where nothing is left to chance.

12/03/2026: I ordered takeout, and the tonnarelli alla gricia were AMAZING. I really have to compliment the chef. They were plentiful, flavorful, and hot. I'm truly beyond satisfied. The baked potatoes were delicious and plentiful, too. The gentleman who delivered my order was incredibly kind and a truly wonderful person. Even though I'd forgotten to leave my phone number so he could call me and open the door to the B&B, he waited long enough for me to come out the door. He was truly dutiful and kind, not even scolding me for making him wait. I was truly grateful.

13/12/2025: Good local cuisine... "simply good," relaxed atmosphere, especially suitable for families with children. Nobody really minds if there are children running around... it's a family restaurant.

23/02/2026: We had a wonderful lunch at Ambasciata d’Abruzzo. The tables are stylishly set, and the overall atmosphere has a premium feel. The pasta carbonara and tiramisu were truly outstanding. The staff is friendly and welcoming; even after 3:00 PM, we were allowed to sit quietly without feeling rushed, which was very pleasant. The dishes are all of high quality. The prices are a bit higher (the pasta carbonara costs €18), but you get good quality in return. All in all, a wonderful experience, and I will definitely be back!
20/02/2026: This once traditional restaurant has completely transformed its image and modified its culinary offerings.
Today, it serves Italian cuisine without any particular specificities or specialties.
The service is fast, the waiters are polite but brusque, and the atmosphere is not "warm."
Recommended dishes: eggplant parmigiana and roast lamb.
Wines with medium markups.
Above-average prices.
