23/09/2025: The restaurant has a touristy feel. Unfortunately, I didn't find any quality in the dishes I ate. The mozzarella is the standard kind you find at the supermarket. The prosciutto is also of modest quality. Even the tiramisu reminded me of the one from the refrigerated section of the supermarket. It has that sweet flavor that doesn't let you taste the coffee. One of the worst tiramisu I've ever had in a restaurant. Fettuccine with tomato sauce was even too ordinary. No wow factor. The grilled meat was good. But perhaps it's better to get a Florentine steak, which is actually a half Florentine. And anyway, I've had much better meat at other restaurants. The moral of the story is that perhaps a tourist might enjoy it, but a more discerning customer might be disappointed. It's a shame because the restaurant is large inside and has a beautiful fireplace that should be better utilized with more types of meat.

22/09/2025: A historic restaurant in Tivoli. I went there for dinner with friends but wasn't very impressed, perhaps because I had fairly high expectations. I ordered the amatriciana, which, however, lacked character, although it's still a good dish. The mixed grilled meats were good, but not quite excellent. The quality-price ratio was average for this type of restaurant, perhaps just a little overpriced for the quality and quantity offered. It's definitely a reliable restaurant, but I expected something better.

03/11/2025: Sometimes the day turns out better than expected. I got a bonus on a website (shown in the photo) and decided to treat myself to dinner. The pasta was wonderful — smooth, aromatic, and with that perfect taste you want to savor.

08/11/2025: A wonderful discovery!! A very welcoming place with super friendly and courteous staff, it's like being with family!! Excellent dishes, from the starters to the main courses, top-quality pizzas with a truly talented pizza chef, and the burgers are definitely worth trying!!

23/11/2025: Amazing food! We did not plan to eat there but we changed plans and stumbled into this trattoria and we were not disappointed. The pizza Napoletana was amazing, thin crust and authentic Italian. We also had the pasta and was Al dente and perfect. The staff was very attentive and the price was fair, would recommend 100%

12/11/2025: Our group ordered Mama Theresa's fetuccine, a four cheese pizza, meatballs, buffalo ricotta, and a Tuscan cold cut platter. We have absolutely no regrets. Everything on this menu blew our minds. Do yourself a favor and then thank yourself in the future for listening to this review by eating here. I'm telling you, this place has perfected the meatball, but everything is incredible.

18/10/2025: We were there tonight and had a wonderful time. We tried both meat and seafood appetizers, both rich and delicious. We recommend their eggplant, it's among the best we've ever had, truly unique. The first courses are delicious and the portions are generous. The carbonara is excellent (it's hard to find places that still make it properly), and the sour cherry tartlet is also excellent. The atmosphere is quiet, pleasant, and relaxing. The service is fast, and the waiter is extremely knowledgeable and professional. The owner is very friendly. Highly recommended restaurant in Genzano.

04/10/2025: Went there based on the excellent reviews. Service was too rushed and fast. The appetizers were good but not as rich as at other fraschette. The first courses were disappointing. The guanciale was overcooked but not crispy for both the carbonara and amatriciana. The place was too hot.

24/09/2025: I expected much more, especially the porchetta, which was a disappointment: dry and tasteless. The only plus point was the price.

11/11/2025: A spectacular Italian restaurant, unpretentious but with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, the kind where you feel instantly comfortable. We ordered the Trastevere menu: bruschetta pomarola, tonnarelli carbonara, and lemon escalopes. Everything was excellent: flavorful, hot, and plentiful. The house wine was among the best we tasted in Rome, and even the bread was incredible. The waiters were fantastic, very attentive, with great recommendations and always a smile. The prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality they offer. Highly, highly recommended; one of those places where you can truly enjoy a delicious meal.

20/10/2025: A corner of paradise in the center of Rome, a pleasant atmosphere, excellent quality products, and the prices are commensurate with the location. We'll definitely be returning.

19/10/2025: This isn't our first time at Matermatuta. The menu is always splendid: top-quality fish, with always original and absolutely delicious variations. Probably the best seafood restaurant in central Rome. The service is also remarkable: punctual, friendly, and helpful. Always a divine experience at Matermatuta.

18/11/2025: We went with TheFork, the fettuccine with ragù was good, the appetizer was a bit poor for the price.!! But it amazes me that we paid for the service plus bread, 4 mini slices, €3 each, that is, €6 service for 2. Then you get a €6 discount on the total excluding water. Three euros for a cover charge in an osteria is absurd, especially since I had to look for a waiter to clear away the dirty plates... and no one came for the second course and we left hungry. I don't think I'll go back, also because TheFork is a rip-off. I paid the discount with the cover charge 😡

22/11/2025: Apologies for the review The food was not tasty, the bread was dry, we ordered vegetable soup, bean soup with peas arrived - the waiter's answer was Roman soup...tasteless. Pasta with cold tomatoes, not tasty. Main course came out after everyone at the table had finished. Every course we wanted was said to be out of stock In short, I do not recommend going to the restaurant Big disappointment
