22/09/2025: We found this restaurant by chance, while looking for a place to eat typical Roman dishes. Although there were several places with good reviews, we trusted our instincts... and we were right! We ate truly delicious: traditional Roman dishes, carefully prepared using quality ingredients. The staff was very kind and professional, always available but not intrusive, maintaining the right balance between courtesy and discretion. A truly positive experience, which we recommend to anyone looking for an authentic and welcoming restaurant in the heart of Rome. We'll definitely be back!

13/10/2025: A restaurant with good potential, but several aspects need rethinking. We happened upon this restaurant on the main street while passing by, attracted by the good reviews. A small restaurant (about thirty seats) with a family atmosphere: the owner and his daughter are welcoming and kind, although the service is a bit disorganized. My companion had a half portion of chestnut and porcini soup, very good but very small (maybe three spoonfuls, for €7). Next, cod with porcini mushrooms, good and a decent portion. I ordered the "old-fashioned meatballs" (€14), expecting a home-style dish with tomato sauce or plain sauce. Instead, I received three fried and breaded meatballs, not specified on the menu. I had to remove the breading, and the result was disappointing. Aside, a portion of salad for €3—literally two leaves from a bag. The wine was very good, but overall we spent €54, and I ended up not eating. The place has good potential, but the portions, menu clarity, and value for money could be improved. The wait was quite long.

29/09/2025: I've been going to this osteria for many years. Ever since the first time with my family, I've recommended it to everyone, I tell everyone about it! It's a place steeped in atmospheres of the past, it reminds me of old Totò movies, it takes you back to that beautiful and authentic Italy of old. The food is spectacular! Tourists should go there to taste authentic Roman cuisine, and everyone else, well, do you remember grandma's cooking? You'll find it here!! The house specialties? Pork ribs and chicken cacciatore: I've never tasted more tender and juicy meat! But also eggplant parmigiana, chicory, roulades, meatballs, and pasta dishes—all excellent!! The owner is very friendly, and the waiters are very kind and professional. Go there, you won't regret it...

15/10/2025: The overall atmosphere is nice, but the food isn't that great. I went to try the oxtail stew after a local guide recommended it, but honestly, it was a bit greasy. And the oxtail stew is on the pricey side, considering there's not much meat left on the bones.

11/09/2025: Delicious!! I had such a wonderful meal here. For me, this was a truly outstanding steak. I'd never had such a perfectly grilled piece of meat before. Fantastic. It was incredibly busy, which speaks volumes, of course. The locals definitely appreciate this restaurant. And I'm so glad I had the chance to try it. Highly recommended!

30/08/2025: We first visited this place on our way home after getting off at Grizzana train station. We ordered chicken schnitzel (cotoletta di pollo), which was both hearty and delicious. Later, on a rainy evening, we came back with my wife and had two pizzas, one of them vegan, along with a local beer. The pizzas were perfectly baked, with crispy edges and excellent flavor. Prices are very reasonable. The indoor area is simple but acceptable. The staff is very kind and attentive. We were very satisfied on both visits and definitely recommend this restaurant.

23/09/2025: The restaurant has a touristy feel. Unfortunately, I didn't find any quality in the dishes I ate. The mozzarella is the standard kind you find at the supermarket. The prosciutto is also of modest quality. Even the tiramisu reminded me of the one from the refrigerated section of the supermarket. It has that sweet flavor that doesn't let you taste the coffee. One of the worst tiramisu I've ever had in a restaurant. Fettuccine with tomato sauce was even too ordinary. No wow factor. The grilled meat was good. But perhaps it's better to get a Florentine steak, which is actually a half Florentine. And anyway, I've had much better meat at other restaurants. The moral of the story is that perhaps a tourist might enjoy it, but a more discerning customer might be disappointed. It's a shame because the restaurant is large inside and has a beautiful fireplace that should be better utilized with more types of meat.

22/09/2025: A historic restaurant in Tivoli. I went there for dinner with friends but wasn't very impressed, perhaps because I had fairly high expectations. I ordered the amatriciana, which, however, lacked character, although it's still a good dish. The mixed grilled meats were good, but not quite excellent. The quality-price ratio was average for this type of restaurant, perhaps just a little overpriced for the quality and quantity offered. It's definitely a reliable restaurant, but I expected something better.

16/10/2025: In a welcoming atmosphere, with kind, attentive, and professional staff, I ate wonderfully, spending very little. I thank the waiter Giuseppe for his kindness, which made me feel like I was among friends. Highly recommended!!

19/09/2025: Sensational! Top two best pasta dishes I ate on the trip. The carbonara is simply divine. Their prosciutto is also 10/10. We ordered shrimp as a secondo piatto, and it was also out of this world. I have nothing but praise. I regret not getting dessert, but we were already satisfied. The restaurant is family-run, and everyone is so sweet. Even the nonna helps! It gives off that more "authentic" vibe. I didn't spot any tourists while we were there. We made a reservation with the help of Google Translate, as they only speak Italian, but it was very relaxed. We saw people arrive without reservations and couldn't get in. I absolutely loved it; definitely my favorite restaurant in Rome. Very welcoming, family atmosphere. Loved it!

09/09/2025: While searching for the location of another restaurant, I happened to encounter a sweet Italian-speaking grandmother at a grocery store to ask for directions. She took me to Cannavota. The interior looked very elegant, and we took her suggestion and sat down with our family. We tried seafood salad, pasta dishes, tiramisu, and a mixed fish platter. For beer, I tried the Menabrea beer, which was delicious. I highly recommend it. Each item was better than the next; it was a feast of flavors. The staff are all wonderful and sweet, and they communicate beautifully. If you're looking for a truly authentic Italian dinner, I highly recommend it.
