Both of our meals were delicious, but The focaccia bread was incredible. Riyad was our server who was friendly, attentive, and very understanding of our limited Italian vocabulary.

21/03/2026: I dined at this restaurant in Trastevere, and while the food was good and the staff were courteous, I was deeply disappointed with the bill, which I found bordering on unfair. I ordered something off the menu: Capellini with black truffle. On the receipt, the dish was priced at a whopping €45. An absurd price for black truffle (not the prized white truffle!), considering that the other first courses on the menu average €22. From the photos, it's clear that the quantity of truffle didn't justify a markup of more than 100% compared to the other dishes. Another sore point: two glasses of wine (Ghino di Tacco) were paid €20 each. For a glass of wine at this price, you're required to show the bottle and pour it in front of the customer. However, the wine arrived already poured, with no transparency as to the actual label served. €6 Water: Paying €6 for a bottle of water is an insult to the customer, especially in a neighborhood like Trastevere. A price that has no logical justification other than to inflate the final bill. In conclusion: the place is nice, but it feels like a system designed to inflate the bill on off-menu items and drinks. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a fair value experience. Pay attention to your receipt! 14/03/2026: Hidden among the narrow streets, we found this typical Roman trattoria. It has a friendly atmosphere and the owner is super helpful and attentive to his customers. The food is generous and delicious! If I ever return to Rome, it will definitely be a stop I'll make again.

We'd heard from word of mouth that this restaurant is known for its quality traditional Roman dishes, and we also appreciated the generous portions. All this at a price that seemed like something out of the past!

19/10/2025: There's Love and Passion I was invited to this place by a friend who knows the chef. The appetizer was a delicious breaded parmigiana skewer, an onion ring, and an eggplant meatball with a side of hummus. The first course was polenta with sparerib sauce, and spareribs and sausages inside were enviable! The welcome was top-notch! I immediately felt at ease and pampered. Since all the dishes are freshly made and not pre-cooked or prepared in advance, considering the place was full both inside and outside at the few tables on a small balcony overlooking Rome, we waited a bit before sampling these lovingly prepared and meticulously served dishes. The place, located in a narrow alley in the historic center, is simple, with wooden tables and warm-colored walls. It's welcoming and characterized by the presence of 27 ceramic tureens; I think it retains its original appearance, with its high ceiling and thick walls. The recommended wine is pleasant on the palate, and I also recommend making a reservation to access the restaurant for both lunch and dinner: you won't regret it!

12/01/2026: We ordered the set menu and were told they had lasagna. The lasagna portion was tiny, and they charged us extra for service and €6 for each glass of wine (which was absolutely awful). The price is unacceptable: €47 for two people for a single (small and very ordinary) lasagna and two glasses of wine. I don't recommend it. The service was friendly, though, and the place—empty—was clean and had a nice, unassuming feel.

11/01/2026: We stopped for lunch and ordered two classic dishes: spaghetti with clams and lasagna. We also ordered a parmigiana. I'd say the wine is also good and well-chosen. All that's left to do is come in and eat. Enjoy your meal.

05/03/2026: Truly excellent food, I ate an amazing carbonara. I recommend booking if you want to go, it's always full. The atmosphere is that of a typical Roman trattoria with a history and tradition.
