Always a pleasure dining at La Torricella with Augusto’s yummy menu. Primarily fish on the menu, but does have vegetarian options and some meat options. His side dishes (contorni) are always various wild veggies that are delicious and we love the mezzo pacchero with little squid. Also the squid and artichoke meatballs are the best!

Fish restaurant. They also serve meat. The service is good and friendly, the food is high quality. Good selection. The price reflects the quality. Traditional Roman ambiance. Few tourists. Highly recommended!

The Campofilone macaroni with DOP cherry tomatoes is delicious, a very fine egg pasta that melts in your mouth: you barely need to chew it. It's crowded on Sunday lunchtime, and rightly so. A friend of mine also had the pine nut ice cream—which I tried—and it was delicious; unfortunately, I didn't take a photo. I had the cream and wild strawberries; next time, I'll ask for pine nuts and wild strawberries.

Excellent and historic seafood trattoria, serving many traditional Roman dishes that are sadly disappearing. The menu varies greatly depending on the season and the catch, and the service is excellent even when the restaurant is full. I highly recommend booking, especially on weekends. A true gem in Testaccio.

The staff is always courteous and polite, and the place is very well-kept and welcoming (even the bathrooms, which are always clean).
