16/08/2025: Very cozy restaurant, both the setting and the staff. The dishes are delicious, sumptuous, and original (lasagna, panna cotta, or tiramisu). The prices are at restaurant level (gourmet - €160 for 2 adults and 2 teenagers, including aperitif, 1 bottle of Montepulciano, appetizers, secondo piato, and desserts).

29/09/2025: This is an old restaurant / place where locals go but in the center, so its always busy but they have seated us pretty quickly. Its a bit chaotic and all staff is rushing all the time. But their food is very good. Like home made meals that come out quick and are very tasty. Friendly staff but very quick and rushed. Carbonara was delicious! So was everything else we had!

06/10/2025: Terrible service! I ordered the supposedly Napoleonic pizza here and, after a two-hour wait, received a soft rag with far too little topping. Without the overpriced apple spritzer, my mouth would have immediately gone dry. Unfriendly and a complete tourist trap! 😖 Best regards, Robert

06/10/2025: I'd rather not give it any stars at all. The first course of pasta wasn't bad at all, but when we were served a car tire with sauce and vegetables, everything changed. The vegan alternative for the ice cream ended up being just an uncut apple.

14/10/2025: Last visit to La Villetta last Sunday. The appetizer buffet catered to all tastes, delicious and fresh. First courses included linguine with lobster, spaghetti with clams, and ravioli. Delicious and fresh, as was the fried fish. Salted caramel cheesecake....Top. You eat a lot, but you don't feel heavy. Despite the restaurant being packed, we didn't wait long to eat. The waiter was kind and courteous. I recommend it. Reservations are recommended because the restaurant is always busy, and obviously, the food is good.

13/10/2025: In a small group, everyone found something they liked. Excellent starter buffet and delicious main courses. The server is very friendly and gives excellent advice; impeccable service and excellent atmosphere.

08/07/2025: Terrible service. We were served extremely late and carelessly accompanied by annoying and out of place sarcastic statements from the owner. Seeing the other tables finish dinner without seeing our order arrive denotes in my opinion a profound rudeness on the part of the staff. Absolutely not recommended from the moment we kindly exposed the problem at the time of payment we did not receive any kind of courtesy on the price.

30/06/2025: By mistake the online portal made us book for a Saturday lunch when in reality the place would not have service. Mario welcomed us anyway and provided a table just for us. Incredible location, rare welcome and kindness, excellent food and fair prices. Highly recommended!

08/10/2025: What can I say, other than that it's one of the best restaurants in Rome. This restaurant welcomes tourists as much as locals, a guarantee of quality. A big thank you to the server for his kindness and his dish recommendations. A true discovery that perfectly rounded out our trip to Rome.

14/10/2025: We all ate very well (there were seven of us). In addition to the classic Roman first courses, the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms were excellent. The desserts were also delicious.

19/09/2025: A great restaurant carved out of a historic amphitheater. This is not your typical tourist trap. The majority of the people eating there were locals but the staff were very welcoming to tourists as well. The cheese and mustard plate is a must have appetizer. We truly enjoyed both of our pasta dishes as well. The restaurant is a little hidden away but worth finding. Honestly, sit inside because it is like traveling back in time.

17/08/2025: Located just steps from St. Peter's Square, the staff were helpful and, above all, CHEERFUL. We ordered carbonara, gricia, and amatriciana, and I must say they were impeccably prepared. As a Neapolitan, I wanted to try typical Roman dishes, and I was very satisfied. I recommend them to everyone.

17/08/2025: All the food is delicious, the meat was tender and tasty, and the pasta was delicious too. Marco served us and gave us very good suggestions and was very friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant.

28/09/2025: Great restaurant and the service was awesome..trying to find a place open early afternoon and this place was..and decent reviews..so...- Easy seating. Waited on very quickly. Maybe too quickly..as we barely had time to look at the menu.. Ordered the lamb and potatoes which was great. Potatoes were seasoned perfectly, lamb shank very tender. Although there was not much meat. A lot of ribs and a big leg bone. But it was very good, very tender. Just wanted more of it..!! Roman style Tripe was outstanding. Nice quantity of tripe, tender...the sauce was delicious. Lasagna was awesome. Large serving size.. The whole meal was wonderful. The service was excellent. Highly recommend.

28/09/2025: A simple restaurant near my house. I arrived late in the evening, hungry, and thought, "Let me stop in while they're still open." And imagine my surprise when I had a wonderful dinner for a very reasonable price, and the Tiramisu was simply amazing; I can't remember where else it tasted better!!! The pastas were delicious! They also serve bread and olive oil, and there are grissini on the tables. They make Aperol, even though it's not on the menu. The waiters are great. So, we'll be back again and again.

08/10/2025: I recently visited this place and was very pleased. The staff was incredibly friendly and responsive. All my questions were resolved instantly. And the calorie counting service with photos is just a brilliant solution! Now I know exactly how much I ate. Be sure to try it if you are watching your health!
