21/01/2026: Someone from the restaurant greeted us while we were searching for a place for lunch. The person did not ask us to go in to eat but just kind of said hi. We looked around for a little while and decided to eat there. The service was very friendly as one might imagine. We ordered several dishes to share. They were all very good. I especially liked the sauce of the Amatriciana. It was the first time I had this pasta and I liked it. The pinsa was interesting because somehow I thought it was a pizza but turned out to be a sausage with sauerkraut sandwich.

04/02/2026: Myself and Mum. 7.10pm. No reservation but a big smile. Do you have space for two? "ill check if the kitchen will have you. No, infact, we're closed" Ouch. But your front door says you open at 6.45. "Thats a mistake". Ahh.. (they hate tourists im thinking) "Come back at 7.45 we'd be glad to host you, but only outside" (its 3rd Feb and raining) 😂 I brought my Italian mother from Edinburgh in Scotland to eat the incredible food at this restaurant. Genuinely the best Italian food ive ever had. Apart from my mothers stuffed artichokes of course (see pic)😇 Our interaction, i fear was lost in translation. Sometimes shit happens. But can i say this.. restaurants were invented to host those travelling or unable, for what ever reason, to cook for themselves. The Food is subjective, and a mattee of taste but the objective should surely always be kind and gracious hospitality. You may think the opposite of course. ps. The food is so good we'll have to return, in a disguise😂

05/01/2026: We came from Savona and spent three days in Rome. During our stay, we chose this restaurant and can say we ate wonderfully. Authentic Roman cuisine, tasty and carefully prepared dishes, generous portions, and truly excellent flavors. Friendly and welcoming staff, pleasant and authentic atmosphere. A place we absolutely recommend to anyone who wants to savor authentic Roman cuisine. If we return to Rome, it will definitely be a must-visit!

12/12/2025: If you love seafood, look nowhere else and come here straight! This is one of the very few restaurants which serve superb spaghetti scoglio!! The mixed grilled seafood is also beyond words! うますぎてびっくり‼️

15/01/2026: Simply delicious. Excellent welcome (typical Roman). The Jewish-style artichokes were soft in the center and melted in your mouth, with a super crunchy exterior. The fresh, homemade pasta made to order was top-notch. I was lucky enough to have been recommended well by the locals. In fact, you won't find any tourists, and you have to be patient because the place is small and you might have to wait a bit (which for me is a sign of appreciation), but the service is efficient and fast. I can't wait to go back to try the lamb. Excellent value for money too. Just right.

10/01/2026: It's increasingly difficult to eat well in Rome because of all the restaurants trying to capture tourists. Luckily, I was recommended this restaurant, where I had a fantastic dinner. The food was delicious, the waiters were very kind. The price was absolutely reasonable. We'll definitely be back. The carbonara was exceptional, and the lamb melted in your mouth. For dessert, try the zabaglione ones.

06/01/2026: This restaurant is located in Trastevere. Clean, the staff is very attentive, and the waiters are fast and friendly. The Roman-style artichokes are incredibly tender, and the carbonara speaks for itself, melting in your mouth. We'll be back soon!

22/01/2026: Authentic Roman flavor. Kudos to Jonny for his hospitality and simplicity. The dishes are superb. The prices are fair. Unlike many other establishments, the order-and-pick-up formula is different from many others, as there are no waiters. Jonny is a spectacular host, always available to ask for feedback and answer any questions. Highly recommended, and above all, we'll definitely return.

02/02/2026: We went to this little hidden gem twice! The Cacio e pepe was the best we had in Rome. The prices are amazing (espacially the wine.) The servers are incredibly nice and the food came out quickly. Definitely worth a visist when in Rome.

06/01/2026: We stopped for lunch at this trattoria in Torre Spaccata. We were looking for home-style cooking, typical of our beloved Italy... and we were more than satisfied! The signature dish is homemade fettuccine... with a variety of toppings to choose from. The vegetables and bruschetta were excellent! And the tiramisu was spectacular! The owners were very kind and the service impeccable! We'll be back!

03/01/2026: Found online, it's in the middle of nowhere, with just a few tables, old-fashioned pub-style decor, and a limited menu. The appetizers are limited to various bruschettas, which are good. For the first course, homemade tagliatelle (nice and thick), simple but very good toppings (except the carbonara, which, unfortunately, wasn't convincing), sautéed new potatoes, and chicory. Homemade tiramisu (good). The service is friendly and very efficient. 35 euros per person, very fair. I'd say it was an excellent experience in an unexpected place. Well done.

19/12/2025: Fantastic traditional Roman dishes with fast service and a warm welcome. The first sitting at lunch is highly recommended, more so than the second sitting for obvious time reasons...but you should definitely try everything!!! 🤗😋😋

19/12/2025: It was a very pleasant surprise. In the suburbs, you wouldn't expect to find such high-quality dishes, such a wide variety of options, such professionalism, and, above all, low prices. They're truly excellent. Just be careful: always book; word of mouth spreads quickly and the place is always crowded.

04/02/2026: Dinner for two on a weekday. The waiter was very friendly, the dishes were delicious (Roman-style artichokes, amatriciana, fettuccine with artichokes and sausage), and the bill was more than fair. Highly recommended.
