21/03/2025: Talking about a visit, for lunch or dinner, to the Cervinia restaurant is to describe the pleasure of the owner Francesco in proudly presenting "family dishes"! Here you don't "revisit anything... because everything is healthily good! An example? Artichokes cooked in many fabulous ways, DOC first and second courses. A touching trifle, perfect and "ancient" as it should be, because it is made with the family recipe of the owner's grandmother. Cleanliness, classic equipment (VIVADDIO), smile and desire to work! RARE...BUT TRUE!!!

27/03/2025: At the request of the owner, in order to improve on what we can also make mistakes, I will explain my 2 stars: I would like to point out that courtesy is not lacking as is attention towards the customer, having said this, however, I would like to point out the following problems: My pasta was a first note with artichokes, bacon and pecorino as described on the menu and then I discovered that the pecorino is mentioned in the sense that they bring it to the table in the container and so I wonder why mention it in the name of the dish or is it part of the dish as an ingredient or not, otherwise we would have to put the wording parmesan or pecorino on every single first course I don't know if you understand me, if I eat for example a pacchero mussels and pecorino then it's not like they bring me a I pacchero with the mussels and that's it and the pecorino in the bowl with a teaspoon aside but I expect a dish in which the pecorino is an element of the recipe and not optional and served in the small bowl. Let's move on to the sandwich, it is explicitly requested not to put any sauce present among the ingredients and not only is it put but moreover a different sauce is put not even the one indicated, bad luck has it that the young boy who had asked for the sandwich out of shame says nothing and eats it like that and then only at the end fearfully tells me that he didn't like it but at 12 years old it can be understood even if then when I pointed it out at the time of payment as well as apologizing by blaming the frenzy of orders in the kitchen but honestly we arrived early and when we had ordered there weren't many people yet. Lastly, my wife's meat: she points out to the owner that she is undecided whether to take the meat or not as she doesn't like cooking it rare but at the same time she is afraid that by overcooking the meat it will become tough, a doubt promptly dispelled by the owner who reassures her by assuring him that he would have chosen a quality of meat that would remain soft even if it has a nice crust... in truth they serve him a hard and tasteless dry meat as unfortunately we expected from prolonged cooking and it fits but then I wonder why do you reassure me if it goes like this? Now in the final analysis I have to give credit to the commitment one has towards the customer, the commitment of the owner who goes around the tables asking for information etc... but here in my opinion in the kitchen we go a little too fast and think too much and finishing orders quickly because of the many place settings I imagine with little attention to what we are about to bring to the table in the sense that we should pay more attention that what we serve is actually done well and not just done on time. 27/03/2025: We stumbled into this amazing little gem hidden down a small side street last spring. Had been trying to remember where it was since, finally found it by looking at Google map. Unfussy and amazing food. Sat outside in the beautiful sunshine eating ravioli and amatriciana. It was artichoke season so of course had to have some of that. A true Roman dream. Reason for review is also so I can have a way of remembering where to return to on the next trip.

Super carbonara and tonnarelli cavio and pepper, as well as Roman-style artichoke and amazing desserts. In particular, try the ricotta and sour cherry tart! I had never been there and I must say that I tasted one of the best matriciana ever, abundant dishes, staff always smiling and attentive, with the other diners we appreciated all the courses of the evening and it entered with both feet among our restaurants to recommend, compliments

19/03/2025: Was our first meal in Rome and is our favorite meal in Rome! The tomatoes on the bruschetta were FRESH, the tiramisu was SO GOOD, and my boyfriend said that’s the best carbonara he’s had. Awesome service and easy to make a reservation too!

11/04/2025: Excellent value for money! The environment is not super but nice, I noticed obviously Lazio-based ornaments that perhaps I would have avoided (regardless of my football faith). Some kitchen odors remain on guests and clothing. Otherwise perfect! Really good and cheap and friendly, helpful and kind staff. Thank you! Well done! Good work! We will be back soon I hope! 😊

11/04/2025: The quaint restaurant provides a great selection of Italian dishes and wines in an intimate setting. Make a reservation as walk in tables are hard to come by especially for more than 2 people. The food was very flavorful with nice presentation. Would recommend for dinner if you are looking for a place after exploring the Roman forum or Colosseum.

The food was exceptional, the service and waiters were excellent and most of all it is very good value! 5/5. If your in Rome and looking for a place to eat this is definitely a top choice!

27/02/2025: Eravamo nei pressi della fontana di trevi e ci siamo imbattute in qs ristorante ci hanno dapprima assegnato un tavolo in posizione centrale poi abbiamo chiesto un tavolo meno centrale e siamo state accontentate.... Sedute ci portano il menu e a fianco a noi sedeva un signore che poi ho scoperto essere il titolare e che dire subito servite ed accolte da tutti in modo empatico .... Abbiamo preso un rigatone all amatriciana spettacolare ben porzianato di ottima qualità.... Se saremo di nuovo a Roma sarete la prima scelta!!!!! Grazie
