23/03/2026: Super little place if you’re looking for authentic pizza away from all the touristy spots. Service was great and the kitchen accommodated dietary needs. Opens at 6. We arrived at opening and had no wait but place did fill up quickly.

10/03/2026: Best meal we have had in Italy! We stopped here while cycling the Via Appia and had their Sunday lunch menu. Staff were friendly and helpful and the fresh pasta was delicious - better than the Michelin guide one we had in Rome!

03/03/2026: A simply fantastic experience at this traditional restaurant in the heart of Rome!
The service was impeccable: the lady who looked after us was incredibly kind and sweet, always smiling and attentive to every detail. She made us feel truly welcomed and at home.
And the food… wow! My carbonara was simply spectacular: incredibly fresh, perfectly creamy, and full of authentic flavor. You could taste the quality of the ingredients and the care taken in their preparation.
I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a truly Roman experience, with excellent traditional cuisine and exceptional service. I'll definitely be back!

22/03/2026: A classic Roman place serving home-style cuisine. Recommended because everything was very good and the pasta portions were generous (bombolotti).
Reservations are recommended because the place isn't very large, but the service was quick and appreciated.
We ordered supplì, bombolotti carbonara, a quarter of wine, water, and tiramisu. Prices were reasonable.

Excellent quality, courtesy, and helpful service.
It was a pleasure to chat with the owner.
Wide selection of wines and convenient parking.
The price is moderately high but in line with expectations.
Highly recommended.
03/03/2026: This is my second time at this restaurant, and it didn't disappoint either. The cuisine uses fresh, local ingredients, but isn't overly sophisticated. The staff is knowledgeable and courteous, as is the owner. It's out of the way, quiet, and I highly recommend it. There were also families with children, but it wasn't crowded. I'll definitely be back.

06/02/2026: Beautiful discovery.. through a friend we ate very well we went out for a 🍕 pizza and I must say excellent also good fried foods light and not very greasy ..... also excellent desserts with many varieties ... fast service even though the restaurant was packed (I recommend booking) kind and friendly staff very friendly ✋ .. I recommend trying ... we will return soon to taste all the varieties of fish that the menu offers....

10/01/2026: Roman and Abruzzo cuisine blended together. Steeped in tradition, Al Tinello d'Abruzzo is now in its third generation of family management. Recently renovated, the restaurant features two dining rooms, an open kitchen, and light colors.
We chose cod fillets, spaghetti alla gricia with artichokes, mutton skewers, and sautéed chicory.
A combination of Roman and Abruzzo staples. The ingredients are excellent, as is their preparation, cooking, and presentation. The service is professional and unobtrusive.
Located in the Tiburtina area, just steps from the metro, train station, and Tibus bus station. Good value. Reservations recommended.

08/03/2026: A pleasant family dinner after a visit to the Ara Pacis, which is quite close. A quiet place that makes excellent pizzas and delicious desserts (some homemade). I wanted to try the braised beef, and that was also decent.
The staff were friendly and helpful. Since they didn't show availability online, we called and they reserved a table for us, with the promise to leave by a certain time.
Average prices for the area.

18/03/2026: We found this place thanks to the Rough Guide (special mention to this book, you should definitely buy it). We arrived at a place that had remained untouched, it felt like being at our grandparents' house. The restaurant was lively with lots of regulars. We started with the house pasta, incredible, but I'll let you try it. We followed that with a superb osso buco and polpette, and it was delicious. My only regret? Having eaten too much to try dessert.

I learned about this place from Instagrammer Tabide's post, and it was really delicious 💟
12/03/2026: We enjoyed our time at this restaurant. The atmosphere here is pure italian, the waitresses are very nice and careful. We recommend 100% their house wine and their pasta Carbonara and Amatriciana. The food in there is delicious.
