10/07/2025: Some dinners are not talked about. They are kept, like beautiful secrets. But something inside me wants to say thank you today. And it does so by writing. All'Oro is not a restaurant. It is a theater of taste, where every dish is a scene and every bite is a pause, a breath, a pang of emotion. I chose the tasting menu. Six courses. Each different, yet part of the same story. The buttons in dry broth were poetry, a delicate balance between memory and invention. The "carbonara summary" reawakened something in me that I had forgotten: the power of simplicity reinvented. The service was impeccable, but never cold. I felt listened to, guided, welcomed. The sommelier knew how to describe the wine as if it were a memory, not a bottle. And in every gesture there was care. In every glance, respect. The atmosphere is silent, muffled, intimate. A perfect place for those seeking a moment alone, or with someone they truly love. The light is soft, and seems designed to let the flavors and eyes speak for themselves. I left in silence. Comossa. Grateful. Sometimes words aren't necessary to understand that you've experienced something extraordinary. But today I use them anyway, to say thank you. Thank you to those who create with love. 11/08/2025: I don’t often write reviews, however this is a much needed wake-up call for the restaurant owner and the staff (sorry, but you reap what you sow). I did a fair amount of research for our last dinner in Rome, looking only at restaurants which had a 4.5 rating minimum and I read a host of mixed reviews, some good, some bad. I only wish I had trusted my instincts and passed this one by - the negative reviews are absolutely spot on in my view. This was without doubt one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences I have had and i say that objectively. Read what others have written about the lax attitude of the staff who clearly don’t care about the restaurant’s reputation. They had no clue what wine they had available and after three failed choices on white, we went for a red, which the second waiter forgot, along with the beers and the ice for the water. Four bowls then arrived for five of us and none of the cutlery matched. Maybe all first-world complaints, but actually it amounted to a bit of a fiasco. The singular redeeming thing was the Primi course was pretty damn good, in particular the ravioli with burrata and cherry tomatoes. Sadly for me, a poor show delivered with a laissez-faire performance by the staff. Plus they serve beer in a wine glass. Sorry - I would not go back. Ever. No stars!

08/07/2025: Terrible service. We were served extremely late and carelessly accompanied by annoying and out of place sarcastic statements from the owner. Seeing the other tables finish dinner without seeing our order arrive denotes in my opinion a profound rudeness on the part of the staff. Absolutely not recommended from the moment we kindly exposed the problem at the time of payment we did not receive any kind of courtesy on the price.

30/06/2025: By mistake the online portal made us book for a Saturday lunch when in reality the place would not have service. Mario welcomed us anyway and provided a table just for us. Incredible location, rare welcome and kindness, excellent food and fair prices. Highly recommended!

18/08/2025: I can say that the place is not for every tourist. If you just eat pizza and regular pasta, then you'll have to pass by. But if you are looking for a truly authentic and high-quality cuisine, then you should definitely go to this restaurant. We didn't have a reservation, we just ran in for lunch, and the owner of the restaurant kindly took us to the hall, where you can catch a table only by preliminary reservation. As a result, we got a high-quality lunch and service. Pasta carbonara was amazing and meats. And also pasta ala ragout with white pig. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

16/08/2025: Very cozy restaurant, both the setting and the staff. The dishes are delicious, sumptuous, and original (lasagna, panna cotta, or tiramisu). The prices are at restaurant level (gourmet - €160 for 2 adults and 2 teenagers, including aperitif, 1 bottle of Montepulciano, appetizers, secondo piato, and desserts).
