15/11/2025: A wonderful place to enjoy an aperitif while watching people go by. Valeria, lovely, encouraged us to sit down, and the service was so incredible that we decided to stay for dinner. Silvio prepared a unique dessert right in front of us: profiteroles in pistachio cream covered in chocolate that you absolutely must try. Definitely worth repeating!

02/11/2025: This is my second time coming to this restaurant. The first time I tried the pizza, it was good. This time I tried the carbonara, and I didn't like it. But the part that bothered me was the payment. I only had €50 in cash, and the girl told me she didn't have change, and it wasn't her problem. So she offered to let me go get change. At that point, I could have gone and gotten change and never come back. But I didn't, and I asked for change. The girl got annoyed, took the money, and went to get change. I can understand if at a bar I pay €50 for a coffee and they tell me they don't have change, but at a restaurant they don't. And in any case, merchants are required by law to have change, not that the customer has to go and get change.

29/10/2025: It was great. I want to give special thanks to our server Mimmo who spoke excellent English and was extremely welcoming and polite. Furthermore, the service was impeccable all of the delectable food arrived very promptly as did our drinks. I highly recommend, great spot.

05/11/2025: An appetizer for two for €18 with vacuum-packed cured meats and mini bruschetta with stale, untoasted bread seems absurd to me. However, I buy the exact same fettuccine they serve at the Cecafumo market in Quadraro. Try it and believe it! The fettuccine are completely unrelated to the sauce. Amatriciana is made with burnt pork cheek, and the white ragù is terrible. In my opinion, they cook the fettuccine, put it on a plate, pour the sauce on top, and bring it to the table. The place is simply old, not vintage. Not worth it in my opinion.

02/11/2025: A small and welcoming place, the specialty is fettuccine, homemade, hand-cut, and delicious. The sauces are traditional Roman. The menu features a limited selection, but they're well-made, as they should be. I'll definitely be back.

16/11/2025: The polenta is really good, at least the one I tried with sauce, ribs, and sausage. The fish dishes are also high-quality. The service is attentive, and the atmosphere is relaxed. Prices are average.

04/11/2025: We went out for dinner tonight. We ordered three pizzas, a carbonara, a salad, and soft drinks. We had to ask for cutlery twice because one of us was missing some. The drinks arrived quickly, but the pasta took 30 minutes. The mixed salad was just a bowl full of whatever lettuce they sell at the supermarket. It took an hour to arrive, after we asked about the food because the pizzas hadn't arrived yet. The pizzas never arrived, even though we asked three times. I understand they're busy, but there were tables that arrived later and left before us. I can't really comment on the food; I only ate a handful of lettuce. We finally left after paying for the drinks, the carbonara, and the "mixed salad." And I still don't understand what service they charged us for, honestly. What a shame.

04/11/2025: We went for dinner today. We ordered 3 pizzas, a carbonara, a salad and some soft drinks. We had to ask twice for cutlery since we were ignored initially. The drinks came straight away, the pasta after 30 min. The salad took an hour after asking and realising they had not even taken the order and asking again… the pizzas never came after an hour and having asked more than 3 times to different staff members. We ended up leaving after paying for the soft drinks, salad and pasta. (“Insalata mista” means exclusively lettuce, if you ask)

09/10/2025: Terrible experience. Good food - OK But the owner is very rude. We sat at a table and he threw a tantrum at us because it was reserved. But there was no warning. I don't recommend it 😡

02/10/2025: We paid €50 per person for an appetizer, Roman first course, and dessert! The semi-agreed menu was around €35-40! I wouldn't recommend it.

08/10/2025: Da Carlone was recommended to us by a local tour guide and we are so glad it was!!! It was the best pasta we had in Rome! We ordered two pasta dishes. Huge serving sizes and absolutely delicious. Amazing wine. Beautiful family run restaurant.

07/10/2025: We ate at one of the best carboneras in the world. In addition to the authentic food, the waiters, their service, and their recommendations were very honest and accurate. The portions are huge without sacrificing any quality.

30/10/2025: We have been in Rome since Tuesday Oct 28 and have been coming here for all our meals. The food is so authentic their flavours are amazing and the portions are really huge. The owner Marco is so friendly and came to speak with us every time we visited. Our servers have been Mazid & Carlo and both of them have been so helpful and very accommodating to our requests. When next in Rome will definitely make it a point to visit this amazing restaurant. Shout out to the Chef for the yummy food. .

23/11/2025: Everything was very good. The atmosphere was typical of Rome's Testaccio area. The service and prices were average. The seating was narrow and cramped, as were the tables, which were all packed together.

03/11/2025: A very quaint, family-run restaurant with Roman food that tastes homemade. The waiters are incredibly attentive and kind; they replaced my dish without hesitation when I mentioned something about it, and even made several attempts to speak in Spanish or English to communicate with my parents, who don't speak Italian. I will definitely be back very soon, eager to try more of their delicious menu. Simply magnificent!

28/10/2025: I’m very satisfied — the pasta was tasty and carefully made with attention to detail. I also tried a new way to count calories — the service shown in the photo. It turned out to be incredibly simple and useful! Highly recommend it to anyone tracking their diet.
