02/11/2025: This is my second time coming to this restaurant. The first time I tried the pizza, it was good. This time I tried the carbonara, and I didn't like it. But the part that bothered me was the payment. I only had €50 in cash, and the girl told me she didn't have change, and it wasn't her problem. So she offered to let me go get change. At that point, I could have gone and gotten change and never come back. But I didn't, and I asked for change. The girl got annoyed, took the money, and went to get change. I can understand if at a bar I pay €50 for a coffee and they tell me they don't have change, but at a restaurant they don't. And in any case, merchants are required by law to have change, not that the customer has to go and get change.

24/10/2025: The best discoveries are the ones you discover by chance. You choose to avoid the busy Via Nomentana, choosing to walk along the parallel Via Alessandria, and you come across the eye-catching sign, Da Emilio. You decide to go in because when it's time—it was after 1:00 PM—and your stomach demands to be filled, you can't help but step through the door of this restaurant, which reveals to the traveler all its old-world charm. The cuisine is traditional, with a rich menu of Roman dishes and more. Authentic, sincere, and genuine are the adjectives that can be used for this Roman restaurant, which are well-suited to the dishes served at the nearby tables. The traveler, seated comfortably at his table, opts for broccoli and arzilla soup as his first course, and never could a choice have been happier, rewarded by the deliciousness of an ancient Roman dish, expertly cooked with the accompaniment of broken pasta. Next up was a superb paranza, which went down without a hitch, perfectly in keeping with the previous dish. The assimilation of the dishes was aided by a truly sincere and frank house white. The service was extremely courteous and efficient. The bill was fair. Truly deserved compliments. I'll be back.

17/11/2025: A great restaurant near the Vatican. The waiter, Mr. Paweł, who has lived in Rome for over 30 years, is a professional and a treasure trove of information about Rome. The food is delicious. We were there solely for Mr. Paweł and the delicious dishes he served.

16/11/2025: I'd go back! Unfortunately, we had a table near the kitchen, so it was a little louder, but it happens, it's random! Excellent burrata with gazpacho (which I would have liked to have been more generous). I then had spaghetti aglio olio peperoncino with shrimp. It was good and nice and al dente, but with a little more seasoning (garlic, chili pepper, shrimp) it would have been more satisfying, a matter of taste and palate. The tiramisu was amazing, with almost crunchy biscuits inside and a spectacular cream.

23/10/2025: A very good experience in this calm and welcoming place. Generous portions of food and pasta, fresh produce, and very well cooked! Far from being a tourist trap, the Italian dishes here are very good.

21/10/2025: A lot to choose from, nice antipasto , service was not good enough, the servers did not come, we had to get their attention to order our food. And one of the servers was rude and defensive, it dis not feel friendly. The pizza was delicious and the carbonara was meh, there are better options but the location is good. Another bad point is they dont do separate bills, so when you go with friends is not a good option. Overall i would go to another place but if you passing by it would suffice.

15/11/2025: A wonderful place to enjoy an aperitif while watching people go by. Valeria, lovely, encouraged us to sit down, and the service was so incredible that we decided to stay for dinner. Silvio prepared a unique dessert right in front of us: profiteroles in pistachio cream covered in chocolate that you absolutely must try. Definitely worth repeating!

03/11/2025: Good, great restaurant, I couldn't say more. It's been around for a long time, and has stolen the hearts of several generations. I'm returning after a long time, on a busy evening. The food is quality. I was disappointed by the parmigiana, as was the bruschetta with tomato, artichokes, and olives (I'd revisit the plating). I didn't find the wine (Dolcetto d'Alba) to be a perfect match for dinner. These are minor details; the broccoli was fantastic, as were the chicory and the meat. Perhaps too many sprouts scattered here and there. I would have highlighted the sprouts, perhaps by explaining why they're there... and what kind of sprouts they are. The staff, however, was excellent; they were extremely clean, quiet, and smiling. Congratulations.

01/11/2025: Always a guarantee, with a chic yet familiar atmosphere, excellent food made with consistently fresh ingredients and light, flavorful dishes, and impeccable, fast staff. Customer service is excellent, and the quality/price ratio is good. I recommend making a reservation.

As soon as you arrive, you're greeted by a warm, family-friendly atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. The restaurant is well-kept and welcoming, perfect for a relaxing day away from the chaos of the city. The cuisine is exceptional: I tried the wild boar stew, tender and flavorful, accompanied by broccoli, onion, and wine-sautéed cabbage, as well as a truly excellent cod. Everything, absolutely everything, was tasty, well-cooked, and prepared with quality ingredients. The staff is kind and attentive, and you can sense the passion that runs the restaurant. It's one of those places where you eat well, feel good, and always want to return. Highly recommended for those who love good food and authentic, traditional flavors! 🍷🍖🌿

Don't be fooled by the simple ambiance: the dining room is spacious and welcoming, and the atmosphere is reminiscent of a true trattoria of yesteryear. The cod with onions and potatoes is simply delicious, prepared with skill and flavor. The wild boar stew also deserves a special mention: tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Every now and then, you have to return to places like this: to relax your mind, escape the hustle and bustle, and fill your stomach with authentic food, made with love and tradition. 04/11/2025: We went out for dinner tonight. We ordered three pizzas, a carbonara, a salad, and soft drinks. We had to ask for cutlery twice because one of us was missing some. The drinks arrived quickly, but the pasta took 30 minutes. The mixed salad was just a bowl full of whatever lettuce they sell at the supermarket. It took an hour to arrive, after we asked about the food because the pizzas hadn't arrived yet. The pizzas never arrived, even though we asked three times. I understand they're busy, but there were tables that arrived later and left before us. I can't really comment on the food; I only ate a handful of lettuce. We finally left after paying for the drinks, the carbonara, and the "mixed salad." And I still don't understand what service they charged us for, honestly. What a shame.

04/11/2025: We went for dinner today. We ordered 3 pizzas, a carbonara, a salad and some soft drinks. We had to ask twice for cutlery since we were ignored initially. The drinks came straight away, the pasta after 30 min. The salad took an hour after asking and realising they had not even taken the order and asking again… the pizzas never came after an hour and having asked more than 3 times to different staff members. We ended up leaving after paying for the soft drinks, salad and pasta. (“Insalata mista” means exclusively lettuce, if you ask)
