22/04/2026: The perfect spot for chocolate lovers! Having been to Italian Bear Chocolate in London and Said Dal 1923 in Dubai, I had to visit the original location on my visit to Rome. The selection of chocolates are amazing, you're spoilt for choice! We also tried their dark hot chocolate with a dusting of cinnamon - much better than a powdered hot chocolate. The staff member on the day was very polite and the cafe was quiet, so a nice spot to enjoy a hot drink with a few chocolates. I would definitely recommend visiting Said Since 1923 when in Rome!

18/05/2026: Everything was fine, the service was good, the first courses were good. I wouldn't recommend it for one thing: the mixed grill, which was undercooked, except for the sausage, which was okay. The meat on the plate was invisible; only the white part of the plate was visible. That's why I also think the price of €15.00 is excessive. I hope it improves so I can recommend it to friends.

06/04/2026: Easter Monday was truly the best! I ate very well: home-cooked food, authentic and full of flavor, just like homemade. Everything was delicious and prepared with great care. The service was excellent: the staff were kind, fast, and always attentive. It was a wonderful experience, I would love to go back!

14/06/2026: I booked a table for five at 8:30 PM last night, Saturday, June 13th. Some friends and I were in the area to attend the concert at Shuster Park, which started around 9:30 PM. It was a NON-DINNER. Interminable waits, starting with the orders, which were taken about 20 minutes after we asked to order. We ordered a quick menu specifically for this purpose: various fried foods as appetizers and a chicory. Then three pizzas. Well, the fried foods arrived staggered; everyone watched one of us eat, otherwise, waiting for the rest would have made each one cold. At 10:00 PM, the three pizzas still hadn't arrived; we sat down at 8:25 PM. We pointed this out several times, and the manager or owner initially tried to argue, but then realized that our order was really simple: all fried foods and three pizzas. Nothing justified such a wait, which cost us more than half the concert. He agreed with us, but the idiots' reason, because we waited another 10 minutes. THE QUESTION IS: if you have a restaurant that seats so many people, you need to be able to organize a kitchen that can handle a full room. PERIOD. AND ABOVE ALL: if for any reason your organization creates inconvenience for the customer, you don't abandon a table to itself, you don't wait for the customer to complain and ask, but have something brought to the table to munch on to make up for the wait, which wasn't done despite our repeated requests to be able to eat. Not a single initiative was taken to apologize for the inconvenience. FURTHERMORE, NOT EVEN HALF A DISCOUNT... ARE YOU JOKING? DO WE HAVE TO PAY FOR A DINNER WITH ENDLESS WAITS, WITH THE COURSES ARRIVING IN ACCIDENTS? WHAT SERVICE SHOULD WE PAY FOR? NEVER AGAIN. I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND IT. BAD BAD BAD.

23/05/2026: Honestly, I felt cheated. We had a Smartbox that included a welcome aperitif with a bruschetta each (decent) and a glass of subpar prosecco (we couldn't drink it), a choice of starters that weren't particularly good and fairly tasteless, and a choice of three side dishes that weren't particularly good. The funniest part came with dessert: in theory, they could have chosen a house dessert, but in practice, only sorbet or coffee cream, and they were told it was all gone while the other customers were enjoying their tiramisu. Throughout all this, the table was practically on the street with a meager cover charge, and they were charged an extra €2.50 per person, which was undeserved given the filth found in the bathroom, with the window wide open and the unpleasant odors. Drinks were not included (we had a small Coke and a water). Moral of the story: they pocketed the Smartbox and an extra €10 for a dinner that was barely worth €10 per person. Never again and don't get ripped off

16/05/2026: I tried this restaurant during the weekend I spent in Rome for the Lazio-Inter match, having booked a week in advance on TheFork. The staff were very friendly and helpful, thanks in part to the owner's hospitality. He offered me a carbonara with paccheri pasta, freshly made by them. It was truly sublime, super. For my main course, I had the oxtail stew. It was good, but not to my personal taste. I don't understand the negative reviews. It's not true that the portions are small; look at the photos. We had a great time and I recommend it. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is because it's located on the outskirts, very isolated, and because we paid €6 for the coffee sorbet. Otherwise, the prices are fair, everything is fine.

06/06/2026: Please just go here, you won't regret it. It was so good we went twice in two days. We had the pinsas each time and I still can't stop thinking about how good they were. Lovely family also that own this place and they really made our trip. Grazie mille ragazzi.

06/06/2026: A decidedly awful experience. The place seemed poorly maintained: the floor was so sticky that even moving the chairs was a pain. I wasn't convinced by the service either: despite the restaurant being almost empty, we waited about 10 minutes for someone to come take our order, only to feel like we were being hastily dismissed before we'd even finished speaking. Given the place's reputation, I was definitely expecting more. I ordered a Margherita with buffalo mozzarella, and honestly, it was one of the least satisfying pizzas I've had in recent memory: lacking flavor, ingredients that didn't seem well-balanced, and a tomato that, to my taste, tasted practically raw. Personally, I don't recommend it, especially considering that in the Flaminio area there are much better places to eat with better quality and more attentive service.

19/08/2025: Ichiban Ramen & Street Food 1. Location (Access, Parking): Next to Hotel Marisa 2-minute walk from Rome Train Station 2. Hours (Closed, Break Times, Wi-Fi): Open 24/7, no breaks, free Wi-Fi 3. Friendliness: Not friendly, but not rude either. It's chic. 4. Cleanliness: Overall, it was clean (the bathroom was clean too). 5. Menu & Taste: Ichiban Ramen & Donburi (Meat Bowl) I was craving Korean food and was planning to visit a Korean restaurant, but luckily, there was a Japanese restaurant my family loves right next to our hotel. The ramen we ordered was light, not salty, and delicious. The meat bowl donburi was also delicious, with a sweet pork rib marinade and easy-to-eat cubes of meat. The interior had a Japanese feel, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to try Japanese food in Europe.

31/05/2026: We stopped in here for a bite to eat before a show at the auditorium. After a few bites, a dead COCKROACH was on our plate under a meatball. Naturally, my stomach tightened, so we called the waitress (who was very kind!) to show her the whole thing discreetly; it shouldn't happen, but it can happen. We got up to leave, but the bill was still €16 for a spritz, a half-liter of water, and small snacks. I thought it was unfair to charge us, given the discreetness shown and despite the fact that they knew about my partner's pregnancy, and this will cause concern.

25/04/2026: It's a bistro bar where you can eat very well. There's a wide selection of food, from starters to main courses and side dishes. Delicious homemade desserts. The atmosphere is quiet and the service is very good. I often go there when I'm in Rome because it's close to the Flaminia Stadium, where you can find parking and escape the hustle and bustle of the city center!

14/04/2026: We went on a Thursday evening for the famous carciofata, but I was disappointed by the small portions and the fact that the artichokes were only a small side dish for each course. As an artichoke lover, I would have expected a nice Roman-style or Jewish-style artichoke, given the theme of the evening. But overall, I liked the location and the service. We'll definitely be back.

28/05/2026: We came with a group of friends and were thrilled! Roman pizza with perfect dough, super digestible and delicious. The zucchini flowers and supplì are also a must-try, and to top it off, there's a wide selection of desserts and ice cream. We'll definitely be back!
