Fantastic Roman food and incredible gin selection

I've been to this restaurant a couple of times for dinner with colleagues/romantic interests, and each time was a confirmation. The food is truly excellent, serving Roman and Abruzzese dishes (the amatriciana is Abruzzese, even if the Romans will deny it... but I had the carbonara anyway). But the real difference is the atmosphere. The staff is incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful, and the owner deserves a special mention: besides being super down-to-earth, he makes fig cocktails (?) that are simply unbeatable and listens enthusiastically (?) as you tell him your life story, even saving you money on a psychologist. It's not just a restaurant where you eat well, but a place where you feel good. And you'll gladly return, to try grandma's famous meatballs, but also, and above all, to annoy the owner (just kidding).

The restaurant is in a very convenient location and is very beautiful. The owner and staff are friendly and professional. The food is top-notch. We tried Gricia carbonara and tonnarelli cacio e pepe for starters, and a cheese platter with honey and fig jam and chicory for appetizers. The desserts are exquisite: the Baileys crepe is simply breathtaking, and the zuppa inglese and zabaglione dessert are also very good. I highly recommend it. Thanks guys, we'll be back soon.

You EAT and DRINK Divinely it feels like being in Rome, the lady is very nice and the boy who makes the aperitifs is very knowledgeable.

Very nice atmosphere in a quiet, peaceful area. Good carbonara, especially the guanciale, which is truly special. The warm bread is more than good, if not a little too salty. Average prices. Everything is accessible except for a few steps. Very friendly staff, especially the lady, who is friendly and down-to-earth. Recommended for a stopover.
