27/09/2025: The restaurant has decent prices and small portions. I believe that if a dish is very tasty, its price is justified. A small vitello tonato for 22 euros – yeah, okay, it's delicious! But a chicken salad with lettuce, boiled chicken, and apple slices for 15 euros is overkill, unreasonably expensive. I'll also note that they make a very strong Aperol Spritz here. The interior is nice. We also liked the service, except for the payment: they added bread to our bill, which we had initially refused. After we pointed it out, they removed it, but it left a bad taste in our mouth.

Non male antipasto della casa (anche se di latticini come detto a voce, solo una mozzarellina piccola da dividere in due, nessuna presenza di formaggi). Purtroppo non soddisfacente la carbonara ( non convinceva la cottura dell'uovo e della cremina annessa, passaggio fondamentale per un'ottima carbonara, piatto non facile) e la stessa cacio e pepe troppo tendente alla cremosità che alla lunga disgusta. Non oltre la sufficienza. Prezzi nella norma.

30/09/2025: Had the ragu & it was amazing. However, the waiters did that weird thing where they put those disposable bibs around you - very off putting for a nice restaurant & not necessary for a classic pasta dish. Also had a high cover charge & drinks were marked up considerably.

19/09/2025: It felt from the moment we walked in that we are not welcomed. Menus came a while after we set, one of the servers cleared our starter before we finish, didn’t even ask. Same person kept on bumping into our seat with no regards to his surroundings.

07/09/2025: Terrible service. They kicked us out and no one came out to see if we needed anything. We had to go in several times to call the waiter and order. When the appetizer with cured meats arrived, we asked for bread several times, but unfortunately it arrived when we were already at the main course. The waitress, after we came in to ask if someone would come to the table, gave us a rude answer. They ruined our lunch with the terrible service. I'm still waiting for someone to serve us at the table... Disgusting!

11/10/2025: They told us they had happy hour on beers. When we had to pay, they refused to give us any happy hour price. They said they never have happy hour, whilst the guy outside calling people in kept yelling happy hour. A total scam. Dont go there.

04/10/2025: Well, let's start off with the service. They kind of forget that we were even here. They begged us to sit down in their restaurant, but yet forgot that we were there. Not sure but looks like the staff are all In d ians, not sure what that's all about. The lady seemed to rush through our order. Then, they left us like we weren't here anymore. It would have been lovely to have been asked if we needed something more to drink as we struggled through their super dry schnitzel. The food, pretty decently close to German food, but not really what I remember from my time living in Bavaria. Overall, the experience was ok but the service needs some work. Ok, I'm writing this the day after eating there and my wife and I are deathly ill after eating the wienerschnitzel. Do yourself a favor and don't eat here

22/08/2025: I had been there last year and I had a very good time, I returned this year and, unfortunately, I did not find the quality of last year, oxtails alla vaccinara, last year excellent, this year barely passable with a strong aftertaste of wine, meatballs, very basic and with a very liquid tomato sauce, artichokes alla giudia, disappeared from the menu, the cutting board and the lamb were good, the trinità appetizer could be improved, mozzarella overcooked and courgette flower almost raw inside.

Average food, confusing service, a long wait, and a rude owner who, when we were late for our reservation, scolded us like schoolchildren in a confidential and arrogant manner, certainly not welcoming to customers who travel so many kilometers to get there. I can understand her handing over the reservation to others given the influx, but I don't understand being treated rudely, given that getting to the castles on a Sunday can cause a delay due to traffic. It ruined my lunch.
