Ristorante Rugantino In Milano

We had dinner for two, we had a carbonara (delicious) and a pinsa (good, average). The prices are understandable compared to the location of the restaurant as it is centrally located with respect to the columns of San Lorenzo. Friendly staff only flaw -> not very familiar with English. I had to translate to the waiter what my partner who doesn't speak Italian but only English wanted. Vintage and refined environment. Recommended but if you have a budget of at least €30/40 each.

The restaurant, although located at the end of the columns of San Lorenzo, is not affected by the characters who populate this place in the evening, very quiet, the staff very courteous. I had already been to Rugantino with a friend of mine, this evening I came back because I wanted Roman cuisine, I arrived 20 minutes ago and I already had my order taken and the wine was served, Excellent service efficiency, well done, Now let's wait to see how the dishes I ordered will be, First round went tonnarelli cacio e pepe TOP, the service was also excellent, the addition of pecorino at the table to "mix" everything and an excellent idea, Beef fillet with potatoes and sautéed chicory, Meat cooked as requested, medium rare, potatoes are very soft and cooked to perfection, chicory is not one of my favorite dishes but I have to say that overall it is good, so far I would say everything is good, Short cigarette break, so I'll give the food time to dry up the wine I've drunk so far, then I'll order the prawns in cognac and let's see how they are, for now I have to say that I'm very satisfied with my dinner and my evening Prawns sautéed in cognac, very 80s recipe but I must say very tasty, prawns cooked perfectly, flavors blending sublimely, I can say that I recommend this place without a shadow of a doubt, the guys in the room are very knowledgeable and complete, friendly and dynamic, really good!

Exceptional dinner with my parents. Very good atmosphere and at the end of the night they play music. Very lively bar. The waiters serve phenomenally and usually have some detail with the customers. We loved it.

Great food, great service, great prices, great location. In the center of Milan the flavors of Roman cuisine, what more could you want?

Il ristorante si trova in centro Milano, alle colonne di San Lorenzo. L'ambiente è molto "caldo", io ho percepito una bella atmosfera. Il personale è assai gentile e coinvolgente. Tutti piatti classici romani presenti. Ottima carbonara , cacio e pepe e acciughe e pecorino. Una nota particolare alle puntarelle, veramente deliziose. Conto non economicissimo (il coperto a €6 francamente eccessivo) ma a Milano ci può (purtroppo) stare. Con una sforbiciata di 10 euro a persona le palline diventerebbero 5.

Delicious Roman cuisine in the center of Milan.

Very good Roman cuisine. Service is pretty good and fast. In summertime, sitting outdoors, in the shade of Porta Ticinese is a true privilege. Indoors it is a bit dark.

Good food, excellent service, really nice atmosphere, I found myself in a place where the waiters are very nice, very good food, and as already mentioned excellent atmosphere. Even though we are in Monza the food tastes like Rome to me, the portions are really generous to fill you up. Truly an excellent restaurant

Ristorante romano a Milano !! Era da tanto tempo che non venivo a cenare da Rugantino - il posto è molto affollato forse troppo per i miei gusti - decorazione piuttosto rustica ma elegante. Cibo non male iniziati con le puntarelle per continuare con abbacchio alla giudea contorno puntarelle ( scorpacciata di puntarelle ) . Bevuto acqua - caffe - prezzo Euro 44 a testa non particolarmente a buon mercato. SErvizio molto attento.
