08/08/2025: The location is truly beautiful. The places to eat or have an aperitif are truly overpriced. With an aperitif, you don't even need two chips or peanuts.

07/07/2025: I expected more stalls with books and interesting things, instead I only found the usual things to eat that you eat in the common pubs, and stalls with objects that you can buy for much less in the markets.... Then walking along the Tiber an unpleasant smell of sewers. Disappointing...not to mention the buses that skip trips and the metro with rude people, sleepers on the seats occupying 4 or five, homeless people, and at the stops no type of control by the armed forces. Practically anything can happen and no one sees anything.

06/09/2025: NOT a good experience! Cacio e pepe, full of oil like the rest. Carbonara "frittata." Strips of Danish pastry were tough, overcooked, and without even a leaf of lettuce to serve! Raw steaks were so greasy they were unbelievable. What a treat Gina made! Il Matriciano!

29/08/2025: Excellent osteria in the center of Rome, a very cute place with super friendly staff and fast, perfect service. The quality of the food is excellent; it's the first and, I believe, only place in the center of Rome that serves proper Roman cuisine. I found the guanciale crispy in the gricia and carbonara. A 10/10 value for money.

29/08/2025: I went to Hostaria Isidoro with my girlfriend, after walking around near Colosseum, we were tired so it felt like finally a good stop. I had carbonara, it was rich creamy, maybe a bit too salty or maybe it was just the pecorino too strong but anyway I liked it, filling enough, not heavy, I kept mixing it because pasta was sticking a bit. She got pizza, thin crust hot from oven, cheese and tomato just right, nothing fancy but tasted real good. Inside atmosphere cozy rustic, people talking loud, laughing, I lost track of our own talk sometimes but that’s okay, felt more local than touristic. Service was kind of slow at start or maybe just me being hungry, but then waiter explained some dishes, friendly guy, shirt a bit wrinkled but whatever, didn’t rush us. Prices not cheap, close to attractions so I guess normal, I keep saying it was fair enough even if I’m not 100% sure. We left happy, thinking maybe we come back, or maybe not, depends how crowded next time.

20/07/2025: Cibo di pessima qualità, servizio discutibile e ovviamente pos non funzionante. Per quanto riguarda il cibo mentre il mix di fritti e bruschette con pomodoro erano accettabili, non si può dire altrettanto della pizza che sembrava surgelata, sia per l'impasto che per i condimenti (la margherita era acidula, forse per colpa del sugo o per colpa della mozzarella che sapeva di formaggio). Il servizio lascia a desiderare per atteggiamento scortese, menù non presente, è stata anche ordinata una pizza con patate e salsiccia "fuori menù" ma poi è arrivata con patate e wrustel. Tralasciamo poi il pagamento in contanti che ha del ridicolo. Il locale è alla pari di un ristorante italiano all'estero di quelli in cui si sconsiglia a tutti di andare

17/08/2025: I am extremely dissatisfied with the service at this establishment. While we were seated promptly, we were entirely neglected thereafter. We waited at least 30 minutes without anyone approaching our table, not even to provide menus—ultimately, we had to take menus from a nearby table ourselves. Even after deciding what to order, we still received no service after a total of 45 minutes so we left and went elsewhere. During this time, I observed only three other tables in the restaurant, all of which were being served. 2 tables had to ask where there food was or that something was forgotten and it was not busy at all. Given that I have a visible cross tattoo on the back of my neck as an expression of my Christian faith, I cannot help but feel that this may have been the reason we were ignored. In short, if you are willing to wait over an hour simply to be acknowledged, and risk experiencing discrimination based on your religious identity, this may be the place for you. Otherwise, I strongly advise looking elsewhere.

17/08/2025: We had booked online in early July 2025 for Saturday, August 16th, at 9:00 PM. Just to be safe, I also called the restaurant and the reservation was confirmed. The surprise came that same evening: the restaurant was closed. I received no notice of the closure, and we had to make do with dinner at one of the nearby restaurants. Only then did we learn, from local restaurateurs, that there was a fee to hold the reservation, something we hadn't been informed of previously.

25/08/2025: The place is charming and very well-maintained. The service is discreet and courteous, and the ingredients are of the highest quality. The wine list is adequate. Definitely worth a try!

23/08/2025: Classic Roman restaurant with authentic cuisine. Excellent meat platters and delicious desserts. Impeccable service. Good selection of wines with excellent pairings.

17/07/2025: The staff were friendly, but the atmosphere was very basic. The good thing was the value for money: €25 for two first courses (gricia), water, service charge, coffee, and two panzanella appetizers. Otherwise, the gricia wasn't great. There wasn't the classic creamy sauce made with pecorino cheese. I wouldn't go back.

06/09/2025: There was an unexpected €4 item on the bill (out of a total of €15) that we didn't order - bread. It was brought by a waitress who didn't mention that it was charged.

05/09/2025: One of the best pasta dishes you can try at Eoma, without a doubt. Phenomenal value for money, the dishes were plenty full.

20/05/2025: Piacevole scoperta in un quartiere ancora vivibile e poco conosciuto. Locale molto spazioso con ampio spazio esterno. Atmosfera vivace e familiare da osteria di quartiere. Personale amichevole e spontaneo. Cibo curato e di buona qualità. Sicuramente ci tornerò in una prossima sera d’estate.

06/07/2025: Finally a place that really deserves it. Quiet, without too many frills. Sunday lunch, peppered mussels very good and abundant, mussels cleaned very well. Spaghetti allo scoglio also very good and with lots of fish. It is a pleasure sometimes to discover these places a little more inland compared to the beach resorts on the sea, where sad to say very often you are disappointed either by the quality or the price. Thanks to the managers for their kindness.

29/08/2025: We went for lunch today, spaghetti with clams without flavor with 3 clams placed on top and in fact they remained on the plate as they were brought, passable appetizers, then we order calamari with Catalana, I ask specifically what it is and they tell me CLASSIC CATALANA with calamari, I get calamari yes but with radicchio and taggiasca. We complained to the waiter and then to the cashier but the beauty is that the owner during the whole lunch and when they were arguing at the cashier never deigned to get up to understand what had happened, he was the whole time with his head bowed on the smartphone, in administration they deducted the famous "Catalana" but with a lot of anger and reticence. It is really not worthy of the service it offered years ago, very poor in terms of quality of food and indifference of the owner. Never again

28/08/2025: The views here are absolutely stunning—make sure to check out the rooftop garden, it’s beautiful and adds so much to the overall experience. The pasta was truly outstanding, probably the best I’ve had: perfectly cooked with that ideal texture—not mushy, but soft and firm at the same time. The sauce was simple yet full of flavor, proving that sometimes less is more. The starters were also really enjoyable, and I’d definitely recommend ordering both the pasta and appetizers if you come here. The steak, while tasty and well-prepared, wasn’t as spicy as we would have liked. That’s the only reason I took off one star. Still, the flavors were there, and overall the experience was excellent. I’d happily come back and recommend this place to anyone looking for good food with amazing views.

21/06/2025: The food is delicious!!! I especially recommend the carbonara. The waiting time is not long, the staff does not speak English and it is quite difficult to communicate.

19/09/2025: This is a tavern with friendly, family-run owners and a very homey outdoor setting with mismatched tables and chairs and individual paper tablecloths, but that's fine considering the excellent cuisine and the very reasonable prices compared to the average.
