A very good experience at this restaurant, with a traditional atmosphere and delicious food. Impeccable service and a wonderful meal! Special mention for the pasta al otello!

A strange pizza (€17, no less!), it looked more like a large open-faced sandwich than a pizza: slices of raw mozzarella, Parma ham, cherry tomatoes, and green pesto cream arranged on the pizza dough. We expected the cheese to be melted. Nevertheless, the dough was good and the ingredients were decent. The service was adequate, but there was no thank you or goodbye upon departure. A recommendation from the Routard guide that we do not endorse.

The best restaurant I found on my trip to Rome. Our hotel was in Piazza di Spagna, and our host recommended this restaurant. We tried a lot of restaurants all over Rome, and this was the best. The quality-price ratio is unbeatable, and the service is impeccable: they remind you, guide you, make recommendations—everything was excellent. The food is delicious, and the price is very low. The wines are superbly priced, which is much appreciated and makes the meal a truly memorable experience. You go to the renowned restaurant next door, and the wines are outrageously expensive, but the food is considerably worse. We went back three times during our short trip, and I regretted not going more often. Wonderful.

06/06/2026: A truly beautiful ambiance and a wonderfully family-friendly environment. This restaurant offers an authentic local experience, featuring a fantastic menu centered around traditional Lazio cuisine. Complete with a lovely outdoor garden and very affordable prices
27/05/2026: We went to Calice d'Oro this weekend for lunch after a recommendation from some friends. The food was good; we ordered appetizers and Roman-style first courses. While the appetizers arrived promptly, we had to wait a good hour for the first courses. We know the restaurant is busy on weekends (and we're thrilled for you), but ordering at 2:00 PM and eating at 3:10 PM isn't ideal. Plus, my amatriciana was a little too al dente for my taste. For three appetizers, two pasta dishes, a Coke, and a water, we spent €30 per person.

25/04/2026: We stumbled upon this place by chance, looking for a restaurant and reading the reviews, and we were very impressed. The first courses, meat main courses, and desserts were excellent. The crumble was delicious, and the staff was kind and friendly. We'll definitely be back.
