Authentic Roman cuisine, a relaxed atmosphere, and a very friendly owner and staff. I went here because my group had made reservations, and it was a pleasant surprise... I'll definitely be back! Everything was delicious!

What an incredible experience at Lo Convento! From the moment we arrived, the service was absolutely outstanding. We ordered the Carbonara, sorbet, tiramisu, along with wine and beer, and every single item was fantastic. The Carbonara was authentic and full of flavour, the tiramisu was one of the best we’ve ever had, and the sorbet was the perfect way to finish the meal. A special thank you to Marco, who was without a doubt the best server we’ve had during our time in Rome and possibly EVER! He was friendly, attentive, welcoming, and made our visit truly memorable. We were also proud to be the first Welsh people to visit, which made the experience even more special! The atmosphere, food, drinks, and exceptional hospitality combined to create a perfect evening. If you’re visiting Rome, Lo Convento is an absolute must-visit. We had an excellent time and can’t recommend it highly enough. Grazie mille, Marco and the whole team!

A typical Roman trattoria, with a pleasant atmosphere. I'd classify the food and pizzeria separately. In summer, they could use more powerful air conditioning. Indoor parking is available.

Good food at a low price. You can sit outside comfortably under cover, and many locals come here. Highly recommended!

We stumbled upon this place by chance, looking for a restaurant and reading the reviews, and we were very impressed. The first courses, meat main courses, and desserts were excellent. The crumble was delicious, and the staff was kind and friendly. We'll definitely be back.

Magnificent service and food, a little dimly lit but the food is really good, I will definitely go back as soon as I return to Rome.
