06/09/2025: Unqualified staff. The lady brought the plates with her thumb in the food, the bottle of still water had the cap already open in the fridge, visible and served. There was a large hair in the supplì plate; when I asked for a change, they brought me the same supplì, only removing the hair. Three first courses on the menu were unavailable, the same for the second course. Not to mention the cleanliness of the bathroom downstairs, which smelled bad next to a cupboard under the stairs where the pizza chef was baking pizzas among wine boxes piled everywhere, even on the already set tables. The tablecloth was stained and slippery from dust, and the glasses upside down on the table smelled bad.

04/09/2025: A trattoria-style place from days gone by. On two separate occasions, I've had the opportunity to try their cacio e pepe and one of their main courses with sides. Everything was excellent, with generous portions at a reasonable price. The dining room makes you feel right at home.

11/07/2025: A typical neighborhood restaurant that maintains the charm of a cuisine based on traditional Roman dishes. The atmosphere is casual and authentic. On Thursdays, the spinach gnocchi are absolutely unmissable!

09/07/2025: Excellent experience. Very good and plentiful dishes, as per the tradition of ancient Roman taverns. Fair prices, and very friendly and helpful staff.

30/06/2025: All the staff were so welcoming and the food was top quality. I asked for a turbot because all are sold out and when I arrived two days later it was there and cooked perfectly. The atmosphere is authentic of a family trattoria Mama is the kitchen and Papa and two sons are Canarian. Such a pleasant evening.

25/06/2025: La trattoria Romana dei film di Alberto Sordi, Aldo Fabrizi… e di tutte quelle scene che ti facevano venire voglia di mangiare… beh se vai a mangiare da Emilio… resterai senza parole… dal personale sempre sorridente e professionale, al clima “familiare”, alle pietanze cucinate in modo che sembra di mangiare la domenica a casa quando cucinava mamma a pranzo… Solo una parola: COMPLIMENTI!!!

04/06/2025: I was in this restaurant last night with my family and it was a really pleasant surprise, the atmosphere was welcoming, quiet, reserved despite being in Trastevere and in addition the guys who served us were very nice and polite. Excellent food both in taste and presentation of the dish. Advantageous prices, I recommend it!

22/07/2025: The only thing I could improve on: the prosciutto is served on a tray with ice, and then everyone takes their portion and places it on their plate without ice. Here, however, today they served my prosciutto with a mountain of ice underneath, right on my plate. With all that ice, it was difficult to separate the flesh from the shrimp and scampi.

10/09/2025: It was a pleasant surprise. A 60-year-old restaurant that maintains a simple, classic decor and doesn't leap to pretension. I appreciated the fact that it didn't try to be a clone of so many others. It focuses on good food, and I loved that. The appetizers, like the reinterpretation of the '80s scampi cocktail, were delicious and varied. The breast baked in the oven melted in your mouth and was exquisite, as was the fillet Wellington. The courteous waiter and delightful owner did the rest. It was a wonderful evening with friends.

31/08/2025: An absolutely positive experience! We ate typical Roman dishes and found them delicious! The coda alla vaccinara is a must-try. If you get the chance, ask Paola to tell you the story of Ardito, which is one of the few historic restaurants in Rome still open!

03/08/2025: We were there after a concert at the Stadio olimpico. Surprisingly this restaurant was still open. Twice Cacio e Pepe, was lovely and especially nice to get some heartwarming food at 00:30 am. Would recommend

19/08/2025: We went in two for a quick lunch, ordered two cacio e pepe, water, coke zero in a can and 1/4 of the house white. Primo in the norm both for taste and quantity, pasta service fast but unfortunately apart from the water drinks never arrived. Water and two cacio e pepe 28 euros.

29/08/2025: Touted as a pizzeria with excellent pizza, I stopped going there because they no longer sold pizzas, but coal in the shape of pizzas. Prices are significantly above average, and they even char the pizzas, forcing people to choose between eating them and getting cancer, or throwing away half the pizza (recommended). No comment.

03/10/2025: Even though nothing seemed exceptional to me, I think it's fair to say that the food in this historic Testaccio restaurant isn't bad, but the price paid (70 euros, including tip) for 2 starters, 2 first courses and a 375ml local wine is, in my opinion, a bit high.

01/10/2025: A traditional trattoria serving traditional Roman cuisine. I went specifically for the rigatoni with pajata, which I confirm is very good. The menu features all the traditional Roman dishes, with a special focus on the quinto quarto (stuffed pork shoulder). Service is a bit slow but very attentive. Good value. Worth a try.
