20/06/2025: Ristorante scelto dai miei amici che già in precedenza lo avevano apprezzato e di cui sono stata ospite. Devo invece dire che la mia esperienza non è stata positiva: il locale è molto bello, curato e avrebbe tutte le carte per farti vivere un'"experience", ma purtroppo la qualità dei piatti che abbiamo assaggiato ha lasciato molto a desiderare, nonostante le promesse della Carta. Porzione di primi scarsa, la cotoletta orecchia d'elefante secca sembrava del giorno prima, ho fatto fatica a deglutire i bocconi, oltretutto con contorno ridicolo di 2 datterini tagliati in due di numero... deludente anche la scarola in padella con uvette e pinoli, coriacea e difficile da masticare. Tempi di attesa abbastanza lunghi, per fortuna I camerieri tutti molto gentili, ma non basta a farmi tornare. Peccato veramente, soprattutto per chi ha pagato la cena.

19/06/2025: A pranzo per una festa di famiglia, bella location,ottima cucina e presentazione dei piatti; gentilezza , disponibilità e quant’altro di positivo riferito a gestori e personale. Qualità del cibo più che buona e attenzione particolare al menu per celiaci. Consigliatissimo!

09/06/2025: Best restaurant we have visited in Rome. Desserts are amazing too! Update - had a bad meal experience at another restaurant so came back here just for the amazing dessert to cheer us up. The waiter shouted at us in front of everyone and refused to seat us only for dessert. Embarrassed and disgusted by his arrogant behaviour. I had given them 5 stars but reduced now to 1. This is not the way to treat customers.

21/07/2024: I have been to this place with friends who knew it. The owner was very kind and attentive, as were the rest of the staff. I tasted several dishes and I can say that they were all really good and very well presented. I am sure that I will return to taste other dishes! I would also like to add that some of the dishes mentioned below are not there, as they are part of the winter menu but have been replaced by other dishes in line with the season. Congratulations to all of you.

09/05/2025: Eten was best lekker. We kregen bij het stukje vlees geen friet. Ook was de pasta erg zout. Om nou voor een biertje 10.00 euro te betalen en voor een glaasje wijn 9.00 vind ik een beetje te gek. Ook werd er een fles water neergezet en brood. Daar betaal je gewoon ook voor.

23/05/2025: STAY AWAY! My family and I had placed a reservation for this place months prior since we really wanted to experience that authentic experience of Roman cuisine. According to guides we found, this place has both the history and the taste to back up its claim of being the go-to spot to really immerse yourself in ancient Roman cultures. Towards the end of our day exploring Rome, we decided to make it to the restaurant a couple of minutes before our reservation since we were really eager and hungry to try their food. While waiting outside, the manager (who we figured out to be Simone) waltzed outside and started banging the chairs, blaming us for messing with the chairs outside. Now we are from the Philippines and really love to travel around the world. Luckily enough, we seldomly are victims of racism in the countries we visit; hence, this would have been the last place we thought we would have experienced this type of behavior. Especially since this place has so much reputation to hold onto being such a historical landmark. After the altercation, we still decided to eat at the restaurant since we already booked a reservation and pre-ordered our meals (we didn’t want to be rude, unlike them 😆). However, as time went on, we were treated with so much disrespect! As the same manager tended to all of the other guests (who were indeed the same skin color as him), he treated us and another table like so poorly like he had to just do it since his grandfather was watching. Eventually, the grandfather caught on to what he was doing and decided to change places with him in serving us. Food-wise, everything was too salty that we ordered more drinks every time a dish went out (maybe that is how they earn 😂). Their pasta was also undercooked, and I strongly implore to run away from their carbonara (it was too salty). We were confused to see other customers really having a good time, but surely enough I’ve also seen similar reviews before that depict a similar story to us, just because we aren’t locals 🥲. I really had high hopes for this restaurant, but please run away as soon as you can! 0️⃣/5️⃣

10/05/2025: Typically Roman trattoria. Low location but friendly and friendly staff. Excellent and plentiful cuisine with medium-low prices. The only flaw is that the customers are used to chatting loudly, but it is part of the typical folklore of the Torpignattara district. Try the pizzas and especially the cacio e pepe!
