14/06/2025: Amazing! Super relaxing atmosphere, wonderful service, and above all, fantastic food!! I ordered the Gricia (picture 1) and it was absolutely fantastic— along with the prosciutto and mozzarella (picture 2). If you have an appetite like I did, order 2 courses; the pasta portions are on the smaller side. I also got a delicious Aperol spritz. The steak is fantastic and the pasta with clams was apparently delicious according to someone in my group. Lastly, the tiramisu (picture 3) was divine! Pro tip— get a reservation. The line can be long and a reservation allows you to cut it completely.

Una pinsa insignificante, una calamarata buona, ravioli ricotta e spinaci affogati nel pomodoro, lasciati in buona parte. Altri primi senza infamia e senza lode. Una, presunta, crema catalana servita al piatto come tre quenelle con zucchero caramellato sopra, fredde... Conto fuori dalla logica, 31€ a testa per un primo e un dessert dimenticabili

22/05/2025: Siamo tornati dal Focolare per cena. Atmosfera sempre la stessa, molto accogliente e personale molto gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo gustato Insalata di mare quale antipasto, spigola al forno e seppie con carciofi per secondo e per finire le fragole con zabaione, vera specialità della casa e preparata come sempre direttamente dal proprietario. Tutto molto buono e gustoso. Questa volta però qualcosa non ha funzionato sui tempi, benché il ristorante non fosse pieno, entrando alle 20:15, siamo usciti dopo più di due ore con soste troppo lunghe tra una portata e l'altra. Prezzo circa €60 a testa

04/06/2025: Very well-known and very popular tavern in the Prenestino Labicano neighborhood where you can eat, at very affordable prices, tasty first courses, second courses with side dishes and desserts. I have had the opportunity to have lunch and dinner in this tavern several times on informal occasions and to celebrate birthdays. The staff is always kind and helpful. Recommended

31/05/2025: We've been there several times. The food is excellent, abundant, and the price-performance ratio is unbeatable. The carbonara is highly recommended. Everyone serving you is very kind. Without a doubt, our favorite place in Rome!

08/06/2025: We've been coming here for 27 years. 15 or 16 visits, all for lunch. Fixed menu. Fixed price. Everything is fine. It's not exclusive... very simple, but nice. We probably come here a lot as a habit...

08/06/2025: The food is delicious, there are a few different home made flavors, you should try it. If you are looking for a different flavor than the standard Roman pizza and pasta, I recommend it. We tried their home made wine, 1 Lt 12€ price is very good but you can find it 1-2 levels below your expectations but it is reasonable for this price. By the way, try the garlic eggplant from the starters.

02/06/2025: Coerente con il suo ruolo di pizzeria-trattoria di quartiere, questo locale si distingue per l’accoglienza calorosa e la disponibilità del personale, sempre pronto a soddisfare con gentilezza ogni richiesta. Tuttavia, dopo diverse visite tra aprile e maggio — sia in coppia che con amici — ho avuto modo di provare un’ampia varietà di piatti. La pizza romana si conferma l’unico vero punto di forza: sottile, croccante e ben condita. Qualche primo piatto si difende, ma gli antipasti risultano deludenti i carciofi alla giudia L'arredo, ormai datato, contribuisce a un’atmosfera che avrebbe bisogno di una rinfrescata. Se piace la classica pizza romana ( anni 70) consigliatissimo , per il resto anche no.

14/06/2025: Yesterday we went to lunch and were very excited. We were greeted very cordially. We proceeded to order, and that's when the misery began. I ordered a glass of white wine, and the waiter didn't offer me a taste and poured the whole glass. I didn't like the wine and didn't complain because I wanted to give it a try. We received our appetizers: echokes and a Caprese salad. I had to ask the waiter several times to bring us olive oil and balsamic vinegar. First, he brought the olive oil, and we told him we also wanted balsamic vinegar, and the waiter, very irritated, brought the ingredients for the salad one by one. For our main course, we ordered pasta. Two portions arrived first, and finally, the last portion arrived. We couldn't eat together. The man who served us was not calm, and the service was terrible: rushed and unfriendly. The food wasn't bad at all. However, a meal without good service isn't worth it.

10/06/2025: Excellent food and impeccable service. Veal sambuco was the best I've ever tasted. Carbonara was perfect. And real Romans eat there: there were two couples with their very well behaved little dogs sitting outside. Tourists don't bring their dogs.

21/05/2025: Anyone interested in studying not only antiquities but also Roman cuisine should stop by here. The artichoke (culinarily associated with Rome like nowhere else) is prepared here in a magnificent way and in a variety of ways (recommendation: artichokes three ways). I haven't tasted anything of similar quality anywhere else in Rome. They also serve a good house wine, and the food feels reasonably priced—away from the touristy establishments.

15/05/2025: Nine years ago, we dined at La Vecchia Frasca for the first time, and recently decided to return — we’re so glad we did! From the antipasti to the desserts, every dish was homemade and full of authentic flavor. The meal was perfectly complemented by local Frascati wine, for which the town is rightly famous. We were also pleasantly surprised to find that the prices remain just as reasonable as they were nearly a decade ago. La Vecchia Frasca continues to be a wonderful choice for a delicious and traditional lunch or dinner in Frascati. Highly recommended!

09/05/2025: The food is good. Very bad attention from the blonde girl. The other brunette girl was much kinder. But the truth is we don't feel comfortable with the attention. It seemed like they treated us differently just because we were tourists.

28/05/2025: They served us half-cooked pasta, quite tough and inedible. After leaving us with half-eaten dishes, the owner questioned us, and we told him it was tough. He told us it was "Al Dente" to convince us because he saw us as tourists, when I've been living in Bologna for four months and have tried their pasta more than enough. The truth is, it was very tough, I don't know if it was because they were eager to close or because they didn't get it right. I won't be back.

11/06/2025: Visited in the middle of the week. Trattoria outside. Quality inside. Roman cuisine like you can't find in Rome anymore. Try the Roman omelette, the trio of meatballs, the egg in tripe, the traditional first courses, the picchiapó. Good flavors of quality raw materials. And then good luck in the city, kingdom of unworthy chains (but with long lines thanks to some ageusic and anosmic influencers) and fake local innkeepers who always have good wine...

25/05/2025: On our way back from Fiumicino, encouraged by the positive reviews, we stop at this small and delightful trattoria to taste one of the dishes that reigns supreme in Rome...carbonara!! Expectations confirmed! In fact, we eat mezze maniche alla carbonara, which are nothing short of exquisite, one of the best we've ever eaten in Rome... Even the fried foods are exceptional...zucchini flowers and supplì cacio e pepe prepared with mastery and served hot and steaming. Kind, helpful and very hospitable staff. Absolutely recommended!!
