07/06/2025: After being recommended by another family at our hotel pool, we checked this place out. We are so glad that we did! The food was amazing and the service was great. We enjoyed their Bruschetta, Carbonara, and Caccio e Pepe. For those wanting a but but rustic tradition, try their appetizer trio of tripe, pork rind, and lamb innards. Also, don't skip their Prosciutto (ham) and dessert. Finally, besides the food... The staff was so kind and attentive. That's a rarity in a large European city. Highly recommend you don't miss this gem!

25/05/2025: My husband and I came here in April 2025 for a dinner celebrating our wedding anniversary with our baby daughter. The lovely serving staff took such good care of us all and we had a wonderful evening. It surpassed all hopes I had, in fact. The food and wine were also excellent and afterwards we enjoyed seeing the Colosseum and Roman Forum (from the Capitoline Hill) all illuminated by night. Really lovely and unforgettable experience, thank you!

10/06/2025: The food is really bad, I'm not just talking about the taste, but also the mistakes in cooking the pasta, the sand in the pasta with clams etc etc. Of course a mistake can happen but it's already the second time I go there and the food hasn't improved. Also the service is terrible, I called the waiter several times and it took more than 10 minutes for him to arrive and the place was empty!!

30/05/2025: ...and to think that not far from the places dear to me there is an osteria like this and to have discovered it recently is truly an outrage... Small but clean and welcoming place. The staff is always smiling and ready to satisfy the desires of the customers. The cuisine is classic, excellent, typical Roman cuisine. Everything to try. I recommend trying it.

07/05/2025: Good overall experience, some appetizers tasty, others less so, accompanied by somewhat anonymous sauces. The first courses were tasty and well presented. The second courses are also excellent, really tender pork. Good choice of wines.

01/06/2025: A fantastic restaurant, somewhat hidden away but with a great outdoor seating area and excellent service with a Latin flair. 🙂 The seafood dishes and the tiramisu are top-notch!

04/06/2025: The BEST carbonara I have ever had in my life. We have been regulars here now since getting to Roma on Monday (it’s now Wednesday). They have so many options, the staff is knowledgeable and so kind — especially Aurelia who made sure to note our food as gluten free (we both have celiac disease) and provided so much kindness! If you have celiac disease and/or are gluten free (senze gluten) you need to try this place, you truly will not regret it!

04/06/2025: Love this spot!! An absolute favorite and regular go-to for us in town/Rome. Our gluten free meal was fantastic and so flavorful. Service is always wonderful and Aurelia, our server, was so nice, welcoming, and helpful. Highly highly recommend coming here, 12/10!!

12/06/2025: Wow. What a surprise meal for us. The most quaint and cozy atmosphere but the service and owner are decades memorable! Downstairs is a history treat, the food is comforting and delicious, and all else of the restaurant is all it can be, to exceed our hopes. A+ You can’t go wrong!

03/06/2025: Very nice staff, top notch service. The food was great, including the cheeses. The waiter-owner showed us around the wine cellar, which he is certainly proud of. Nice place to sit with great food while browsing through Rome. Highly recommended!

11/06/2025: Sempre una garanzia. di solito prendo piatti di terra (la loro cacio e pepe è veramente notevole), stavolta pesce: paccheri e tagliolini spigola degni di nota, come anche il baccalà di antipasto. Rimane un must.

If you want to eat well at a good price in a relaxed environment but are a bit tired of only ever having amatriciana and carbonara to choose from I can’t recommend this place enough. Plenty of veggie/vegan options as well. They are very knowledgeable and helpful with any modifications

16/05/2025: My experience here was a big disappointment: the guanciale in the pasta alla gricia tasted “off”; the panna cotta was runny; the service indifferent. The thumping of disco-type music from an adjoining establishment didn’t lend itself to a pleasant dining experience. I won’t be back nor would I recommend it.

18/05/2025: A place that I would recommend both for the traditional Roman cuisine menu and for the friendly and helpful staff. They let us have dinner on a Friday night at 11:30 pm without any problems while the nearby restaurants were closing.

17/05/2025: A great place with excellent service. We ate on the terrace without a reservation. We tried the eggplant, the carbonara pasta, and the Roman-style tripe. Everything was delicious. The tiramisu for dessert was also delicious. We left feeling super full, and I think it was cheap for what we got. You can order house wine in bulk, for example, half a liter or a liter. Highly recommended.
