On our way back from Sicily, we stopped in Rome for a carbonara... a friend had recommended this place to me, partly because of the friendly waiter... we went, and I really felt at ease right away... an Italian-Indonesian guy named Mark immediately stole my heart with his thoughtfulness, his smile, his kindness, his politeness, and his attention to the customer... hard to find these days in this fast-paced world... a real hard worker, in short!!! Congratulations, man, you make the place you work even more wonderful, given the excellent quality of the food!!! I'll be back to visit you 🥰🥰🥰

Overall, a good place with a partial view of the Colosseum. The waiters Rafi and Nasba are friendly, fast, and professional, attentive to the customer's needs. Fast service, good value. We were satisfied with our lunch break.

07/05/2026: I'm still thinking about how wonderful the food and service were. The atmosphere was very traditional, you felt very well looked after, and the food was some of the best we had in Rome. A friend recommended it as the place he'd like to take his children to when he becomes a father... So it's great for going with the family. Just be sure to make a reservation because it's very popular, or arrive early and wait in line. It was there that I tried the pasta all'amatriciana, undoubtedly the best of the trip. My family fell in love with the cacio e pepe. We highly recommend it. One of the two places where we ate the best food in Rome.

10/05/2026: I spent a week in Rome, and after a day exploring the monuments, I went there for dinner. The place is very welcoming, and the staff is always courteous and ready to accommodate every request. The owner is extremely kind and always available. They know exactly how to make you feel at home. The food is excellent, and I guarantee you'll have a hard time leaving anything on your plate. Definitely the best restaurant in Northern Rome.
