20/05/2025: This is the type of restaurant I’m always in the search for: authentic, not too pretentious, not too pricy, not gimmicky and delicious. The restaurant is from a family from Puglia and combines Roman classics with Pugliese cuisine. Every stage of the meal was a highlight by itself and it would keep surprising as it unfolded. We had the Vignarola (highly reccommend) as well as the Alici Fritti as a starter. Then we had Carbonara and the Papardelle “Tram Tram” with artichokes. We finished with the crema al limone with strawberries. We finished with some Finnocchietto liquor on ice. I am just happy and thankful that we went to this place.

12/07/2025: The seating is very comfortable, with a view through a glass wall of the former papal escape route from the Vatican to Castel Sant'Angelo. The menu is well-stocked. The dishes are lovingly prepared. The service is very attentive.

15/07/2025: We went for dinner during our stay in Rome. We were pleasantly surprised by the fast and friendly service, the traditional Roman food (carbonara and amatriciana were never so good), the top-notch wine, and the staff, always attentive to our needs. We especially want to mention Andrei, a man with a kindness and professionalism rarely found these days, who, step by step, made our evening truly flawless. 24/07/2025: The restaurant is located just steps from the main attractions, yet away from the hustle and bustle of tourists. The atmosphere is truly pleasant: soft lighting, quality music, air conditioning, and a welcoming atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at ease. The cuisine is delicious, with well-prepared dishes and an excellent selection of wines—there are so many! The two dining areas can accommodate even large groups, yet still maintain an intimate feel. I was even able to work on my computer in complete tranquility; they offered Wi-Fi without any issues. Ideal for both a romantic dinner and a relaxing break. Kudos to the friendly and helpful staff. I'll definitely be back!

19/07/2025: Ho deciso di portare un mio familiare in questo locale non molto distante dal centro, situato in una zona tranquilla e piacevole. Appena ci siamo avvicinati per leggere il menù, un cameriere gentile si è avvicinato con il sorriso, chiedendoci se volevamo accomodarci. Abbiamo accettato volentieri e ci ha subito fatto accomodare in un tavolino all’esterno, ben apparecchiato e in posizione comoda. Il servizio è stato fin da subito cordiale e attento, ci siamo sentiti accolti come a casa. Abbiamo mangiato in abbondanza, con piatti gustosi, ben preparati e serviti con cura. La qualità del cibo ci ha davvero sorpresi in positivo. La gentilezza del personale ha reso l’esperienza ancora più piacevole. È un locale che merita, e ci tornerò sicuramente. Lo consiglio vivamente a chi cerca un posto autentico, dove mangiare bene e sentirsi davvero benvoluto.

03/06/2025: El personal amable y el aperol spritz era muy bueno. El menú tenía buenas opciones. Me equivoqué de plato y el camarero no se ofreció a traer el plato correcto y me dejó con algunos sentimientos encontrados.

15/07/2025: 📝 Recommended trattoria in the heart of Rome with friendly service. 🍴 You can find many traditional Roman dishes, including very good pizzas. I had the fried stuffed zucchini flowers, the classic sautéed chicory, and the cacio e pepe: I loved everything. 📍 The location is very central, we ate outside, and the atmosphere was very nice.

17/07/2025: Truly excellent food, but above all, kudos to the service. Super fast, professional, and friendly. It's clear the restaurant places a lot of importance on this aspect and that the wait staff is well-trained. This is by no means a given. Fifteen minutes after arriving, I had already eaten my appetizer and received my main course. And this despite the restaurant being completely packed! Elsewhere, you wait so long just to be served. Excellent! I recommend booking, as the restaurant is very popular.

On the waiter's recommendation, we ordered typical local dishes: a caponata appetizer, a first course (swordfish busiate), and a portion of swordfish rolls with citrus fruits. 18/07/2025: Penne Arrabiata was so-so BUT the steak and the tortellini soup were very good. Also the service was tops!! Dont forget to order Tiramisu!

25/07/2025: Lunch during a workday, fast service and very welcoming. The carbonara was beautifully seasoned, and the mezze maniche pasta brought out the flavors even more. Each bite was like mopping up the bacon, pecorino, and egg. I recommend it, even though I was hesitant about the homemade fettuccine with mussels and pecorino. Fast service, generous side of sautéed chicory with chili pepper, well done. Coffee and house amaro (Dar Bruttone). Fair prices, below average considering the location.

25/07/2025: Disappointment across the board. Unfortunately, my experience was negative in every way. The traditional Roman dishes, which should be the restaurant's flagship, were disappointing: the gricia, in particular, tasted more like pasta with butter and parmesan than the flavorful, authentic dish I was expecting. The seating issue was also a serious one: on the phone, we'd been told about a "terrace," but it was simply a sidewalk terrace, right next to the garbage cans. A decidedly unpleasant situation, both in terms of atmosphere and hygiene. I won't be returning.
