04/07/2026: The best seafood restaurant I've ever had! We live near Venice, in Caorle... we stumbled upon this little restaurant by chance, recommended by the locals who work at the market. Raw appetizer for two, first course, second course, dessert, wine, and coffee... €75 for two... but other than the price, everything was amazing... the food, the atmosphere, and the service! Highly recommended!

26/07/2026: As tourists this restaurant felt like a more authentic Italian dining experience compared to many of the restraints we dined at. The food was great and the service felt very genuine.

25/07/2026: We spontaneously went there for lunch and were thrilled – the culinary highlight of our Rome trip and a world away from the usual touristy atmosphere. The Quinto Quarto antipasti were superb, as were the main courses. The homemade ice cream with candied fruit pieces was divine. Our host was extremely accommodating, and all the staff were very friendly and attentive. The eclectic music selection enhanced the feeling of having stepped into another, magical world – it's also available as a playlist on Spotify, by the way.

23/06/2026: A small restaurant in the center of Marino, with a well-kept and welcoming interior. The owner is very kind and helpful. The selection of dishes isn't vast (it's better), but the ingredients are high-quality. We had a great time 👍

17/05/2026: Great little place, very popular. The pasta carbonara en cacio e pepe were among the best pastas we've had during our Italy roadtrip. I wouldn't recommend the meat dishes. Our beef stew in wine and the osso bucco were very average and not as tender as you'd expect from a nice stew.

17/05/2026: This restaurant is a wonderful place. The food is excellent. The price is good. The waiters are friendly and very fast. I will definitely come back next time I am in Rome.

08/08/2026: A very bad experience. We had made a reservation several months in advance at the Il Ciociaro restaurant and had received a confirmation. So we arrived at the scheduled time, having planned our evening around this reservation. To our great surprise, the restaurant was completely closed, without any prior notice, cancellation, or explanation. We had to find another restaurant at the last minute, which was particularly disappointing after having taken the trouble to book several months in advance. The very least they could have done was inform customers in case of closure or cancellation. A confirmed reservation should be honored, or at least the customer should be informed well in advance. I do not recommend this establishment, especially if you plan to rely on your reservation to organize your evening.

08/08/2026: Reservation made several months in advance, confirmation email received, and upon arrival the restaurant was CLOSED!! Without any prior warning, of course. All this in the middle of August, so during peak season. Incomprehensible... Truly disappointed; this behavior is really unprofessional and gives a bad image of Rome!

31/07/2026: This evening, my teenage daughter and I dined in the cellar of a restaurant we booked through GetYourGuide as part of our trip to Rome. The cellar is apparently a remnant of the former Baths of Agrippa (Agrippa was Augustus's best friend and, among other things, founded Cologne). The food was excellent, as was the accompanying wine, and the charming Benita provided wonderful conversation and service. The price was reasonable. The restaurant and restrooms were very clean. In short: I highly recommend it!

17/07/2026: I can honestly say I ate the best pasta in Rome here. From the outside, it looked like a small place, but inside it's large and quite elegant. Their tiramisu was also very good.
