29/05/2026: The Osteria was highly recommended. However, the carbonara we ordered was very spicy, practically impossible to eat. We complained AND THEY OFFERED TO MAKE ANOTHER ONE. It was much better, but they charged us for the inedible carbonara AND ALSO CHARGED US FOR THE OTHER ONE THEY OFFERED TO MAKE! This was not right... this situation and another we experienced with Romans (non-immigrants) make us say, PAY ATTENTION TO EVERYTHING! L'osteria ci era stata caldamente raccomandata. Tuttavia, la carbonara che abbiamo ordinato era molto piccante, prática inedenciabile. Ci siamo lamentati e SI SONO OFFERTI DI PREPARARNE UN'ALTRA. Era molto meglio, ma ci hanno fatto pagare sia la carbonara inmangiabile che quella CHE SI ERANO OFFERTI DI FARCI! It wasn't giusto... this situation, and it's also an abbiamo vissuto with my Romani (non-immigration), so I didn't say: FATE ATTENZIONE A TUTTO!

26/05/2026: The food was okay. I got the steak and it was good but the seasonal vegetables were lackluster. Just boiled vegetables, only salt seasoning. My friend got the risotto and it was just wet rice, not combined well like risotto should be.

04/06/2026: 2 adults and 2 children. Thursday evening. Not very crowded. Reservations recommended. Located on a small side street, near the center, this place was a pleasant surprise. A unique and original location, the staff were extremely courteous and never intrusive, dressed in costume. We sat on the small but cozy outdoor terrace. We had two appetizers and four first courses (carbonara, amatriciana, and cacio&pepe), all delicious. The mixed fried fish was a little smaller than the other dishes but delicious (€18). The price was slightly higher than average, but commensurate with the quality of the dishes and the seaside location. RECOMMENDED!

05/05/2026: The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was very good. I didn't manage to take any more photos! If we ever have the chance, we'd gladly return.

10/05/2026: I spent a week in Rome, and after a day exploring the monuments, I went there for dinner. The place is very welcoming, and the staff is always courteous and ready to accommodate every request. The owner is extremely kind and always available. They know exactly how to make you feel at home. The food is excellent, and I guarantee you'll have a hard time leaving anything on your plate. Definitely the best restaurant in Northern Rome.

16/05/2026: Fantastic and authentic, real family running the place, excellent food, friendly staff and where you want to eat to taste actual Roman and Italian food. When you have so many restaurants in this area that are tourist traps this place is a shining star! Check opening and closing times as per good Italian tradition they close late afternoon until dinner. Wow wow wow! Still a hidden gem

15/05/2026: Nice restaurant on the well-known Lungaretta street which has many restaurants and cafes. Delicious, the best we have tried..but I recommend pasta because it is a good portion and delicious..The meat dishes are very small portions but delicious..The staff is simply satisfactory..Prices are reasonable

17/04/2026: We really enjoyed our last dinner here. We had the black Angus beef entrecote (perfectly cooked and had a lovely spiced pumpkin hummus and chorizo sauce which complemented the meat well) and the spaghetti alla chitarra (SO good). I'm not a huge dessert fan but my friends got some and they were too beautiful to eat but were tasty too. The service was great too.

17/05/2026: Great little place, very popular. The pasta carbonara en cacio e pepe were among the best pastas we've had during our Italy roadtrip. I wouldn't recommend the meat dishes. Our beef stew in wine and the osso bucco were very average and not as tender as you'd expect from a nice stew.

17/05/2026: This restaurant is a wonderful place. The food is excellent. The price is good. The waiters are friendly and very fast. I will definitely come back next time I am in Rome.

09/05/2026: In my opinion, this is the best Osteria in the Castelli Romani. I was fortunate enough to dine here under the careful guidance and expert advice of owner Fabrizio, a delightful person who immediately makes you feel at home. The location is spacious and well-maintained, with a very convenient private parking lot in the back. The menu offers many dishes, including typical Roman cuisine, but not limited to. The restaurant features a large grill used for both meat and seafood. The food is truly exquisite, with a special mention for the wild boar steaks—the desserts are also excellent. Overall, the best choice we could have made, and we'll definitely be back!

03/06/2026: A place that's always been in my heart. I've been going there for 30 years, when after working at the theater with my father, we'd always go there to eat with the various actors... amatriciana, one of the best in Rome, creamed in pecorino cheese.

15/03/2026: We originally planned to dine at this restaurant for both lunch and dinner today. However, the plan was ruined by an unqualified young waitress. During lunch, due to her carelessness, she placed the bread basket at the edge of the table and nearly let it fall to the floor. The slices of bread were scattered on the table, and she casually picked them up and put them back into the basket, then handed it to us. We asked her to replace the bread, but she showed clear displeasure. Fortunately, an older waitress had some sense of professionalism and agreed to replace it. Nevertheless, our appetite had already been greatly diminished, so we hurried through the meal and canceled our original dinner reservation.

16/06/2026: I tried their excellent rosemary tagliata! The place is very large but very popular, so you need to reserve a table. Some of my guests had appetizers that looked well-made, and I'll be back to try them. Luckily, I was on my motorcycle; parking is tricky in that area.

16/06/2026: We were so excited to try this place but the woman who sat us was unbelievably rude and insulting. The food, however, was incredible! The carbonara was worth it even if the vibe was ruined by getting yelled at.

15/06/2026: They mistakenly didn't write down our order, so it took a little while to serve us, but they were very kind and offered us another drink while we waited. The place was lovely and the waiter was very attentive, so we didn't mind the delay since we weren't in a hurry. The pasta was delicious, so it was well worth the wait. I'd love to go back if I visit Rome again. Thank you.

07/05/2026: Found this place by reviews (looked like a menu with good variety). Family of 4 walked in the entrance. Owner (or someone else of authority) from the back waved us out angrily...not a word spoken, just an angry hand wave out with some words we didn't understand (I've never experienced that reaction entering a restaurant anywhere). We left immediately. I guess you need reservations or can't have a family of 4 with 2 children at 7:40p on a Thursday (quiet 7 and 12 year olds)? There's a way to politely say we're too busy (or something else ?) vs embarrass a family for stepping in a door looking for dinner. Ultimately happy we took our business elsewhere. Our only bad experience in 10+ restaurant visits on Roman vacation.

07/05/2026: The meat dishes were quite disappointing (quality and preparation). The wait was too long, and the bill was disappointing, bordering on dishonest (an incomprehensible 25% surcharge). Avoid this place.
