Very good food, catering for all tastes (obviously traditional Roman fare). I recommend the carbonara, the fried dishes, and the oxtail stew.
Quick and knowledgeable staff, and almost no wait time.
Old-fashioned atmosphere, but given that it's a long-established trattoria, that's acceptable.
The bill is a little high, but nothing out of the ordinary.

Welcoming, clean atmosphere, impeccable service. The food was highly appreciated. The rigatoni carbonara was super delicious, the best I've ever had. The oxtail stew was also superb, and the rabbit was also very tender, flavorful, and tasty, with that aroma of spices and wine. Congratulations! 👍

I've been wanting to go there for a while; it's a historic trattoria. We had an appetizer and a first course; I had the carbonara. What I liked was that it wasn't at all salty. Fried artichokes and sinew for an appetizer. Prices are average; definitely worth a try.

A beautiful restaurant just steps from the Colosseum. We ate or tried a variety of things: truly superb fried artichokes, delicious boiled artichokes seasoned with pepper and mint, carbonara worth 11, truly delicious grey pasta with super-crispy bacon, and delicious amatriciana. For our main course, we had sweetbreads (which tasted like candy, delicious), roast lamb with potatoes, delicious and perfectly cooked, and a sampling of Roman-style tripe, which in my opinion was the best dish of all the dishes we tried, always excellent with mint. The dessert zuppa inglese was delicious. A wonderful restaurant, the owners were very kind and helpful, and the waiters were friendly and knowledgeable. Excellent!
