Rigatoni with pajata, Roman-style artichokes, sweetbreads, fried lamb, and finally, the best "Italian" zuppa inglese. The epitome of traditional Roman cuisine, accompanied by good wine and friendly but always impeccable service. A successful experiment this time, too.

Very, very good, traditional, where you can still find Roman specialties that have almost disappeared. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Great place! We enjoyed every minute there. Wonderful food, full of taste. Wine was amazing! But best of all was our waiter, who tried to please us in so many ways - giving us suggestions, presenting the food, even a small bag of sweets from the house!
I recommend to book a table in advance, because at some point all tables were occupied.

A historic Roman trattoria that never disappoints. Everything is good, the prices are slightly higher than average, but that's fair enough because what I pay for is what I get back in the quality of the food and service. A surefire way to spend a wonderful evening.

It had good food . But English speaking tourists , make an effort to speak in Italian. You’re in another country but complain when immigrants don’t speak English In yours. And stop wearing baseball hats in restaurants. So rude

A bit crowded, with tables perhaps a little too close together, Perilli is a typically Roman trattoria in terms of both food and service...friendly, kind, frank, genuine, and down-to-earth, just like true Romans. After all, we're in Testaccio, one of the most Roman neighborhoods in the world. The cuisine is absolutely Roman, traditional in its simplicity, made with genuine ingredients, free from any culinary complications. The lamb is excellent, both baked with potatoes and fried; the meat is incredibly flavorful and tender, and the chops are absolutely free of excess oil. The zuppa inglese is also very good, although it's not made in the classic version (with chocolate cream), but with chocolate shavings.
