12/08/2025: This will be my thousandth visit. And as I always say, "This is home to me." Hospitality, elegance, refinement, generosity, research, curiosity, attentiveness, and food that is pure art, not only in its presentation but also in its palate. Thank you so much.

11/08/2025: We dined four courses of a la carte, received fantastic service, very accommodating treatment of our 6yo son, and excellent wines. My favorite two dishes was the raw red prawns in sea urchin sauce and the tuna pasta in a seafood brodo with lemon. I hope the guide will consider awarding Quintessenza two stars next year.

21/08/2025: We visited Farmacia dei Sani in Ruffano and had a wonderful experience! The gourmet cuisine was truly surprising, with simple dishes but thoughtful and original pairings. We chose the six-course blind menu and were delighted with the surprise and quality of the dishes. The staff was very attentive and professional, and the service was fast and precise. The attached liquor store is also a great addition; I tried one of their liqueurs and I must say it was excellent! We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a high-quality culinary experience.

19/08/2025: Well done. Well done. You might not like it, as happens with strong personalities: compact menu, distinct flavors, clear choices. But you don't have to please everyone: the Cavallo Sgombroto (a reinterpretation of vitello tonnato) is a prime example. Spaghettoni with excellent anchovy sauce, superb ice cream stick... and so on. Incidentally, the village where you can stroll after dinner is delightful. Average €60 and worth every penny.

25/08/2025: The trattoria advertised as the best in town was a bit of a disappointment. We tried five dishes and appetizers. The meat platter and the slow-braised lamb were very good. The rabbit pasta was tasty, although the rabbit was token. The orchette with tomato sauce was decent but not outstanding, and the eggplant lasagna wasn't to our liking. The wait for a waiter was very long, and the second bottle of water we ordered didn't arrive, but it was on the bill. And the wait for the bill...

04/08/2025: We were there last night and were thrilled. Everything is just perfect here. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The fish is unbeatable. There was even live music, and that woman deserves her applause. We had a reservation outside, and the ambiance was simply beautiful. We highly recommend it and will definitely be back.

25/08/2025: Delicious dinner: for me, the best restaurant in Monopoli's historic center (I tried five). Incredible appetizers (tuna millefeuille and sea bass carpaccio). Delicious first course. Fairly priced.

29/08/2025: We waited a bit because the restaurant was busy, but once our orders were taken, service was prompt, thanks to the very kind and helpful waiter Vittorio. The food was excellent and the prices were fair. The carpaccio and the bombette are highly recommended, and the house rosé is also excellent. Reservations are recommended.

30/07/2025: A magnificent location in the historic center of Trani, just steps from the port. The interior is beautifully maintained and the food is divine. The welcome is very kind and, especially for those with celiac disease (gluten-free), it's an excellent restaurant to stop in for at least a couple of hours.
