Nice to return to Romeo when we pass through Parma. Always at the top, dishes above all expectations.

A historic Parma venue in every sense of the word. I've always remembered it; it has period furnishings, yet is warm and welcoming, and has a collection of very charming everyday objects.

A historic trattoria... it's been around for over 50 years and serves traditional Parmesan cuisine.
The tortelli d'erbetta, fried polenta, cured meats, and tarts are spectacular.

Fantastic service, the staff—what can I say? Attentive is an understatement. Delicious food, no complaints there. We had a great time and will be back. One of the best services we've ever received.

Sunday lunch with family and children (booked by my brother-in-law, Parmigiano Doc). There were seven of us!
A true trattoria, no frills and very down-to-earth.
It's a pleasant place and the food is good.
Seeing the women in the kitchen preparing dishes as they once were is pure poetry (the lady, the owner, no longer very young, who makes the cappelletti deserves to be a point of reference for schools with special visits and hands-on lessons).
Everything was good, including the fresh house Barbera.
Kudos not only to the first courses, but also to the stuffed punta, the guanciale (very tender), the fried polenta, the giardiniera vegetables, and the artichokes...
If I may be a show-off, I'll allow myself to say "very humbly" that perhaps I expected a little more from the cured meats, especially the crudo (which doesn't mean they weren't good).
Absolutely fair price.
Thank you very much, and see you next time.

A historic Parma trattoria, located just outside the city but easy to get to. There are plenty of parking spaces, so parking isn't a problem. It's always best to reserve a table; the place is quite large, but it's always crowded, and you might not always find a table. We had a mixed cured meats as an appetizer, served with fried polenta. The fried polenta was very good, light, not too greasy, and plentiful. I had the anolini, which were served in a soup tureen. They were really good. Other friends had the tortelli, and osso buco with peas, all very good. We ordered some local Lambrusco for drinks, but I don't remember the name of the bottle. The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff friendly and attentive.
