The food is really good, including the torta fritta (fried dumpling) appetizer and the very good schiacciata (flatbread). The horse meat strips and tortelli with various flavors are also delicious. Reservations are recommended.

Everything was delicious and well-prepared: a wide selection of tortelli (leek, herbs, fennel, pumpkin, beetroot, etc.), fantastic chocolate cake, and unparalleled homemade gelato!
Refined furnishings and a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended!

08/07/2025: This restaurant, located in the Parma hills, offers traditional Parmesan cuisine. A truly positive experience. We dined under the gazebo, fortunately enjoying the cool air and escape from the heat of the city.
The staff were helpful, although with so many seats, they may have gotten a little overwhelmed. However, the generous portions and the delicious dishes met my expectations.
We'll definitely be back at Gelsy.

12/08/2025: Given that I knew it by reputation and therefore had high expectations, I ordered a classic first course, tortelli d'erbetta. They were beautifully presented but unfortunately very heavy, almost indigestible, and despite being one of my favorite dishes, I couldn't finish them. The quality/price ratio was too high in my opinion. Otherwise, the location was excellent, and the staff were attentive and knowledgeable. It's a shame.
11/08/2025: As always, excellent meat, and the tortelli are, in my opinion, the best in Parma.
Superb wine cellar, you'll be spoiled for choice.

30/08/2025: I visited this restaurant one August evening, authentic in its flavors and hospitality. The fried pizza and selection of cured meats and parmesan (various ages) were top-notch, along with excellent traditional first courses, including the risottos (both with asparagus and porcini mushrooms and with 60-month parmesan) that were a pleasant surprise. The location, with its indoor dining rooms, is a charming place.
