We were thrilled. Authentic Ligurian cuisine, mostly locals and regulars. Few tourists. The American tourists next to us devoured the giant steak and were, quite audibly, very satisfied. Our pasta – just like Mom used to make. Delicious and down-to-earth.

Found it by chance while walking around Chiavari...delicious and very welcoming...I had lunch alone...but I found neighbors to chat with...very good food! The farinata is top!!!!!

Ligurian trattoria... just like it used to be. The prices are more than fair, too. I recommend sticking with the local daily specials and the farinata (excellent!), which is always available. The portions aren't huge, but they're satisfying.

A leap against the grain, home-made dishes, fair prices, always busy and therefore popular. Baiciotto is perfectly at home under the ancient porticoes of Chiavari. Much more than Calzedonia.

13/06/2026: We were really lucky to find this restaurant. Excellent food and impeccable service at a fair price. Reservations are essential.
31/05/2026: We were back after a while. The quality, already high, has improved. The food was excellent. Pasquale's wife has added a touch of Asian taste which made the dishes even better. Service fine. Price reasonable considering the quality. Go, you won't be disappointed

14/04/2026: The pesto lasagna has dropped from last year's, but the food is still excellent and the quality/price ratio is good. There's a bit of a line, but that's unavoidable during rush hour.
