We went to Osteria Matetti in Alassio tonight and can only leave a super positive review.
I had a truly wonderful meal, but what impressed us even more was the hospitality!
My friend unfortunately felt ill during dinner, and the staff was kind, thoughtful, always available, and attentive. What's more, they didn't even charge her for what she ordered.
The food was EXCEPTIONAL, and the service was even more so. We'll definitely be back and recommend it to everyone!

Fast service, good food, including farinata (farinata) to start, apple fritters, and a liqueur.
For Alassio, excellent prices; always busy, best to book.

The food is good; upon arrival, we were offered three small pieces of warm farinata, followed by two hot fritters with apples and a bitter liqueur.
For Alassio, the prices are excellent.

One word: SPECTACULAR! We went there for lunch, drawn by the many positive reviews, which I can only confirm. As soon as we were seated, they offered us a welcome appetizer. We then had a first course with pesto and potatoes and a second course of rabbit, pine nuts, and olives, to share. At the end of the meal, they offered us fritters and a bottle of Ligurian amaro (excellent!). The place is beautiful, full of photos and vintage objects. The prices are more than fair for the generous portions. If you want a change from the restaurants with a sea view, this is a choice that won't disappoint! Highly recommended! We'll definitely be back.

We stopped for lunch, a place from another era, like an osteria many years ago, as the photos on the walls prove it.
We ate very well, the first courses were superb, as were the second courses, which were more than generous portions.
The host is friendly and strict, "Be careful not to use your cell phone too much at the table, because when he passes by he'll ask you what you came to do? To eat or to play with your phone?" Jokingly, of course!
The waiters are also good and friendly, and the prices are fair. We'll definitely be back!

Super welcoming staff, informal atmosphere, delicious food. There's nothing else to say except come and try the Gasse al pesto!!
Ps. Welcome appetizer, dessert and liqueur on the house, dessert reserved in abundance until you burst. Congratulations!!!!

A popular show accompanied by an always excellent destinare, a typical Ligurian welcome with a hint of barely concealed noble antipathy.
